Foreign AffairsRe: South Africa Finalising Permanent R350 Monthly Grant For The Poor by EponObi(f):
This is not the solution to their problem.

Black S/Africans just entered a vicious circle, which may be very difficult to escape.

1. (No education, won't work because of laziness, entitlement, lack of exposure) led to

2. (Drug abuse, violence, high rate of crime, hate for foreigners) led to

3. (chasing foreigners out to "claim their jobs".) led to

4. (Entitlement, approval social grant aka government handout), which will lead to

5. More inflation and way more of (No education, won't work because of laziness, entitlement, lack of exposure), which will lead to

6. More of (Drug abuse, violence, high rate of crime) which will lead to

7. More (Dangers to foreigners) to

8. More (entitlement, more demand for government handout)

What has SA government done to their people? Chai! R350 is roughly 30k naira. The drug cartels are sitting at the top of this food chain to collect these handouts. The money for the social grant will move from the taxpayers to their government to the poor to drug cartels. That's more resources for the cartel to wreck more havoc on the citizens. Omo!

It's useless
People are upgrading in technology while Edo people's are still stuck backwards in stone age with culture, glorifying itself in a useless bronze that plays no economical impact in the society
Make we hear word jare.

The US, Japan, China, Russia still hold unto their culture and traditions, even though they are countries with the most technological advancement in the world.

PoliticsRe: Use Your Brain When Talking - Ijaw Man Slam Peter Obi And Obidients by EponObi(f):
Politics aside, I can feel the pain in his voice.

Their resources are what majorly sponsor this nation. Yet, past state and federal governments handled their development with negligence. They are like the butcher who only feeds on bones.

Something is terribly wrong with Obi. Even if you were clueless and naive pre-2023. After the election, you should have at least matured a bit ever since you gain prominence in national politics.

The SS as a whole is getting the first landmark developmental project from the federal government in like forever; something that will open up their creeks and riverine areas to the entire country for the first time in history. But the clueless ekuke Obi thinks it's smart to oppose it and keep saying the FG should stop it to focus on repairing old roads. Lol... Old roads that are already undergoing rehabilitation for that matter.

Obi is shortsighted, narrow minded, and a miser. If na so America hoarded their wealth in bank vaults instead of splashing them on national development, will they become what they are today? They spend more than $1T per annum on their military alone - that's just one sector.

He keeps hammering on development but still posture around saving. Very clueless and anyhow person. I wonder where he has ever seen development without investment. The China he always mention, did they become the global giant of manufacturing today by saving money in the banks?

His obidents always say SS is in the bag for them. Oya now 😂 Na this same Obi dem say Tinubu is afraid of? Someone who is personally dismantling his own chance at the presidential poll? 🤣🤣🤣 Abeg, lemme laugh like Davido 😂

Problem is the corruption and the loss of identity of Brazillian football (especially as more players move to Europe and lose their brazillian identity footballwise), and so forth is catching up in a way.

EVEN THEN, it is still the end of the first half. A lot can change in the second half. But damm, am old enough to remember when even Brazil team C would have thrashed Japan 5-0 without breaking a sweat.
Argentina nko wey all their players dey play in Europe? Messi plays in F'ing MLS. That's no excuse.

What a waste of generational talent. Vinicius wey suppose step up too no mature. Brazil just dey waste their potential.

Michaelmercy:
You obviously don’t know what you are saying Chief, you think it’s only Nigerians that watch his contents??

No matter how poor his YouTube is for example, his rpm can’t be less than $5. Imagine pulling 1 million views alone on a poor month.. not to talk of x, Facebook, IG ads, TikTok, etc. Perhaps that amount is even poor for a creator like him, because only him selling something on his social media can make him that comfortably (someone who has over 12 million followers across platform)
Even someone I personally know doing faceless YouTube channels gross above $20k monthly not to thank of Shank.
Is it not the same YouTube that even paid Pastor Jerry above 1 billion in a year?

You people should stop feigning ignorance on NL
Lmaooo... $5 per 1000 views? Lmaoooo

Abeg go and sit down for one place.

Even finance niche hardly command such payout here in Nigeria.

Na Aussies, Americans, and the French him dey create content for na. Lol

I checked your profile, you also create content on YouTube. Oya, let's see your dashboard. No need fugazi'ing us with some imaginary friend earning $20k per month on YT. Pastor Jerry can comfortably earn that, with his multiple daily streams, large global audience (keyword: global), and most especially his use of YT super chat feature - his audience pay for this.

grin I posted someone's video on FB and got 38k views. Do you know how much i made?
That's exactly why it's in a bubble.

