i think that happens when u open a program and if the program is still busy and u open a new program or click on your desktop, the blinking or flashing is to remind or tell you that the program is now ready.

Thanks, I'm not sweting. Anyway, it's only on this computer. There is another computer that I use to view nairaland only(don't post from it) and I don't get the constant flash.
