blacknp:It's not bad if you spend a minute just to read the news piece first before dropping a comment nah |
Tinubu kęę. He can only grow propaganda oo. Nothing for baba brain. Na we sabi am pass for lagos ![]() Another thing he's known for is greed. He loves amassing so much health to himself. How can a president award such a national project as coastal highway to his company alone? What happened to JB, RCC and co? He's not even right to do that as president in the first place. He left to contest and filled his position with his son in the construction company. Nigerians where are your heads? I hope the next president wouid do the needful like emefiele is being handled now. |
Raskimonojendor:When we say, run away from lustful lifestyle, e get why. This lifestyle has been falling great men from time immemorial. Discipline is key. .very key...I really pity him |
YoungLionken:100% |
Beautifulday:That's the effect. Kimberley will sack, their distributors will sack, retailers will also sack. Tinubu's policy is anti People. History will remember him for his clueless governance |

Love800:Who said people aren't going there? The majority of modern houses built there in recent times are owned by Nigerians, mainly from Northern Nigeria. Niger is more peaceful than norther Nigeria. The pocket of attacks caused by ISIL has been curtailed. Suffice it to say, I have a good business partner in Niger so I get facts from him, contrary to what we hear on the telly. Even when they removed their president, he told me the reason, contrary to what the Nigerian government and the media were saying back then. Our government didn't want to tell us the fact, so the same fate of removing them from office wont befall them, when known.. Please see the screen shot of my WhatsApp conversation with him when this happened(below). When buhari said he would relocate to niger republic on retirement, people thought he was joking. Remember abdulrasheed maina, who ran to Niger to escape justice over the fraud he committed? Niger is fast developing but they're not making noise, likewise other African countries. Our country is such a joke and no thanks to our super corrupt and wicked leaders who always formulate policies to their advantage and at 5he expense of the masses. . Gd evening.

UselessBuharist:is it their fault? I always blame those who keep voting them. Na dem give these people mouth. Akume ran benue aground, once upon a time. He's Tinubu's mate as governor |
Blazetrailer:Yea, the devaluation of the naira ought to have been subjected to public debate. Nobody has a monopoly of knowledge. He messed up big time. It would take years before Nigeria would get out of it, even if the policy is reversed tonight . Only a wicked leader would remove subsidy and float the naira same time the way he did. Instead of Angolato learn from being the giants of Africa we used to be know for, they moved on with a better plan for their people. Subsidy was removed but gradually. I'm not sure the 2nd stage of their subsidy removal has taken effect already. Even before Angola removed the first stage of subsidy, they had already provided enough palliatives. Tinubu came and unleashed suffering on the masses. Too bad. Even if it was Buhari's doing, why not pass a supplementary budget and delay it for 6 months before implementation, use the supplementary budget to provide enough palliatives before removing subsidy.? Sadly, subsidy payment is back |
l still don't know the rational behind this nonsense |
richiemcgold:That's a fact. Cotonou people would willingly leave their children in the hands of Nigerians as maids. They knew by the time they returned, they'd be in money. Check it, how many homes do you find them nowadays? Is it not a couple wey don belle full go employ maids? That tells you Nigeria is failing as a state. Naira has lost its value...who caused all these, our bad leaders. Its not healthy when citizens are leaving their countries in droves as if there's civil war. I love Nigeria and Nigerians. But each time I try to educate sone blind folks, they hit me back as if it's not same country we're in. Cos of Tinubu's bad policy, I lost several millions of naira. The so called big and mighty aren't spared by this greatest blunder made by Tinubu. I call him a jaujau leader for a reason. He doesn't think before acting and that's why we voted him out in lagos. We know him better but they called us names, bastardss, ingrates, etc...who doesn't know his father? Wondering if Tinubu is everyone's dad. Are you aware that niger Republic also has a functional refinery? Shame on our leaders. We used to import our cooking gas from them. The moment junta took over and ecowas closed the border, they too stopped shipping cooking gas to us and price of gas soared. This was the truth that was hard to tell Nigerians. What of food? Niger was our main source of our meat, beans, onions and potatoes supply. Did you hear of them dying of hunger despite the sanctions? They had enough and beans got wasted at the border cos truckloads of beans couldn't enter Nigeria. When they reeled out their usual propaganda that trucks with food were seized by military at the Niger boarder as they were making their way into niger Republic by smughkers, I was just laughing, I said the government of propaganda had started again. Tinubu shouldn't have reopened the border now, if Nigerians wouldn't be dying on the streets of hunger. God loves us but we chose to hate ourselves by always voting the wrong people out of sentiments. |
