I have a question to ask, any reasonable person to reply?

How did they get the image of Jesus or Mary. Was their camera during that time? Or did they sit down for an artiste to draw them? And how do you know whether the person in the images or sculptures looks exactly like them, including the baby Jesus in the sculpture? Because I am reasoning that those images and sculptures are just an ordinary human being drawn and moulded by an artist? How will you see an image or sculpture and identify it as Jesus or Mary?
