ednut1:I'm telling you. Village people could be responsible. Many people don't know they're trailing them wherever they go. That's why man must always pray. Last week during my visit to a friend in new york, he told me one man from Nigeria was arrested at the POE because he trafficked a child. The CBP were seeing the child but the man in question couldn't. He swore by everything he knew but they didn't listen to him. After he was handcuffed and taken away, the child disappeared from the room where he was kept ![]() Another one which happened to someone I know very closely...he got to POE, the CBP said he was carrying a passport which didn't have his face on it. This guy went to the US embassy for his visa himself. I drove him there that day It's a long time now. His visa was approved and he travelled to America. In short, he was taken away for secondary inspection. His fingers were scanned. His visa popped up on the screen as a sign it was authentic. He was deported despite all the proofs his visa was legit . When he came back, he was told by 3 different men of God that, someone ,.a lady who saw his visa made a mark on the visa and cancelled it in the spirit realm. He was just travelling with an empty passport. The CBP said his face didn't match the picture on the visa and that of his biodata page. Tinz dey happen..men ought to always pray. |
shadrach77:They believe whatever women tell them. It's a female society |
GeneralOjukwu: . Thank God for your life |
I know say na black e go be,disgracing the black race. Idiot |
GboyegaD:Exactly, more of such an attack will still happen |
GboyegaD:Leave them. One day, they'd look into the mirror and begin to see their wrinkled eyes and grey heir all over their beards. Then they'd realise how much they've ruined their lives cos of bigotry. Sadly, those they're supporting don't give hoots about their life and future. |
Olumide right now 👍 |
Namaster:Real sense ! |
samuelgodson:Finally, Guinness broke the ice. No more speculations. They're leaving for another African country, sadly just like others who left last year did. No multinational will ever come back once they leave. Nigeria is collapsing before our very eyes cos of bad leadership |
What a wasteful government. They always go there to clap hands and take pictures |
SoNature:She belongs to old school, the best school ever |
This man has cried more than the bereaved many times today on minimum wage. Its like he's afraid his loot wouid be cut to size. Only a few governors are there to serve their people. Politics in Nigeria is business . Yeye people dem |
Dubetex96:You can say that again. Tinubu is well over 80. His wife died in 2018 at the 70. Today, she'd have been 76, if she's alive. I wasn't even surprised at today's fall. I remember when he was scared in same eagle square last year, he almost fell. Likewise when he was asked to give his speech after the bought over primaries, he was held up the podium ladder. He'd have fallen. That's what happens when you seek something by force. I think he shouldn't be pitied for alowong himself to be so mocked. |
These were great leaders with sound health. You can't compare Tinubu with them by any standard, OP. Considering Biden's age and ever-busy schedules, I wasn't expecting anything less. Biden attends several events daily without sending Karmala Harris, unlike Tinubu. They work very hard. Yet, he's as fit as ever. Tinubu should have said the truth about his age and people would have reasoned with him. But because he wanted to be president at all cost, he cut 10 years away from his age. His first wife died in 2018 at age 70 and if alive today, she'd have been 76. What we saw today shouldn't be a new thing to us. It's expected, considering his age. One lesson everyone must learn is, you can't cheat nature and that's what happened today. |
This is Peter Obi for real. A kind-hearted man |
I've always heard of protests over bad government. Protests over hunger is a menace to humanity cos that's one of the reasons we're here as humanity beings created by God...to eat and live. If we're working and food isn't coming to the table, those responsible should await God's punishment. |
Badguy77:Yes, in my constituency alimosho, the largest LGA in population in Nigeria, where we voted another candidate instead of Tinubu, my vote counted. It had never happened before that time. We can only improve in democracy. We shall get there so, vote them out! Henceforth, politicians who did not do well will struggle to retain his or her position. |
Only illiterate will doubt this |
Bullet01:Good point. Vote them out |
porthouse7:Read my message well and click on the links that followed but as lazy as you are, you no go ever gree. Child trafficking is a crime which knows no tribe. Stop jumping in to make comments....read! Ibo, yoruba, edo, hausa, Fulani, urhobo, just name it, are all guilty of this. They keep arresting people here in lagos over Child trafficking. Victims are mostly teenage girls. Tribalism should be termed a serious crime in our society and be passed into law. Maybe some of yiu will get sense, both ibo and yorubas who are known for preaching this |
