My Elder Brother Is Considering Buying a Car.

Here are the cars on our Mind. We need a high ground clearance car because of the location we will be using the car to go to site and rough roads.

We are considering

Toyota Highlander and Toyota Rav4

One of the things in our Top considerations is

Fuel Economy
Easy to maintain and cost effective
Car that is not an easily criminal target and not too flashy
Most importantly, fuel travel.

My mum had 4 of us 2 of us were married before she passed on.

My dad remarried after a year... Despite we kids rebuffing and co.

Today we are all happy living.. the guy is living is life so we are.

Case two:
My wife's mum lost her husband over 22years now. And never remarried. With my wife being the first child, she calls my wife DAILY discussing things that don't interest us.... But interest her...
- Ooooh she has been made secretary to the women association in the village.
- how she got a set of new chicks and will rear dem till infinity.
I can go on and on... and this happens Everyday.
Best part is she flashes and we call.. and it goes for hours.
Point is she is obviously lonely as she stays alone in the building built by her husband in the village... All d kids are in Lagos chasing one thing or the other.
We practically have asked her self... Is any man not wooing u in the village.
Loneliness can lead to depression... So much though of.....

In you own stand think it thru....

You MAY underline MAY ... Never be there when she needed some one to talk to when u are married and seriously pursuing your career.

My point... Your GF was never out of place throwing such discussion.. only shows she have had a future in though which most ladies don't have.

I sure hope u too think of the future too.

If the spouse choses to remarry.

You wouldn't want your mum hanging on you as her pseudo hubby... Your future wife "May" not like it.

Truth be told when she is alone and your kids are all married, she will eventually get lonely...

I am talking from 1st hand experience. So also it looked odd but we know better now.

These buses have been here since over 2 decades...
I served in Ekiti and that was the major source of transport.. it was so cheap that I almost bought one.. but since the buses started operating viciously in Lagos like around 2012/13 and replacing the Likes of Vanagon danfo... The prices just went off the roof

I once used a Mazda 626. The one usually called Mazda booth.
Very very nice. Fuel consumption excellent. Price of spare part - Very cheap.
Handing - sweet. You get the feeling you are in a more expensive car.
I will pick it over a Toyota of the same year.
Infact if not for the fact that level has gone up a bit I won't mind owning the car again.

But those early mazda cars were the rock..

Nowadays the Mazda I see are more plastic interior which falls apart easily...
I don't know if it carelessness... Most pple with madza engine 2002/2007 complain of engine smoking so easily.
But..

My dad also owned a 1989 Mazda 626 while growing up.. it was rugged althrough with great fuel economy... 1k fuel and I will tour round Lagos. He eventually dashed his mechanic without my knowing. I was mad and even offered the mechanic money to buy it sef.
I used series of Mazda MPV03/05 and they served well.
Aside the leg arms issues I had... Car was a good..

Body has no filler tho...na one hand paint I do am ....d kind mildly accidented toks cars are flashed and still called first Body .....

That's why I called it first body...if first body means total factory paint,then very very few toks cars will be 'firsr body' because their body paints have been flashed due to scratches from shipping and even accidents in the abroad.

A car that can stay 20 years with first body....

It depends on the condition of the gear oil. So what I do is, I smell the oil from the dipstick. If it smells burnt, then I change it. If not I use it for about 6-7 months. Though I must say I don't drive everyday.

I use Honda Genuine fluid though I understand that there are cheaper ones that work well too.

Tgoit just reminded me that I have not serviced my gear over 1 year going to two years now

Is that the only hospital in Ikorodu? this is hospital that someone said she delivered there and all of them that delivered that day were through Cs. This is hospital people called in this morning to complain about on wazobiafm today.
