E don dey happen. Loooooooooooooooooooooooooool |
This is highly commendable. Like I've always said, I'm Nigerian first, before my tribal affiliation. I hope they'd do more to develop that region. Most of the time the people we work for embark on any philanthropic cause in the south east, we hardly see the hands of the real owners of the land in those places. In 2019, we embarked on a mission to donate a 164-Slice CT to some teaching hospitals in the country via JICA and the good people of Japan, of which we're the country's technical partner. Three teaching hospitals were earmarked in the country, those who had never enjoyed such donations so we considered OAUTH, UATH and UNTH. The federal government and the then health minister, through the fed ministry of health, hijacked the one for the OAUTHC and moved it to the UBTH in his state with his influence. Every politician in the south west knew about this last minute maltreatment but they kept quiet...a good reason I hate them with passion. They're only after their pockets. To cut the long story short, on getting to UNTH, we were shocked, most of the donations there were done by international donors like WHO and local.donors of south west origin. There are people among ibo tribe who could build a whole ICU for them and equip it but they're not doing anything. They prefer flaunting wealth where it doesn't matter. This is very bad. Even if you guys decide to leave and form your country today, where would you start from? Other regions already had templates in place, should we all leave today. I've been an advocate of this cos we all will split one day, whether we like it or not. We want our o'dua nation as well. I'm not saying you shouldn't develop other regions but try and begin doing something in your place too. Nothing is happening there and im not talking about hotels that have littered everywhere which only get busy during festive seasons. Invest, donate to hospitals, empower your people. We're planning another donation to same UNTH soon tru an international donor, dialysis and neonatal devices to OAUTH too. Develop the south east and stop allowing people who are feeding far from you to continue to destroy your investments and harass you. See how they keep dumping the beer going to your stores in the north for instance. They'd still get allocation from the taxes paid by these beer companies. Please don't leave the message and begin attacking the messenger. Ponder in it. Ire oo |
Someone close to these guys should tell them to invest oo . Majek fashek was seen with a brand new and glittering Paul Newman Rolex worth millioms of dollars in the 80s in one of his concerts in NYC. He ended up begg9ng for food in the streets of lagos a few years back. Fame is transient but what you make of it lasts forever |
Glimpsetv:From what I've seen, they're close to their destination already. Lucky them. |
And this one na news, laaro Thursday. Nairaland.com. o ga oo |
No cap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
searchlight:100%. I've got millioms of proofs to present on this. Only f00ls would think he's just here on earth by luck or by accident without anybody controlling it and once he dies, it's the end of his life. I hope you're not one of them. |
What a wrong prediction. He should go back to sleep again and dream properly. I don't know what these people take Nigeria for lol. I remember when Jonathan was vying for a second term and I was listening to a radio programme inside an uber taxi in abuja, which 2 pastors who were the anchors of the programme tagged "the man called Jonathan" saying all manner of sweet words. We saw the end if it, in the end. If you're called by God, you don't even need to be political, even if your revelation is real. Many of them have desecrated that office for the sake of their stomach. |
Nigeria should be very careful at this moment. We're also on their watch list. This is a message to top givernment officials doing this nonsense, from top-down. Those cache of drugs discovered in recent times and those intercepted at our ports couldn't have been possible without government's officials involvement. Enough said. |
No wonder Nigerians are moving to Sierra Leone nowadays. I was wondering why. Now I know. Our people are also there till today. Nigerians made Nigeria insecure by always voting based in sentiments. |
AMINDA:Point of correction on the emboldened, Tinubu's supporters need to be extremely careful . No decent yoruba will align with them laye! That's why we've never taken sides with them. You can never find their likes where decent omoluabis are gathered. They're more like thugs everywhere. Their activities here on NL are enough proofs. So, someone like fashola, falana, bode George, and people like us, who are this generation's breeds of omoluabis will alwsys steer clear of their nonsense |
The worst government in the history of Nigeria. No cap |
MufasaLion:My meeting with Obama was in recognition of my impact in the oil and gas sector, mainly on the hazardous management system. A notable oil and gas company recommended my company without even me noticing. It's a big yardstick for me, a great achievement cos my company is the only one invited in the sub-saharan africa. Where I've been as Nigerian, several US citizens haven't and I thank God for that. |
