I remember the stampede that took place in ikeja when they went to collect rice and people died in the process. What an awkward mentality from a wicked leader.

Mahmud and all other corrupt Nigerians who connived with this man to forcefully take power will be visited with God's judgement. This I know.

When a leader is duly elected, he listens to the public and cares for them but when he forced himself there, he gives no hoots.

Funnily, some of them go begging in this same forum, as we have the receipt of their account number and the details of their real names and address but turn around to hail their oppressors and maligning people for standing up for their legal right to air their views. Someone like '' only playing party politics because in his inner mind he knows the country is not moving in the direction he desires but prefer to play along instead of being principled and stand by the truth. We were both strong supporter of Buhari but as soon as I see the trajectory Buhari was going, I backed out from supporting him for the love of my country but he could not for party politics.
All these people need early morning knocks on their heads to wake them up and another one at the night to lead them to sleep. They are unpatriotic elements we have on this forum and they think they are patriotic.

You've said it all. I also supported buhari in his first term in office, even campaigned for him openly. The moment I saw that he had nothing to offer, I backed off kiakia. A retired general who couldn't nip insecurity in the bud. Just imagine.

By the way, God forbid that I respond to anyone asking for money on nairaland again. They don't deserve emphaty. I shouted and shouted. Instead, they called me unprintable names and I suddenly became ibo, just because I support PO, a LP candidate of Igbo extraction. That's how dumb they can be. One penny, I no dey give again. They need to be taught a lesson. Leadership is devoid of tribalism.

If God didn't put you in a position but you forced yourself there, you should face the consequences. It's just that the masses are always at the receiving end. Tinubu will be the worst president in the Nigeria's history.

No place like home..ask me wey school for America. I'd lecture you on why home is the best. Though I live here and have my business here, I can enter any country I like at the tip of my fingers and still enjoy all the benefits , if not more...that those in the diaspora do enjoy. Amazingly, I hardly see them in fun places everywhere I go, unlike whites whom you'd see at Disney land in large folds. They're busy working their heart out cos bills keep mounting. Recently I saw one of my friends adding chicken grilling business to his hustle. I visited another, each time he gets home, before you say welcome back, he's hit the bed, snoring.

I pray God opens their eyes to see the opportunities the likes of Chinese and Indians see here which make them to keep coming to milk us. Only then would they see reasons to return home. They always prefer to send money to visiting home. Once they calculate that flight ticket, they change their minds whereas, a white man can travel to see family multiple times in a year.

On your first point, so if Buhari says I want to use your refinery as part of my achievement so, let's commission it even though it's not yet completed, would he have objected? Answer tbat as a Nigerian who understands the political terrains.

Secondly, if you borrowed money for whatever reasons, does it matter where you get the money from, to have it liquidated? Dangote had investments outside Nigeria which you and I know. I doubt you are also aware he imports his cement from his plants located outside Nigeria to complement the Inadequate local supplies. He even made it clearly known, where he got the refund from, even though the refineries had not been in its full operation capacity.

I only agree with you that dangote, just like other Nigerian businessmen isn't spared from some sharp practices but that doesn't validate the topic in question.

Did you ever ask buhari and emefiele who rushed and commissioned dangote refineries still under construction so it would count as their administration's track record or achievement? Was it dangote who asked them to do that? The loan nnpc granted to dangote is almost liquidated which nnpc wasn't happy about. They thought they could use tnat to hold the man perpetually but he's smarter.

Dangote walks his talk and he's one of the honest Nigerians I've seen. He'd never tell you what he can't do and doesn't meddle in politics. He's always neutral. He'd only support them as a businessman. Which of his products can you say is fake before the refineries came? Most of his cement were imported for sale in Nigeria at a time when nigerian plants couldn't cope. Did they say they were substandard. Had dangote done their bidding, even if his fuel is killing everyone, they'd say its the best. When bad petrol was imported a few months ago and Nigerians reacted, nnpc said they'd investigate...can you investigate your wilful character? That's why nothing has been heard till now about the investigation.

I support dangote 100%. He should keep bursting their bubbles. For months after commissioning, nnpc refused to supply him crude and he went to the usa to buy. There's nothing they didn't do to frustrate this man. May they keep failing.

I know nnpc and Co aren't happy. They just want to de-market him at all cost. Dangote will burst more of their bubbles soon. This is why competition is good. Isn't it worrisome that none of our refineries is allowed to work? Sell them off, but you refused. You keep doing TAM. The last one cost over 2bn usd under buhari with no results. Now it's Tinubu's time to use same TAM to embezzle. Those supporting these criminals need to have their heads checked seriously.

They've set the deadlines for the phc refineries kick off, up to 3 times now under tinubu yet, no single operation has taken place there. But when you visit the creeks, you'd see them refining diesel illegally. Instead of legalising it by granting them the licence needed to operate a modular refinery with financial support, since you've failed the nation, you keep destroying them. I remember when we went to work in the riverine areas years back, we used to use the diesel produced by these make-shift refineries because we couldn't gain access to diesel in towns nearby. The quality was so great, wondering if it cost an arm and a leg to fix an already existing refinery or to refine diesel.

I'm not a tribalist and i've worked with all the tribes. A tribalist is an isolated and retarded man or woman. Its a very bad mentality. Only fools and poor people fight over tribes. The head of technical dept in my company is ibo from Urata in Imo state. We've travelled abroad together for training several times. One of his kinsmen even told me to have him sign a bond, that he may run away but I refused. It's been 12 years since he joined us and has never run away.

The larger percentage who contributed to Tinubu's loss in lagos were yorubas. I'm from alimosho, the largest LG in Nigeria by population, where yorubas constitute about 91% of the entire population, we didn't vote tinubu. Remember he lost in Osun state too. In the remaining Yoruba states where he lost, he bribed his way thru. Ekiti people protested after they declared tinubu winner in the state. They said they didn't vote him.

