You need to begin by breaking it into daily, weekly and monthly target. You said 5K daily minimum. Therefore you are looking at 35K weekly and 150k monthly. I will advise you scout for food stuff that are quite expensive in PH but cheaper in other places like Edo state, Akwa ibom, or Cross River State. There are many of such edibles you can import to PH because foodstuffs in PH is almost double of the price in Edo and certain areas in Akwa Ibom/ Cross River States. With 1m in this business, you can be making over 150K every 2weeks when you buy whole and sell whole. U can begin with less than 500k as a beginner. Try it and thank me later. |
I have been imagining the best way the U.S. can send shockwaves down the spine of Nigerian leaders and islamist terrorists and I came to the conclusion that the best preliminary approach is for them to test the microphone by merely sending down 500 Fighter Jets to freely roam the Nigerian Airspace for just 30mins and go back. With that alone the would have send enough message to the appropriate quarter. What do think Or what would you recommend?

Claiming that Udu LGA always vote the opposition is a fallacy. Uvwie and Ughelli North LGA that has several ongoing star project being executed by the State Govt obviously voted against the current governor too. If that's the criteria then we are supposed to see three flyovers being built simultaneously in Uvwie LGA where majority voted against the governor in 2023. |
UDU LGA IN RETROSPECT: CHRONICLE OF A MARGINALIZED PEOPLE IN DELTA STATE. Episode 1: The Genesis Of Our Ordeal "He who doesn't know where the rain began to beat him cannot also precisely recall/appreciate where it began to dry-up"...(African Proverb) To grasp a better understanding of how the infrastructural marginalization of Udu LGA emanated, it would be necessary to recall historical antecedents in the build-up towards the 1999 Delta State guber election that saw to Chief James Onanefe Ibori becoming the elected governor of the state. That election was a fierce contest between Chief James Ibori of the PDP and Engr. Moses Kragha of the ANPP. Both men are from the Urhobo ethnic group but while the former is from Oghara in Ethiope West LGA, the latter happens to be from Okpaka Town in Udu LGA. After the PDP candidate was declared winner in that guber election, ANPP became the opposition in the state. Udu was consequently tagged as the home of opposition by the elected governor and the PDP just because one of our Udu son and brother was on the ballot against them and emerged as the second runner-up in the race. This tag was advertently so even though, Chief Gordon Okpako, the member elected to represent Udu Constituency in the State House of Assembly of that same era was elected on the PDP platform. It is indisputably since that 1999 incident that the Delta State Government has continued to be vindictive against the people of Udu whose only crime then centered on the fact that their brother and son contested against the PDP. As a result, the state government under Chief James Ibori between 1999 and 2007 neglected Udu LGA while at the same time hoping to win the votes of Udu people. Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan who succeeded Chief James Ibori as governor also displayed this vindictiveness against Udu in his own ways. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on succeeding Uduaghan followed suit but not as worse as his two predecessors. Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, an Urhobo man, is now at the helms of affairs and we don't know whether to tagged him as the worst or closest to the worst. As Udu people we don't know whether we should count on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori OR Should we count him among the usual stock. Only time shall tell though. Massive protest rocks Udu LGA over government neglect 28, Jun, 2025 …’Celebrating 500 projects without one in Udu is height of marginalization’ The people of Udu Local Government Area of Delta State have staged a protest over what they described as gross marginalization of the people in the administration of Delta state, stressing that the celebration of 500 projects by the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori-led administration on his second year in office without a single project in Udu was the height of insensitivity, calling on the governor to redress the issue and attend to the demands of the Udu people. The placard-carrying protesters, which filed out in strategic locations of Udu on Saturday, table 8 demands before Governor Oborevwori, noting that Udu had suffered for too long in the hands of successive administration and that the current governor, having performed beyond expectations, should extend his performance streaks to Udu in other to give the people a sense of belonging. Addressing newsmen during the protest on Saturday, Comrade Goodluck Mukoro, President of the Emancipation Movement for Udu Progress, an advocacy group for Udu development founded by Udu Indigenes with membership drawn from the 32 Communities in Udu Kingdom to agitate for improved infrastructure for Udu, lamented the projects distribution by the Delta State Government which boasted of 500 projects in two years without one for Udu. Reading from a written text on behalf of the group and the entire Udu people, duly signed by the President, Goodluck Mukoro and Secretary, Joseph Godday, the group tabled the 8 points demands of the Udu people to include reconstruction and dualization of main Udu road from express junction to ECN Junction to ease the pains of roda users who spend hours on the road daily due to its deplorable condition, Construction of Udu second bridge at Opete/Enerhen, Construction of Orhuhworun —Ohwrode—Otor-Udu road, Construction of Egiegi community road, and Completion of the abandoned the Delta Leisure Park at Oleri since former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan tenure. Other demands of the Udu people are Establishment of a higher institution of learning in Udu, Construction of Ugbisi–Emadadja community road and Construction of Oleri community road to Obubu. The protesters lamented that despite being one of the local Government Areas in Delta State that is home to oil and gas reserves, Udu is the most marginalized Local Government Area in Delta State with little or no Government's presence. ‘’Udu is being intentionally neglected by the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, by refusing to approve any project for us despite the deplorable state of infrastructures. ‘’Our roads have become death traps, our primary and secondary schools are dilapidated, our general hospital is in a state of abandonment, the leisure park at Oleri has since been abandoned after the tenure of Emmanuel Uduaghan who initiated the project, our Communities and major roads are ravaged by flood annually, Udu is completely absent from the Sherrif-led Delta State urban renewal plan, cities beautification and solar street light project on major roads, thereby leaving Udu in perpetual darkness and abandonment. ‘’The Uvwie, Warri South and Environs Development Agency created by the immediate past Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, despite delivering numerous drainage projects in Uvwie and Warri South, did not consider Udu for a single project, even though the areas captured in the bill that established the agency added parts of Udu, with it’s scope extending to Otor-Udu. ‘’Our appeals to Udu political elites have always been met with the excuse that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori did not win in Udu Local Government Area in the election that brought him to power yet, he has executed numerous projects in other Local Government Areas where he did not win in the state. The treatment being melted on Udu suggests that the Governor's MORE AGENDA is selective, bias and vindictive. ‘’We are using this medium to once again call on the Governor, His Excellency Rt Hon (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori to approve the top priority projects of the Udu people listed earlier for execution for sake of equity, inclusiveness and fairness to all. We want to unequivocally state that if the above listed projects are not approved within three weeks from the date of this publication, we shall stage a full scale mass protest that shall hold on 22nd and 23rd July, 2025, to further press for our demands without hesitation, in line with democratic norms’’ the group declared, stressing that the coming protests shall be massive and may involve complete shutdown of Udu to press home the demand of the people.

