That's not a compressor issue most likely my former AC use to be like that till it even spoilt the compressor ND stopped getting cold

It's with other components like condenser filter expansion valve ND co meet a professional let them help u remove and flush the components especially the ones inside underneath the Compartment Box (Safe) in front of passenger seat doing all that can get the issue cleared off

If u don't do something about it most likely after some months the compressor will go coz it's finding it hard to work

Any recommendations...

I have similar issue on 09 corolla and 08 Elantra.... Elantra is even the worst

Camry rear setup is different from sienna. Sienna strut and springs are side by side, camry own is married together

Ok

It just occurred to me that there is no way the tyre setup will ever touch your strut they don't see eye to eye. Your issue is the spring is too small for the tyre so if your rear shocks are weak or you load the body too much the tyre will touch the car arch at any vibration.

You can confirm yourself, the sienna rear struts are under not at the sides like the front

Oga Nurey,

I did it on my last Camry drop light n it did touch the strut...(I had to google what the strut mean to reconfirm) n.yeap it was the strut.

In a bid to increase height I put 216/65 R15 n the back tires (when I bump) touches the strut but the front was ok.
Had to switch with a fellow stoplight that used 205/65 r15

So front n back tyres specs were diff

Two, maybe three choices
1. Stick with 20w50 till the engine packs up
2. Gradually shift over to proper oil so engine doesn't get clogged and knock
3. Have engine taken apart to check for sludge, cleaned if necessary then use proper oil (my personal favorite choice)

Engine was recently taken apart in December during a change of flywheel.
Total interior was cleaned

See below. 0w20 will give you the best fuel economy. Hopefully they haven't been using 20w50 before.

Email support in my signature for quote please.

And if hopefully was not the case.... As in if 20W50 was used.

[Please am about to get either of this 2 vehicles (Opel Zafira or Mazda MPV) for commercial transport.
Kindly advice me on the best for the business among the 2 (Opel Zafira and Mazda MPV) and which year make is best as well?
Thanks.

Thinks Opel is also a good car... Only smaller in size.
The 3 row seat will not conveniently take 3 persons like the MPV.

I do wonder why it's no common with transporters

But u can make more findings though

Personally I prefer auto transmission. Is it advisable, considering it's going for transportation?
Again, I heard the 2000 model engine ain't as powerful as the 2002 to 05 models. Is it true?

Auto transmission for me was ok... Just dat you may not find such with 4plug engine.

2002/3 to 2006/6 model engine we made in conjunction with ford... They are with timing chain and 5speed auto transmission unlike the 1999 2001 model that came with timing belt and 4 speed transmission.

Driving the higher model 2003-2006 ... U get that ease as the 5th gear gives the engine such ease.

Chai ... I miss my MPV oo embarassed

Hello bro. Kindly give us a general idea of the price, possibly with the year and generic pictures from the internet.

Thanks bro

I have never bought a toks o... I buy Nigeria used the models between 2003 and 2005...
Price varies due to the soundness of engine and body..

Most of my purchases had one or two fixes.. but I don't buy if it has any engine or gear issues...
Major issue I fix is the beam... 35k dem and roughly 5k for workmanship, brake oil etc

If you check my profile you see them all as I also sold dem all..

I use dem for approximately a year and sell off.

I buy Nigeria. Used .. do fixes and use and sell off. I have always made a slight profit in all sales so I don't use dem for long save for the last one I used for two years to avoid Lagos drivers gbas gbos...
Engine has never given me issue neither gear... I rarely use ac. Cos the back windows wind down and that was my essence of getting a MPV over the 2000/2002 sienna

Interestingly one of my buyers is a younger brother to my current landlord wife.... He bought the very first MPV I sold in 2005 and he is still using it till date.

I also make use of dedicated MPV mechanics here in Ikorodu...
MPV is a common transport vehicle from Ikorodu to ijebu ode.. Ikorodu to Epe so dey have the dedicated MPV mechanics here.

For toks ...it could range between 1.5/1.8...

If you have to go for commercial... I will not recommend the 04/05 model.. it is more of curvy and fancy-full In shape... It's is not as sturdy as the lower models

Thanks very much brother.
Are u using yours for transportation or private? What is your general assessment and advice to intending buyer?

I used mine for "semi- private"...

From 2005- mid 2009.... On my way to work I pick pple along the road and on my way back too....

I was working 9-5 den..

