My biggest issue with the team over the years has been laziness, not talent. Even teams with lower quality of players are more aggressive.

At this point, if United sign Olise, Kane, Rice, Tonali, Saliba, Gabriel, etc, they will turn out like the current flock. Mbeumo and Cunha that played with so much urgency and energy at their former club have turned slowpoke and almost useless, Sesko that was scoring outside shot at Leipzig cannot shoot properly again. Carrick sef useless with him selection and subs, but United get serious problem wey no dey visible to the eye.

This can't be what we will be playing this season o. We are supposed to build on last season. It's not too late for the team. Carrick needs to talk to himself and the boys. It's not even about the result for me. I have always been particular about how they play, how they got that result. This is why I don't celebrate some wins because I know that we didn't play well enough

It doesn't even have to be as frequent as what distinguishes world-class goalies from average ones but atleast let him pull his weight a little bit more.

It is worthy of note that lammens was beaten at his near post for that first goal.

Powerful shot, yeah but while we continue to ask our defenders to sit up, our goalkeeper should also upgrade his standards such that he wouldnt feel helpless in scenarios like that

I can remember very clearly how Lammens made a lot of saves last season to keep us in the game. I'm not sure if anybody is debating who is better between Raya and Lammens with you.

We start the game very slow and only pick up when we concede. We can't continue to play like this. Some days with luck on our side, we don't concede until we grow into the game and take over. Other days we get punished and starts to pursue the game. It's still that same energy we have always talked about for the last couple of years

If only they can be aggressive enough to pursue every ball and be intentional in their movements and passes, we will worry less about Lammens. The 3 midfield i propose will be Baleba/Santos, Mainoo and Tielemans while the forward will be Trashford/Cunha, Sesko/Trashford/Mbeumo and Amad/Mbeumo/Lacey. This will give us better balance and dominance in midfield, while our front 3 troubles the opposition defence with pace. The bolded is the only solution to living Bruno out...

On paper yes. But what actually happens on the field depends on much more than this. They must be aggressive, 100% focused, and cut out avoidable errors.

I’m watching Ipswich vs Sunderland and the pace of the game and physicality of both teams is better than the rubbish we served vs Milan and today. If we carry the same sluggish play go meet both teams, they will pepper us.

Carrick and his players underrated Hull City and they got punished for it. Simple.

So why are other teams fit and only Manchester United players not fit or are there other teams with this problem?