Of what use is the celebration when fuel importation persists |
NNPC is actually fighting Dangote for putting them under pressure. Dangote is actually stronger than any of their moves. May God help Nigeria. |
There's nowhere in the bible where polygamy was described as a sin. |
Am actually curious and want to know your opinions. |
CR7 is truly the GOAT because he's proven it in England, Spain, Italy and Saudi Arabia. The guy has been consistent all these years. Leo Messi is a very great guy though but he's been unable to make his mark that impressive outside Barcelona FC. |
The truth is that they just want to use grammar to confuse us. To proceed on indefinite leave of absence is the same as resignation just like 6 and half a dozen. It's obvious that after one year of administration the man has come to the realization that his ideals/ principles as a person is in disparity with that of Tinubu's administration. It's truly hightime he takes a bow to save his sanity and integrity. Resigning is an unusual feat in the Nigerian political arena. Kudos to him. |
It's not subsidy you said. Then what is it called? Teacher! Make una no teach us nonsense. Yeye dey smell! |
Honestly speaking, It will require more than President Tinubu's effort to get Nigeria working perfectly. The ordinary nigerian also have their own share of the blames.
|
With the incessant policy failures of the federal government, Nigerians have lost all iota of trust for Tinubu's administration.
|
Only the gullible ones will fall for their gimmicks. The truth is that subsidy payment retured few months after President Tinubu announced its removal due to the effects of the devaluation of the Naira. |
That's not in Nigeria. It could be in other African country. Prove me wrong with the location if you think otherwise. |
Ali Ndume is one man I respect his views/perspective in the Nigerian Senate. He neither dances to the gallery nor is he a rubber stamp Senator. As a matter of fact, we need more of his kind in the National Assembly. |
I fully concur with the writer because the arrest wud have been made easy if the EFCC had obtained a counter motion in court to set aside Yahaya Bello's Court injunction. EFCC should there do the needful instead of cutting corners. |
James Ibori: A Proverbial Cat With Nine Lives. Written by Akaba Clement E. "Until the Lions have their own historians, the history of the hunt will always glorify the Hunter" ...African Proverb. Over the last three decades, men of various capacities have risen and exited the Nigerian political terrain; some are still alive while others are dead but very few have continued to remain influential and relevant till date since the beginning of the fourth republic in 1999 irrespective of the turbulent twists and turns they had to traverse. One of such men whom has continued to earn his place against all odds is the man - Chief James Ibori - who was governor of Delta State from 1999 till 2003. How he continues sustaining his influence within the Nigerian political circle even after his ordeals has been a source of marvel to keen observers most especially since the 2023 general election. Who would have had the premonition that such a man that had gone through thirteen (13) years jail term in the U.K. as a result of political prosecution (for daring the powers that be) would later make a brilliant comeback to the political arena within a short while after his ordeal? He was not the only ex-governor that had it rough and tough among his contemporaries. Late Diepreye Alamieyeseigha of Bayelsa State; Ex-governor Jolly Nyame of Taraba State; Joshua Dariye of Plateau State and several others were men of similar clime as his. Some of his contemporaries who served as governors didn't went through any form of incarceration but somehow went into political oblivion. A study of the life of Chief James Ibori brings to mind the biblical "man after god's own heart" who was crowned king of Israel at a young age and never ascended the throne till after many years of struggles, battles and building of mighty men. Like the biblical King David, James Ibori seems to be a man after god's own heart and as well a cat with nine lives owing to the way and manner he has managed to continue sustaining his influence/relevance after all his travails. To make such an audacious comeback in the Nigerian political terrain requires extraordinary strategy and smartness that is somewhat out of this world. Love him or hate him, like the proverbial cat with nine lives, he would always earn his place among the eminent.