Now I'm into Uber ... Use a corolla .. person dat bought the last MPV I used took it to owerri

If you want to use it for transport...
1: get a toks
2: depending on your choice sha u can get the manual gear 4 cylinder... (Although I used the auto gear 6 cylinders all through)
Gear never gave me an issue for a day... In fact I never service gear for over a year and it kept running.
Only issue I had with it was the arm.... My road in Ikorodu is very bad.. coupled with the fact that I bought them all nigerian used

I got your point. But will the extra spring help to protect the beam from breaking?
I'm asking cos I'm considering buying this car for commercial use. I've used 2004 Sienna. I don't see any special thing with Sienna. After 8months of use, the engine started smoking and consuming 1litre of oil for every 4hrs drive. I'm thinking of changing d engine and selling it.
I'm seriously considering this MPV since it's cheaper to maintain

No... Best it can do is lift the back which is also a plus because that back bumper when fully loaded can touch the floor on bad road and breaks easily... So raising it helps too

Scenario of how the beam breaks.

If u are over loaded and u gallop( like hump bumps) or hit a deep pothole during speed... You can likely have the beam break....
Not it does not break into two at once ... So I might still have the grace to manage till your destination.

I have used one with a broken beam from Osogbo to Ikorodu
Autos / Re: Would You Advice Me To Buy A Mazda Mpv As My First Car. by eRex(m): 4:29pm On Mar 11, 2020
jpride:

What about adding extra spring? Does that help?

Yes and no..

Yes cos it will lift it up for commercial purposes... MPV is normal soft with spring on the back which gives its smooth shock absorbing mechanism...

The "no" part of it is cos once u increase spring.. it becomes sturdy when u get on bad/ not smooth road. U won't enjoy the shocks especially when the back is empty

same with mine (not showing) Though the manual shows that the oil indicator light will buzz when it is low or not pumping.
Maybe American spec might have it.

The American spec has it o.
I practically went to the mech to check it out.. he directed me to a rewire.

I even started asking other drivers with similar dashboard.. they all said it shows ... Oya show me naw... Dey will not find it again..(maybe they were not taking note)

remove the catalytic converter, the engine ecu is not designed to look for it in South Africa midels

Wow... Why do those guys at ladipo decide to sell at a whopping sum of 150/200k

Well I noticed d consumption wasn't different after the change but what I was trying to combat was the sound... The mufler port just right after the catalyst was gone and d sound was so loud. I will snap the one I removed in the morning.

Honestly, I can't say. Maybe, poor aesthetics and not enough airbag. I think only front airbag.

If you r a careful driver, it will serve u well. Cos I have seen American specs with peeling interiors(even to Nissan, Lexus, Honda accord, camry).

Mine has been serving me since 2008, though bought new, it is still firing at 210k(km). No engine work. I will soon fire it to lag again

I have a used one..
Though I did some works on it..
Currently using it for uber and taxify

Only issue I have is the catalyst was stolen so I bought the improvised one.
The car lacks power... All those 04/07 Corolla usually dust me on take off..

Otherwise I like it

I think there should be a general rule before putting up defaulting riders numbers for call-to-shame.

This is my guided opinion..

Give at least 24hours grace: this should be enough for you to asertian if the rider is willing or not willing to pay. For heaven sake, it is the drivers right and he is entitled to either receive his money or receive and explanation from the rider why his money is being delayed. Driver should also have tried to contact the debtor to see asertian the delay in payment or the intentions of the rider.

Stupid reasons like :
-I can only send to a particular bank/account. You should have said that from the start and I will either consent or decline of it suits
-i am very busy now and will do it later (please was your ride delayed?)
- I am waiting for a price review. (Ok what if it was the other way round and the driver wants a price review, will they wait).

And several others should not be entertained abeg.

Let not make riders do this to one as they will spread it to others.

Just the way ehailing are purging out wrong drivers wrong riders should also be discourage from using bolt else it will become a norm and riders will start owing passenger in the notion of I did it to your colleagues and he did not talk.

On Friday night, I go an order from a guy in an estate, he wanted to ship over 20 girls to a club not too far from the estate.
As I arrived he to them to enter in batches of 6 to save time.
As 2 in front and 4 in back.
Before I knew it, I have blasted them "I ONLY PICK 4 Persons"
One of the girls rudely just interrupted when taxify driver start to dey do yanga.

Promptly, I told her Get the hell down. my English was so posh the dey all went silent.

My point is: she must have been encountering drivers that take shit.

Me I don't have time for unruly riders,

Order a car and first husky voice u will hear ....
Where are u?..... cum fast?... Shoir ... Oya lie down now.... As Na u buy car gimme
