Madam, that bolded words is what it is but unfortunately only few here are diplomats with their view while others whether afonja, ipob, etc are guilty of tribal rants.
That aside, oil has made us mentally and I wish that resource can dry up so Nigerians can harness our potential to drive this country.
UK, China, Germany, Netherlands, even Ivory coat etc don't have oil yet their economies are among the strongest in the world. That resource definitely needs to dry up for us to make progress in this country, since unfortunately we have never had leaders with any common sense in this country. See the state of poverty in the country despite the wealth in it. Is that normal? The interesting thing is even if it doesn't dry up, it will soon be made redundant in the near future. A lot of countries are already putting in place long term strategic plans for electric vehicles, LPG cars, LNG trucks etc. |

wristbangle: Why are u awake at 3.24a.m for F sake?
But I stand to be corrected, is restructuring not something of regional scope where each states in a region will harness it's resources to feed themselves?
As for secession, I oppose it but judging from the frustration, anger and hunger in the country, one may have a rethink it's better to form a nation of its own. Still the masses especially the IPOB are naive to see that their frustration should be expressed to their corrupt leaders, same for arewa and oduduwa youths instead we are fighting each other while elites merry in wealth. E be like say all of you were doing night vigil on this thread (assuming no time zone differences) Patriotic Nigerian youths debating the future of Nigeria at 4am. I raise a glass to y'all @ Topic I re-echo your point: States should be responsible for their own spending, rather than being spoonfed from the center. is restructuring not something of regional scope where each states in a region will harness it's resources to feed themselves? |

Sagay212: After killing their people with bombs and giving them all manner of diseases and making them extremely poor, they create IDP camps to get funds from foreign countries. They get the funds and used to buy houses abroad. Animals Foreign governments need to stop giving African countries aid. Full stop. Imagine a state which couldn't provide meningitis vaccines for children, children for goodness sake, lavishing this amount of money on a property in a foreign country. These folks have no shame. Demayour: Though some poets like writing their works in such a way that deciphering their messages is always difficult. But poetry captures in a page, what a novel will capture in 400 pages. And every issues of life, is best tossed about through poetry. Just compare the lines in every verse you see with the lyrics of a song, you'll understand it better. Are you a poet? |

No, he hasn't done anything wrong. Saint Buhari.
The Saint who banned medical tourism but yet went ahead to hibernate in London while inflation continues rising and wages are becoming valueless.
Election is over, no one cares about 2015. The real question is what has Buhari achieved in his 2 years so far? THAT is the key question. |

Paperwhite: That is ehen. That is blossom friend of mine that is a university graduate but that passionately believes that Buhari will make Nigeria Eldorado for him but alas! The guy is so frustrated today that he wish he can strangulate Buhari if he see him.Never have we seen any unprecedented hardship as being witnessed in recent times. Lol. Poor dude, I can imagine. Most people had high expectations for Buhari with the way he was packaged to Nigerians like a saviour aka new sheriff in town aka I am for nobody aka body odour. 2 years on, the harsh reality is staring people right in the face. The man is a huge disappointment. |

Even Buhari has lost his voice.
A man who had no plan for governance, yet was busy castigating the previous administration, forgetting karma is a right dam. Now he's on the hot seat and singing a different tune.
Shame. |

Politics › Re: Is It Right For President Buhari To Address The Nation In Hausa? by ephi123(f): 7:06pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
ivandragon: you should understand that there are presently 2 classes of Nigerians defending PMB on social media.
first are the educated few who are paid to defend him or have access to fringe benefits. most people in this group are those too lazy to do honest hard work & are hangers on.
the second group are the touts, illiterates & 'ne'er do wells' of society who thrive in the suffering & chaos because it gives them an excuse to exhibit their lack of reasoning & logic. after all, if the president can attain power with questionable qualifications then they have hope too.
for some of the dolts saying PMB's supposed message was for Muslims obviously don't understand Hausa or did not read the translated version.
PMB clearly referred to '... Christian brothers...' which means his speech is for all Nigerians (except maybe the traditionalists).
also, he spoke about unity in the country, so next time one of those clowns challenges you about how the speech was for Muslims, ask the dumbo if Muslims are the only ones 'unifying' Nigeria.
sometimes, its best to ignore PMB's ragtag supporters, most of them are no better than the hypocritical & bigot steeped president they purport to align with. Very true. I can see one of them right above ^^. No point engaging and wasting time on such people. |
