I'm not really suprised people in Nigeria consider this decision logical and best for the economy, because most of you don't really have an idea of what this means to the be students and families involved. As an international student I see and know first hand the daily struggles with this issue and the excuse for such decision is even more appalling. Lack of funds? I think they could have come up something better. My point is, while I don't expect Nigerians to be sad, I don't also expect supportive comments to the government either because decisions like this set the nation lite years behind. This students are being schooled in a developed nation with hope of returning and making use of their skill but no..."we cant lose our legal pocket money for that". God bless Nigeria sha
Btw those ranting about Nigerian guaduates being better than those schooled abroad, with all due respect to our educational system and to you, hope you know that another myth in Nigerian educational system?

Why are some Nigerians so bitter? Well from your view on this it's obvious that your are under informed. Focusing on your Argument that she is educated because she was called to go give a MOTIVATIONAL speech( because of how her life changed dramatically btw), I say firstly he logic if flawed and secondly go watch videos of the lady being interviewed. Nigerians learn to be positive minded and be happy for people regardless of anything!(IMO the girl is not too beautiful without the make and fine tuning) . If you want change adopt a positive attitude yourself.

Its rather amazing that people tend to disregard this messages from christ: yes 'it is appointed onto man to die once and face judgement' but people forget that Jesus said ' i will have mercy upon whom i will' because his God and cannot be partial. He also said in the last days he will release his spirit and old and young will have extraordinary spiritual experiences. Apart from abuse i'd say there is no any one way of correcting her. Some times a slow and quiet conversation is needed but it become irritable when overused and thats when the show of discontent or dissapointment(not compulsrily shouting but orally and body gesture ) should come in.
