This fitness thing, does it apply to only Manchester United or it's general? Are we going to say the same thing if we look at players in Assnal and other big clubs? How many matches did some of those players play for preseason?

Both Bruno and Cunha played world cup till Round of 16. Both of them still played pre-season so I don't know what match fit that they are not fitting

Bruno played his natural position. He has been at the club for over 2-3 weeks. If the coaching staff is not able to get the players to fitness in 2 weeks, then I wonder what they're doing

Mbeumo should have started as the striker. No striker and you put Cunha that is not fit. A half fit Sesko did a better job upfront.

Why do you think Cunha is not fit?

1.Most of our players stayed too long after the break, so came back rusty almost for the begining of the league. Mainoo, Cunha and Dalot should have returned at least 1 week before their retuen.


2 Playing Dorgu at LW, Cunha did so well last season there and there is Rashford. Mbwumo cannot drible to save his life, so our wings are toothless.

3.We honestly need to move on from Luke shaw.

4. Finally as muat as a lot of people will like to deny it, Carrick need to find a place in that mid field for Mainoo

His selection did not make sense. Mbeumo that played as a striker all thru pre season shunted to the wing, putting Cunha and Bruno upfront. None of those make sense. The attack could not recover even after the subs. Dorgu will always be Dorgu. Just take him out anytime he starts to stink up the joint. Decisions cost us the game.

Also, WTF is going on regarding defending set pieces? He should go get another assistant to handle set pieces.

Mbuemo is not a stranger to playing from the wings. Amad may have been Carrick's preferred RW, seeing that he played that position during preseason. But Amad is injured. Is Mbuemo not the next person in line to play that wing? One could even argue that Mbuemo should be the number-one candidate for that position.

Sesko is not fit. Mbuemo should be the next in line, but he had to move to the right because Amad is injured. The next person in line to start that position is Cunha/Zirkzee. The coach went with Cunha. All these players are seniors and should be able to do their jobs in the positions they played today. They are not youngsters.

I don't know Carrick's obsession with Dorgu, but he was instrumental to Carrick's team that qualified for the Champions League some months ago, finishing the season strong

We are still very suspectible with set piece.

Check the records for the second half of the season. We stopped conceding set pieces.

Haba na. We became much better at defending set pieces before Amorim left and till the end of the season. We even started scoring set pieces too

Dorgu this Dorgu that. Dorgu is not the reason they're camped in our half and more aggressive. We need to do better collectively as a team

I am not sure Carrick sees Dorgu as a LB. As per what we saw last season, it appears Carrick wanted to play cautious and safe and Dorgu at LW seemed like a good decision to him.

TBH, I think Dorgu should be starting ahead of Shaw at LB.

We beat Hull convincingly and nobody remembers what happened today.

The Dorgu LW experiment is getting my attention a little bit more as it appears he would be getting a sizeable amount of minutes this season in that role.

That Fella has no business starting as a LW against lowly teams and Carrick should be aware.

I still dey observe because e be like say na there i go get issues with the coach.

We have Cunha and Rashford. Why would Dorgu get sizeable amount of minutes this season? Unless it's for a tactical reason that nobody can really see except Carrick explains it

If we had matched their energy early on, the game would’ve progressed differently. We’re suffering now because our laziness gave them the confidence to outplay and outscore us.

Whatever the formation, the players still need to be told where to apply pressure and where to create space. They succeeded in creating space in their RW. I remember Amad used to enjoy that space under Amorim.

We were just outclassed tactically, which is fine. We learn from this and move on

Deficiencies are there for all to see. We don't have a proper DM. We don't have a proper central midfielder. We need a proper RB.

We have proper midfielders please. Tielemans, Santos, Bruno and Mainoo can do a job in the midfield. Maybe we need more but we currently have 4. These 4 should be able to hold their own if we are being serious.

Amad will just be envying Milan right wing. That is how he used to eat good under Amorim

I was rooting for Tchou earlier in the window. Now I don’t want INEOS to tchoos him. He’s going to be an unnecessarily expensive player we might think we could afford.

I’m not against us making expensive signings, I just don’t think it’s the right time to splash in the current phase of our squad building.

Well whatever the case, we still need one more midfielder so whatever they need to do, they need to sort it out fast. Unless Carrick has plans for one of the young midfielders