Giving birth in the USA or becoming a US citizen doesn't guarantee your greatness in life. Only God does. I had met with barak Obama in the past at the DAR Hall near the White House in Washington DC . Whereas, it was an opportunity millioms if Americans were looking for, which they never had. There are Nigerians like me, born and raised in Nigeria who emigrated and are among the billionaires in America today while the citizens are struggling to pay monthly house rent and mortgage. Wherever you're created, pray to God to make you relevant and successful.. |
I've had amazing experiences flying this sky beast twice, once to france from dubai and the other to Los Angeles from same dubai in 2019. It took us 16hrs plus, to get to Tom Bradley Aurport in Los Angeles on a non-stop flight. We almost spent one day in the air. Being a double-decked aircraft made it so unique and amazing. We were over 700 passengers on board. The aircraft has got an amazing design, its roof when you look up is like a sky with several uncountable stars. |
helinues:See you. You're always funny with your statements. Have you visited the pdp states where LG elections had been held and where all LGAs were taken and none was won by the apc? LG and governorship elections are different from presidential election, take note |
ArcSEMPECJ:Amen! I can never be part of evil. It's tinubu fighting by proxies and he's failed. This is just the beginning. We expect to see more tribal slurs as 2027 approaches and were ready for him in Lagos. Im wondering why he's not using same resources and energy to tackle the main problem of poverty, insecurity and the economy which had bedeviled Nigerians. All they're after is themselves. It won't work again. Only f00ls will play into their hands and we have a handful of them. When we say inec shortchanged obi, we're always right . You can see what's happening now. We will stop the nonsense, come 2027. It's his tactics. shame on those who are allowing themselves to be used. All these brouhaha is because of Peter Obi. He's a threat to their lives and they can't stop him this time. Tinubu has failed woefully .This isn't a democracy anymore but tribalcrazy. God bless Nigeria. This is the best time for ibos to write to the UN and other relevant international bodies cos their lives matter. They don't feel safe in their own country anymore. It's a good point to chart a course for cesession if they're truly serious. Days back, it was renaming igbo streets and a popular bus stop here. Yesterday it was alimodu Sheriff's inflammatory statement and today, it's inec who's supposed to be an unbiased umpire and an independent body. . |
Putindbutt:This is nonsense, pls stop. Are you saying Ibos are truly more populated here ? Who's alimodu sheriff, someone who had contributed in no small measures towards the insecurity that had bedevelled his state? Someone who's bereft of an elderstatesman status? The message is clear. He wants to turn our ever- peaceful state into a volatile state like borno by making such an unfounded statement. If insecurity must stop in borno today, it will come from alimodu sherrif's hands cos he's the ring leader. His antecedents have shown how incoherent he's been with facts. I remember all he said during Jonathan's regime Hes failed woefully and his lies can only catch outsiders who aren't resident here. Nigerians complained to inec that they can't be traveling far to vote where they're registered in every election and the inec listened and allowed voters move their voting locations to wherever they live for convenience sake. All tribes did this. I can't register in lagos but living in abuja and just because I want to vote, now travel down to lagos. It doesn't make sense. I always make references to my local government in alimosho where ibos population is less than 5%. We're majorly yorubas. We voted Peter obi here. Inec is just exposing themselves as the ones who shortchanged obi in 2023 as we've always maintained,.with this kind of statement. We will vote obi again in 2027 if he contests. The earlier you guys know that tinubu isn't so popolar in lagos as you outsiders think, the better. We're learned and exposed. We don't play politics of hate or tribalism. Why not tell all yorubas living outside lagos like you too and move to lagos to vote tinubu. Abi they stop you? Iranu |
PresidObi:Pjeasevtell them. We will still vote obi in 2027 ![]() |
helinues:Keep beating your chest in vain. It's so funny to think Tinubu's loss in lagos was attributed to ibos. Have you been to alimosho before? It's a LGA in lagos with the largest yoruba population in Nigeria and less than 5% igbos as residents. We voted obi here. Did ibo move from SE region to vote in alimosho?. I'm full bloodied lagosian likewise my fellows. We're yorubas. Now, we're beginning to know those who killed obi's ambition in 2023. Each time we point accusing fingers at inec, we know we're always right. People are allowed to move their voting locations wherever they wish. Isn't same inec who gave electorate that permission? Ot wasn't the case before? Why didn't the same inec boss say hausas and other tribes too did same, in order to vote in their regions? why talk about ibos as if they're the only tribe who did this. People complained that they can't travel far just to vote because they registered in places where they aren't living and the inec.provided the means. In case you've forgotten in a hurry I haven't. We will vote obi again in.2027 if he contests. This is democracy in which people are allowed to vote any candidate of choice. Where were you in 1999 and 2003 when they rescued obasanjo from the hands of the north with their votes? We didn't support Obasanjo back then and I'm still wondering why. We voted falae in 1999 to.spite obasanjo. Enough of all these nonsense. |