If you like , call me chukudi, ko kan aye. Only a fool will compare Anambra or Abia or whatever with lagos, a cosmopolitan city in terms of population and revenue generation. I live in alimosho. Our population alone will swallow up that of Anambra and abia.

That said, over 50% of investments in Lagos are owned by ibo. You may disagree but take a look at it from those in charge of hospitality business in lagos. A large percentage of hotels here are owned by them, likewise household wares products. Go to Coker, Odunade, trade fair, alaba...90% of shop owners selling them are ibo. In banking, they own some of the leading banks here, you know already. What of spare parts, na dem. Who pay a higher percentage as tax to lagos government, them of course. They are leaders in pharmaceuticals too.

We will not realise all these facts until Nigeria finally breaks up. I don't know your age but if you were grown up during June 12 election annulment protest, when almost all of them were called home, you'd have an idea what I'm talking about. Everywhere was desolate. Lagos looked like a ghost town cos we couldn't see things to buy. Protesters were seen breaking their shops they left behind and looting. That was the only protest in Nigeria, which tribalists didn't link to ibo. Life returned after normalcy was restored. That's why I always encourage youths amongst us to begin learning what we may lack once Nigeria breaks up cos it won't be funny.

They blindly ignored the viral video of our youths swimming inside the oba akiolu's palace's pool, enjoying themselves after carting away his dollars stashed inside coffin and acussed ibos of staging the protest

Give an ibo man the chance to rule for just 4 years and see what alot of you have been blinded from seeing cos of tribalism. Now that it's our turn, what have we made of it? Any protests that erupt in Nigeria is always linked to ibo. That's inhumanity against man. Let them go, una refuse. Please if you're ibo, don't join that protest before haters begin burning down your investments.

Staying away doesn't make you cowards cos I know you're not cowards. Stay in your homes and allow those who caused us this mess to stage the protest alone. We warned them. They say you're tribalists but you voted obasanjo twice, even when we abandoned him in his first term in office.

Was in DC around October last year, it’s like 3hr15mins drive from Virginai beach VA to DC. The White House looks small in person but in movies its usually massive. DC is very beautiful lots of mighty government buildings, museums a well planned city. I’ve made lots of trips with the last 8months from US to Europe to Middle East , London, Belgium, kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman. Cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, fujairah. Tons and tons of pics and stories to share but will take too much time. OP enjoy your time in DC🤗

Depending on the route you take, you could get to DC in 2hrs and a few minutes from Virginia. Or did you mean West Virginia? Maryland and West Virginia are also near DC. I always prefer getting to DC via Baltimore cos flight is way cheaper than when you enter via Washington Dulles. DC and historic buildings, nice place wink

Flight attendants think themselves to be God because they fly in the air.

Airline staff, even the ones on the ground, need a new orientation on how they engage their patrons.

Not even only that. I don't have the time of all the nairaland's Trump's almanjiris in arguing anymore, those who aren't even eligible to travel to America talkless of voting their hero. Whites really misbehaved during Trump's era. We could also see how the white police acted on blacks .

FBI agents detained Denver Broncos Hall of Fame running back Terrell Davis over the weekend after an incident during a United Airlines flight from Denver to John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California.
Davis explained the situation on social media after he was released, saying that he was "stunned" by what happened. He said he tapped a flight attendant on the arm to help with a request from his son, who was sitting next to him, and the flight attendant acted in what Davis said was a "rude" manner.
A statement released by the FBI's Los Angeles office didn't identify Davis by name, but said their agents and local police in Orange County "responded to a report about an incident that had occurred aboard a flight which required further investigation." The statement said the person who was detained "was cooperative with law enforcement and was released to continue his travels."
Davis said he was "in shock over the traumatizing events." He said he was traveling with his wife, two sons and daughter.

Davis became a businessman after retiring from the NFL in 2001. He is a partner in financial firm Alpha 1.

Metropolitan State University of Denver marketing senior lecturer Darrin Duber-Smith said he didn't "really see any long-term impact on Terrell or what he's doing."

It's not yet time, they're still warming up. By the time it hits those suffering and smiling supporters of Tinubu, protest proper will start. Recently,I was surprised, one woman who's the NLC leader in Lagos, who wore labour union cap and t-shirt, staging solidarity support for tinubu last year, when I saw her openly protesting against Tinubu's refusal to welcome their demands, I was like, has the 10k they shared last year finished already?

You dumped the party which you and your fellows formed in order to champion a course for the betterment of your children who are in the universities and the Nigerian workers at large, for 5 Kongo of rice with 10k, no be stupidity be that? Protest is yet to start. You're still seeing gari drink.

Tinubu said he'd change the scenario, did he? He said he's bring a renewed hope, has he? He said apc slogan is change, did we see any change? They only became worse. My post was not hypocritical. Its a fact. When you say you want to wash a dirty linen but you're adding to the dirt what does that mean? People must talk to remind him. Min wage has been on the table for months but the senate didn't act so quickly to address it and the hunger in the land, same way they sacked ndume who said tinubu must do something. Is that not anti masses?

That said, my point is, what ndume was punished for, should be the main discourse and not about how he planted his children in government offices. It's out of the point. If that's what he's being accused of and why he was sacked, which all of them are also guiity of, then it becomes a relevant topic. Complaining of the poverty in the land isn't enough to sack him. It's the reality on ground. Talking about putting his children in nnpc or whatever is a digression.

If a democrat senator says Biden's policy isn't good, they'd not sack him. They'd rather do the needful. It's a different ball game here, which is why we must set ourselves free. These guys are slave drivers destroying Nigeria.
