Hi,

You can't pick a date because the date you are selecting is fully booked.

You would have to select further dates, if it opens, then it means it is still available for booking.

How did you pick the date? I couldn't pick a date on their site. Or did they give you the date?

If it is the normal date, on an average, how long will I have to wait?

What @Giselle237 is trying to say is that if you read through the thread (Ist page) you will get your answer to this particular question and won't bother about hearsays.

If you need a direct answer to your question then you are correct. Your POF should include your maintenance and balance of your tuition.

I have read the front page a lot of times as well as the UK gov website, however its also nice to get direct feedback from people who have gone through the process and have a clear view of the process. I believe that's what the trend was created for.

From my understanding, POF for visa includes maintenance fee and tuition balance right?

Someone told me that it includes full tuition even though deposit has been paid.

Yes go ahead! Deposit/withdraw between 5k to say 50k every 2days. But don't eat into the POF!

It's a savings joint account. I and my husband usually just deposit funds once a month after we receive our salaries or certain business deposits. We don't use the account for our day to day transactions.

I heard that it's important to keep the account busy with withdrawals and deposits during the POF period and I wanted to clarify.

1. I would advise you add more documents to show proof of relationship/marriage. The POF already serves one purpose. Bills paid together, investment, hospital letters etc can suffice and should be verifiable

2.Study gap of more than 5years will need an evidence.Perharps the testimonials you have seen were for study gaps that are less than 5years

3.Upload the ref letter only since he didn't complete his master's

1. I and my husband have a joint account which we intend to us for POF for both him (MA) and me (DP). Would this also serve as proof of relationship alongside wedding cert and photos? And do we need to write any consent letter?

2. Is study gap evidence compulsory? I see some visa testimonials and I don't see study gap as uploaded documents.

3. If study gap is compulsory, MA finished university in 2016, did NYSC in 2017 and started his masters in the same university in 2017. Unfortunately, masters has not been completed till 2023 because the school is extremely slow and nonchalant. He started working in 2021 till date and can get a reference letter from his company. My question is, should he upload his masters offer letter or just disregard it since he doesn't have a certificate yet and since the course he is planning to study in the UK is totally different?

4. Also, he didn't work between 2017 and 2021 cause of the masters, would it be okay to leave that space blank if he doesnt upload his masters offer letter?

I know my questions are bulky but please help.

Thanks for the great work with providing answers. Please I have a couple of questions:

1. Is it compulsory for a wife dependant to do a change of name before applying for visa? If yes, would she also need to change name in her passport? Or the affidavit and newspaper report would suffice?

2. Can the MA and Dependant use the same account for POF with the total required amount? In this case, it's a joint account.

3. Does the MA need to provide original copy of his transcript for visa application? He currently has the student copy which he used to get admission.

The different between the rich and common man is just time, most of this rich people does what common man does but in a classy way.

I actually am a very similar case. When my dad came back I was about 17 and my mum actually told me the whole story and gave me the option to deciding what I wanted. It wasn't easy, it was a lot of emotional trauma but I had to forgive and accept my dad because honestly, life is too short to keep carrying over mistakes.

I honestly feel loads better by letting all the negative energy melt away.