Racoon:Good governance and consistency made it happen. Nigerians are too weak and bias to make the kind of sacrifice Ghana made. Jerry rawlings bravery came to mind. Like I said in my previous comment, if I should say openly here what our leaders deserve, including those jobless national assembly members who get the highest pay in the world for doing nothing, nairaland mods could ban me perpetually. We will soon get to that point. |
rebdisir:I've said it severally here that Nigeria is only African giants by population. If you check some African countries' GDP and how several of them have feared in the past decade without making noise, you'd weep for Nigeria. They don't copy us anymore. What exactly can they even copy? Is it good governance, free and fair elections, integrity? Nothing to copy. They think they're the only ones who love Nigeria but they are the enemies of same, by spreading propaganda. Bismack used to be government praise singer. Now that he's come out for the first time to say the truth, then it seems to me his conscience is awake and emancipated. Imagine ordinary Benin Republic, cfa is much stronger than naira now. They make huge sums from tourism alone . Go there and see Canadians, Americans, etc who are mainly tourists, walking freely. Tourism is the easiest way any country can strengthen its currency. They don't go back with the dollars they came with Tourists would come and dump it in your country. Insecurity everywhere, caused ny same people we call leaders, is enough to chase tourists away from us To proof the apc has set Nigeria aback by 50 years, they kuku reverted to the national anthem introduced several decades ago. If I tell you what's on my mind right now on the national assembly members who get fattest salary in the world by doing nothing, the Nairaland mods will ban me for life. When the time is ripe, we will be the ones to set ourselves free from those using the masses' lives to play ludo. |
AngelicBeing:You may be right |
The kidnap of her dad must have taken place in Abuja, the most secure place in Nigeria. Most of our leaders won't near heaven's gate. RIP lil omoluabi |
She woke up late. Better be awake than never. Congratulations! |
Carazon:He left our refineries in good , functional shapes as military head of state. All of them were working and well managed so, no need to privatise. |
Obj. May you end well. Baba had proferred a lasting solution to these moribund refineries , long ago. Privatize them, na lie. They just want to keep stealing from Nigerians all in the name of TAM. Allow a competent leader take over, you'd not allow that. There are much older refineries in the west that are still functional due to proper maintaining and accountability. Amazingly, they would refine and sell petrol to us. Nigerian government's maintenance culture is -1% We too dey make noise for Nigeria. I doubt people know that Niger Republic has a functional refinery |
BossGerald:Those areas are mainly old settlements which constituted the larger part of the city when it was termed the largest city on Africa. Those historic, brown roof buildings were built when about 90% of houses in Nigeria were covered with bamboo. Ibadan was the lagos of the generations past. I wish they could keep those brown roofed buildings for much longer a time for the sake of history. Most of those houses aren't occupied by many. Some are locked up. The new generations had moved to the new settlements. Hardly would you see an Ibadan rich man or woman living in them. They've moved to the new settlements whilst they still maintain their forebears' edifices. |
press9jatv:No cap |
82man:This is just the beginning. I watched on TVC news 2 days ago where a man, who also supported the evil party from his statement came to report some heinous and barbaric activities of doctors in a particular government hospital in lagos to journalists. He said his wife was to give birth so he took her to a hospital, she was induced for hours but the baby didn't come. Later the whole pregnancy developed complications, the placenta got ruptured and both the mother and child died. Those doctors, after knowing the gravity and implications of their carelessness, removed the woman's uterus to prevent them from being fingered in any autopsy report. The man is seriously groaning, seeking justice and I pray he gets one. Had we a sensible leader, would that have happened? Qualified doctors have left Nigeria and the same are their consultants abroad when they go there to treat ordinary ear infection. This administration will finish Nigeria with propaganda, God forbid The masses will enjoy true dividend of democracy only when they stop being stooges to these political moneybags, all in the name of sentiments and bigotry, those who don't care of their existence. I'm sure if the poor man had enough money, he'd have taken that woman to a private hospital. Visit lagos general hospitals. All you'd see is people in uniform going up and down doing nothing. The population is even more than patients in some wards. No single equipment but glorified buildings. The level of corruption is so high. |
