What has SA government done to their people? Chai! R350 is roughly 30k naira. The drug cartels are sitting at the top of this food chain to collect these handouts. The money for the social grant will move from the taxpayers to their government to the poor to drug cartels. That's more resources for the cartel to wreck more havoc on the citizens. Omo!

Politics aside, I can feel the pain in his voice.

Their resources are what majorly sponsor this nation. Yet, past state and federal governments handled their development with negligence. They are like the butcher who only feeds on bones.

Something is terribly wrong with Obi. Even if you were clueless and naive pre-2023. After the election, you should have at least matured a bit ever since you gain prominence in national politics.

The SS as a whole is getting the first landmark developmental project from the federal government in like forever; something that will open up their creeks and riverine areas to the entire country for the first time in history. But the clueless ekuke Obi thinks it's smart to oppose it and keep saying the FG should stop it to focus on repairing old roads. Lol... Old roads that are already undergoing rehabilitation for that matter.

Obi is shortsighted, narrow minded, and a miser. If na so America hoarded their wealth in bank vaults instead of splashing them on national development, will they become what they are today? They spend more than $1T per annum on their military alone - that's just one sector.

He keeps hammering on development but still posture around saving. Very clueless and anyhow person. I wonder where he has ever seen development without investment. The China he always mention, did they become the global giant of manufacturing today by saving money in the banks?

His obidents always say SS is in the bag for them. Oya now 😂 Na this same Obi dem say Tinubu is afraid of? Someone who is personally dismantling his own chance at the presidential poll? 🤣🤣🤣 Abeg, lemme laugh like Davido 😂

Algeria has only played two games now.

They still have a game against Austria. They only need a draw to make qualification.

Senegal has qualified; worst case for them, they will grab the last ticket for the best losers. DR Congo can comfortably beat Uzbekistan to make four points. That will place Congo among the top 3rd place teams. Same with Algeria if the secure at least a draw.

Mind you Ghana with four points already will join this 3rd place teams if the lose to Croatia. If they draw, Croatia will join the top 3rd place teams with four points too.

All African teams can still make it sha. Na Algeria have serious work to do. They won't find it easy against Austria.

That's no excuse.

We can't continue this way.

If not that our founders who wrote the constitution get choco for head, how can the Federal government, as a single entity, secure the entire Nigeria? With our massive landmass, 36 states plus FCT, with over 200 tribes? How is it possible to secure Zamfara, Kogi, Kebbi, Niger Delta while some elements are planning to kidnap teachers and students in Oyo state with their massive forest reserves, some of which I'm just learning are larger than the entire Lagos state.

Every state hangs their insecurity issues on Abuja, as if the security commands in Abuja are Homelander and Superman or Spiderman. We've not even talked about the terror insurgencies that is being fought at the same time against boko haram, isis, etc.

Tinubu took the right step. Decentralization of our security architecture is the way to go.

Even the USA being the most powerful and richest country in the world doesn't use our system of national security. States handle their own security and Washington does oversight, while controlling the national Guards (alone with the states), Army, Navy, Air Force etc.

The matter of implementation of state police will go the same way as economic development. Some states will do rubbish and others like Lagos state and FCT will thrive and excel. Some will fund their state police adequately and become a model for the entire nation.

For states that mess up implementation, their citizens should hold their governors responsible. Any state that wishes can continue funding mass marriage and hajj, while neglecting their own security, it's no problem. The states with serious governments will emerge stronger and more attractive for local and foreign investments.

Maybe, just maybe this is the right trigger to open the consciousness of the citizen that's their state governments also have a responsibility to them. Na everything we look to Abuja for.

State governors who fail in securing their states, if their citizens like, they can reelect them. Like I said, the serious ones will progress massively. Secure states will become the Meccas of Nigeria.

I know for a fact that Lagos state already have their plan and are heading straight to implementation. And I know many states will only start planning as of right now. To each their own.

Let the Federal government concentrate on securing the border and taking the fight to those boko and isis boys.

Better days ahead.