The unfortunate event was aired on CNN. I watched it yesterday. Naija to the world. Shame on our failed leaders. We didn't just shout vote wisely. E gey why. There are thousands of other innocent teenage girls trafficked successfully across our border from all tribes and parts of Nigeria by their slave masters and mistresses who weren't caught. This is just one out of many and the trend won't stop until we get sense. Unfortunately, the menace is now a commonplace across Nigeria. There are some , which were reported by the international communities and media. The below are a few. https://socialscienceresearch.org/index.php/GJHSS/article/view/102876/6-Trafficking-in-Woman-and-Children_JATS_NLM_xml https://rodakar.iom.int/news/exploited-and-abused-trafficking-victim-recalls-her-nightmare-journey https://punchng.com/gombe-naptip-recovers-two-children-trafficked-to-abuja-lagos https://www.vanguardngr.com/2024/05/trafficking-police-in-lagos-rescue-10-teenage-girls-arrest-2-suspects https://www.thecable.ng/police-rescue-six-children-trafficked-from-kwara-to-lagos/amp https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/657947-lagos-is-biggest-transit-destination-for-human-trafficking-in-nigeria-naptip.html https://punchng.com/woman-arrested-for-alleged-trafficking-of-42-children |
OmotolaDeniro:Unfortunately, America isn't like Nigeria where people apply emotions to things. Trump will go to jail, mark today's date and hit me back later. If a whole reigning president could be convicted on all charges, who's trump not to go to jail, after being found guilty of all charges? |

Its a lie. Kwara needs this autonomy more than any other state. It's a poverty-stricken state. My experience in kwara when schooling in those days is still fresh in my memories. I remember the bęskę onigun męrin, which the poorest of the poor amongst them used to make their soup and call meat. With the full LG autonomy, the state governors wouldn't need to pilfer or touch their allocation anymore and they'd be able to do much more to their people at the LG level. Only in Nigeria will LG be controlled by state. The word Local Government says it all. We have the federal government, state government and the local government that are supposed to be independent of one another in governance but the state will still be controlling both the state government and the Local government. Some states don't even hold LG elections. Our politicians are evil. Politics in Nigeria is business rather than service. Shame on this governor for saying this. I expect more of such stiff opposition to come from those businessmen called governors. |
His blind supporters would say it's politically motivated, even though they too are dying of hunger, silently. Serially unintelligent slaves |
Day169:He doesn't need Shaibu. Where was Shaibu when edo was swept by the LP? |
Konquest:A large percentage of Akoko Edo LGA towns speaks yoruba. Some have their dialects in addition while some others speak only yoruba. They're not part of the Oranmiyan brouhaha. They migrated from aloko and other parts of ondo state to settle in that place many centuries ago. Some towns that are supposed to be part of ondo were merged with edo due to state creation and boundary formation. For instance, my town fell on the edo side cos of the river Osę, which was the boundary landmark between ondo and edo states. Otherwise, it would have been inside ondo state and once you cross that river, you're in edo state and vice versa. We have such in all states. Ikpoba oha people speak yoruba like locals. They moderated from ondo state as well. They're not inside Akoko edo. They're very close to Benin. The Ebiras founded a town called igarra which is the HQ of Akoko Edo LGA. It's also called Etuno. |
HeatSeeker:Why are you afraid of mentioning noodles OP? |
Omoawoke:Is that your own comment on the topic? ![]() |
MIKOLOWISKA:Who are the "we" in your We dont believe you ? |
Konquest:Point of correction. I'm not attacking anyone. I don't like Tinubu's ideologies, same way as millions of lagosians who didn't vote him. As you can see, I'm not one of those whose sources are not known. Where's Tinubu from, can you tell cos he's not part of us in lagos. He's denying everything. He adopted that name, not his real name. Shame on all those claiming to be omoluabi but still following such a controversial man like him. My dad is from a yoruba town in edo state, same way the likes of dino melaye, smart adeyeni etc are yorubas from yoruba towns in kogi state. So, I'm yoruba not bini man. I'm not hiding my identity. We bear yorubas names and speak only yoruba called akoko dialect, same as akungba and ikare akoko dialect. I'm lagosian by birth and origin while my mum is lagosian. Dad was born in lagos but chose to align with edo. That's my genealogy my friend. I'm more lagosian than tinubu, sanwoolu and his deputy. We know their roots. Finally, democracy is a choice. You claim I keep attacking your mentor when you guys are also guilty of same offence by constantly attacking Obi, my candidate. It's normal in democracy so, respect my choice. |
lailo:So, Galadima, a hausaman has suddenly become an obedient or ibo too? Wonderful. ![]() Na so so unintelligent people full Tinubu for back. They just talk in whatever direction their mouths face. Obi remains you guys nightmare. Even on irrelevant posts, Obi's name must be mentioned ![]() |