EMXTAN1:It's well bro. That's the wish of every average hardworking but jobless Nigerian youth. Sadly, its about man-no-man. They don't even advertise government jobs anymore. You can see the way tinubu-led administration is sacking at the CBN presently. Don't think those sacked wouldn't be replaced with their own children and that of their friends. It's simply a vendetta mission they're on, not because they want to cut cost. They want to remove the hands of some perceived political enemies within the party, who produced those they sacked, including those emefiele brought in. They're simply playing opposition within same ruling party. I've never seen a thing like this nonsense before. You'd be shocked that in the end, double the number of those sacked will be employed. After all, its a national cake. Chop make I chop levels. If the government is truly serious about cutting cost, fighting corruption and creating jobs, believe me they know what to do and where to start from but they'd never do that. How can you create more ministeries in a distressed economy like Nigeria? Is that more important than appointing Nigerian envoys? What of the fat allowances paid to the NA members for saying hais and nays and passing useless bills like reversing the national anthem? The masses should just stop being deceived, even if na juju dey work on them make them pray to God for emancipation . They keep making same mistake again and again every 4 years and they keep suffering needlessly. |
Essentialbrand:As you can see. People are suffering needlessly. If only Nigerians could jettison tribalism and bigotry of sorts, this country will witness meaningful progress. The people they support are only after their picket, they don't care about them. When I read last night that we don't even have ambassadors, talkless of appointing them, because there's no money to pay them. I was shocked below my belt. In each country, an ambassador keys into any information that would bring about cooperation economically in their home country, follow up on them till the investment opportunity clicks. They won't come to Nigeria directly and invest most times unless we make that move. I was invited by the ambassador of one of the European countries recently to a dinner. We were less than 40 invited nationwide. It was a great event. They showed us some leading manufacturers in their country in a power point presentation and how Nigerians could leverage on them. Reps from the federal ministries came as well. It was a gathering of the big and mighty in which I felt so honoured. These are the similar opportunities we can leverage on, through our ambassadors. Nigerian ambassadors too in their various mission posts could sell Nigeria to their hosts in the areas of agriculture, minieral resources, etc. Sadly by the time they're ready to appoint,it's still same associates of theirs, who are super corrupt people, that would be appointed, those who would be posted to Europe but will always operate from their maitama residents. The masses should just reason with their senses . |
But they don't lack estacodes each time they flock into a registered economic programmes overseas |
Ningi doesn't appear to give a damn, neither did he lobby his return. He remains the hero of democracy. I don't see him change. He will rather spill more beans |
vanbonattel:Or who tricked him into that place you meant? Someone was occupying that seat when he took over in excitement without asking his conscience if it was right or wrong. The owner has come back to retain his position |
What does the Jaujau man know? When his blind supporters were hiping him during elections, after deceiving them he was the one who made lagos, claiming the glory of all his predecessors and his successors as his, including our street that we tarred with asphalt and the transformer we jointly bought and erected in our CDA, I told them they'd soon see the real tinubu and his weaknesses. His loss in same Lagos which he claimed to be a case study was enough proof he doesn't measure up. Who propaganda epp? In lagos, you could tell some lies and your men would cover you up. Nigeria is bigger than lagos. Before you sneezed, you're already noticed. Your lies can't be covered for too long |
senatordave1:Says a Kano man |
Brendaniel:Stop wasting your time on Beautifulday. You should know commonsense isn't truly common from his posts. He's one of those youths we've been talking about. I hope you know what I mean. Nigerians need a thorough sanitation of brain |
Christistruth00:Who are these northern lawyers who want to intervene in the kano state's laws and affairs? Are they all kano state indigenes? Is emir of kano emir of the entire North? Lol. sponsored northern unprofessional lawyers |
LordIsaac:Yes. A good reason their cut off point is always very high. It's for the selected best from among others |