StoryHaven:Don't mind them. How can I, in my right sense vote tinubu when beta pesin dey. I dey craze? |
Ttalk:Dey there and be deceiving yourself. Did you think it was ibos who voted obi in 2023? See chest beating . If dem check you very well, you're not even a lagosian. Better vote tinubu in your state and leave us alone. Alimosho is the largest yoruba population in Nigeria by local government. Ibos here are less than 5% yet, obi won. Tinubu isn't so popular here as most ofyou may have thought. Since when alimodu sherif become a lagosian that he'd be saying all these . OK naw, 2027 ko jinna rara. E maa bawa mbę. God bless Nigeria |
irumole1975:I'm not an immigrant to start with. I schooled there and came back to Nigeria. Im self-employed and I have manufacturers in the US and the EU. However, the emboldened suggests to me you're completely out of the point. Apart from the zeal of Europeans seeking vacations in the USA, they also have interests in schooling there for various exchange programme purposes. As my business demands,I've been to virtually all the European countries and I can tell you frankly that none of them compares to the US in terms of infrastructure and amazing tourist destinations. Europe is developed, oh yes! But the US is their second home. If you're a frequent traveller, which I doubt, due to your position on the emboldened, the moment you connect the US flights in any of the European countries, black's heads on the jam-packed plane vanish. You hardly spot an african on the flight but Europeans and a few other nationals like Asians and Indians. What's is so amazing about Switzerland, can you tell? I've been to Montreaux, Veyvey, Lusanne, Geneve, also known as Geneva. I remember being in the Geneva small airport and they took light for almost 20 minutes. Professor Adewole, the then health minister was in the airport that day. I jammed him and his staff who came for a medical programme. We were both returning to Nigeria but on different flights. 90% of the homes in Switzerland are very old, same as other EU countries. Most of the Europeans see America as their second homes. They have ancestral connections in the usa and they do visit on a regular basis. In Pennsylvania for instance, those amazing infrastructure and sky scrapers are owned by people of the Dutch origin, a reason they call them Pennsylvanian Dutch. In 2019 while in Los Angeles, I paid a visit to the Dysneyland Adventure. It took me over 2 hours before I could spot a black man. The guy too was shocked to see me from his look and we walked past each other. The visitors were mainly Europeans who wore uniformed vests for identification with their families. |
spiSeyi:Iro nla. You know deep down yiur heart, you love to visit America. As a tourist, if you've never stepped your feet on the America's soil, your mission is incomplete. Not even Europeans would underestimate visiting the US and I'm not bragging about it. It's called a new world for several reasons. I was on same flight with a French lady last year. She was seated next to me. She was going on an excursion in the US alongside 2 of her friends. The excitement was so much and I was wondering why. She told me she's never been to the US all her life and she can't wait to touch down in New York. I proceeded my journey to north carolina. We exchanged number just for friendship sake. See her posting her pictures frequently to me via WhatsApp, which she took at the statue of liberty and other places. I was like, but this lady is European. Omo, go ask those who have visited the US before or those living there. They'd tell you no place is as beautiful and amazing as the us. Iroyin ko tafojuba, Eni ba debę lo le sọ |
LoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooL |
Very shameful. It speaks a lot. Our leaders don't believe in the system, wondering why they want to govern by force |
Why is cuba missing on the top 20 list. It's incomplete. |
They buried this information until it made it to the media. Insecurity is worse in this regime than we've ever had. Propaganda doesn't pay |
With this, obi will get even more votes in 2027. Instead of tinubu to parley them as obj and Jonathan did, which saved them from the north's gang up in their era, he's busy making mistakes. That consolation votes they'd not give him in the south east and south south come 2027 cos they're hearing of what they're doing to their people in lagos. Someone whose legs are already shaking in the north, is busy playing politics of hate down south. The other day, edo state is saying obi must not visit his state. He's forgotten that edo are fully obidients. They should continue to make mistakes. It will be to our advantage. |
richie240:Lol |
WesleyPepper:Emi, impostor? Lol. I'm not denying not liking tinubu ok? I don't pretend. If that's what would make me be an impostor, so be it. I like it like that |