The era of simply posting other people's content or creating content the same and manner as the majority to make money will be over sooner than later.
CelebritiesRe: "I Make $20,000 Every Month From Social Media" — Shank Reveals (video) by EponObi(f):
Lmaoooo. Oniro oshi.

How many platforms you get that you will generate that much as a Nigerian? If you are an American or your audience are Americans, I won't argue. Nigerians, and by extension Africans, as audience don't have much value in the advertising marketplace.

He should have also mentioned how much it costs him to create content monthly.

He's smart sha. Mention bogus figures on podcast to command more service fee.

I'm not denying that there's no money in content creation. There is. But make him dey lie small small.

That said, content creation is in a bubble. Over the coming years, the gains will rapidly depreciate. Simple supply and demand theory. It's already on a decline self. Today, everyone and their ancestors are bombarding Tiktok, X with contents to make the mulla 😂. If notice, the big fish have left skit making to enter streaming 😂. That one is not yet saturated; eventually, it will. If you are smart, make as much as you can, as soon as possible. That bubble go soon pop, just like the tech bubble of 2020.

As expected. They are gradually ushering a dystopian world. The global elites are telling you their plans for the world and there's nothing to stop them. As usual, only a very few people will pay attention.

The next few decades will be intriguing to see. If you think Cyberpunk is just a video game, think again. Get rich sha. Very rich. The poors will be f'ed in ways people can't imagine right now.

SportsRe: Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Thread by EponObi(f):
Algeria has only played two games now.

They still have a game against Austria. They only need a draw to make qualification.

Senegal has qualified; worst case for them, they will grab the last ticket for the best losers. DR Congo can comfortably beat Uzbekistan to make four points. That will place Congo among the top 3rd place teams. Same with Algeria if the secure at least a draw.

Mind you Ghana with four points already will join this 3rd place teams if the lose to Croatia. If they draw, Croatia will join the top 3rd place teams with four points too.

All African teams can still make it sha. Na Algeria have serious work to do. They won't find it easy against Austria.

Fingers crossed.

PoliticsRe: State Police Will Face Funding Crisis, Abuse By Governors — Balarabe Sule by EponObi(f):
That's no excuse.

We can't continue this way.

If not that our founders who wrote the constitution get choco for head, how can the Federal government, as a single entity, secure the entire Nigeria? With our massive landmass, 36 states plus FCT, with over 200 tribes? How is it possible to secure Zamfara, Kogi, Kebbi, Niger Delta while some elements are planning to kidnap teachers and students in Oyo state with their massive forest reserves, some of which I'm just learning are larger than the entire Lagos state.

Every state hangs their insecurity issues on Abuja, as if the security commands in Abuja are Homelander and Superman or Spiderman. We've not even talked about the terror insurgencies that is being fought at the same time against boko haram, isis, etc.

Tinubu took the right step. Decentralization of our security architecture is the way to go.

Even the USA being the most powerful and richest country in the world doesn't use our system of national security. States handle their own security and Washington does oversight, while controlling the national Guards (alone with the states), Army, Navy, Air Force etc.

The matter of implementation of state police will go the same way as economic development. Some states will do rubbish and others like Lagos state and FCT will thrive and excel. Some will fund their state police adequately and become a model for the entire nation.

For states that mess up implementation, their citizens should hold their governors responsible. Any state that wishes can continue funding mass marriage and hajj, while neglecting their own security, it's no problem. The states with serious governments will emerge stronger and more attractive for local and foreign investments.

Maybe, just maybe this is the right trigger to open the consciousness of the citizen that's their state governments also have a responsibility to them. Na everything we look to Abuja for.

State governors who fail in securing their states, if their citizens like, they can reelect them. Like I said, the serious ones will progress massively. Secure states will become the Meccas of Nigeria.

I know for a fact that Lagos state already have their plan and are heading straight to implementation. And I know many states will only start planning as of right now. To each their own.

Let the Federal government concentrate on securing the border and taking the fight to those boko and isis boys.

Better days ahead.

How big is this Oyo forest that a lot of crimes and atrocities are being done there freely?

Meth Lab, Oyo students and teachers kidnap, Fulani menance are all tied to this same reserve.

Why is it so difficult for Oyo state government to secure that critical zone?