It's been on subtly through cartoon in recent years. I first saw their antique in the cartoon movie titled Strange World. They are actually coming for our kids. |
In my personal opinion, it reflects the choice of the majority to a large extent. This is because the will of the populace prevailed in the House of Assembly poll, House of Representatives poll the senate poll and the guber poll. |
It wud be foolhardy to underrate Arsenal's performance this season. Nevertheless ManCity seem to be the most well-positioned for the EPL title run. |
Only a Nitwit will blame Buhari for Tinubu's failure. From what we have seen, Buhari's administration is far better than this one that has no Blueprint. Tinubu is all Bullshit because he's only there to occupy space.

DESOPADEC Commissioner, Karo Goru Decries The Deplorable State Of Orowhe Public Primary School In Iwhrekan/Edjophe Town Of Ughelli South LGA. ***Promises To Ensure Full Rehabilitation Of Dilapidated Educational Facilities. The DESOPADEC Commissioner representing Udu, Ughelli South, Uvwie and Urhobos of Warri South in the board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Hon Jonathan O. Goru, during the evening hours of yesterday Wednesday 21/2/2024, paid an inspectorial visit to the Orowhe Public Primary School located in Iwhrekan/Edjophe Town in Ughelli South LGA. This inspection was facilitated by the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Students Affair, Comr. Ezekiel Oghenetega Okoh PhD., in a bid to draw the attention of DESOPADEC and that of Delta State government authorities to the deplorable plight of the school in term of Dilapidated classroom blocks as well as classrooms without chairs and desks for pupils thereby resorting to pupils sitting on the bare floor. During the inspection, Hon. Karo Goru learnt that the pupils actually sit on bare floor during classes due to lack of chairs and desks even when the school was fully rehabilitated 5years ago. Many of the classrooms were also found to be without roofs as a result of substandard materials used for the work. The DESOPADEC Commissioner also used the opportunity in having a Town-Hall meeting at the Community Town Hall with the locals where he fervently admonished them to imbibe the culture of protecting/ maintaining public facilities within their Community. According to him, "It is your duty as a Community to keep eyes on every public facility built for you by the government since it is the same you the local people that will suffer in the Incidence of dilapidation and damage. Community leaders and the local People should also endeavor to always report every Incidence of substandard public work because this administration of Rt. Hon. Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori won't tolerate any iota of substandard job."

I strongly believe Tinubu will do well. We can't continue having docile Ministers occupying everywhere. |
Honestly that's not enough room to be broke financially after being the number 4 citizen with bogus allowances. It would have been good you tell us he lacks money management/ multiplier skills. That's the only reason a man of his caliber can become broke. |
How Karo Goru Adopted Twin Brothers For Full-Scale Scholarship To University Level. Written by: Akaba Clement Eriraivenre "...While everyone searches for what they can take, a true King searches for what he can give"...King Mofasa (The Lion King). Over the last five months of Hon. Jonathan Karo Goru's tenure as the DESOPADEC Commissioner representing Udu, Ughelli South, Uvwie and Urhobos of Warri South on the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), he has been doing everything humanly possible to ensure that the people of his mandate area, being his primary constituents, enjoyed the dividends of democracy viz: (1)The promotion of peace and harmony through peace parley among various Community leaders, (2) Appointment of 68 persons as DESOPADEC Liaison Officers, (3) Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship training, (4) Provision of Health Care support, (5) Educational support, (6) Clearing/Opening of Canals, (7) Activation of Road Construction Projects and ( Street Light Projects. Our focus today centers on the touching story of how he voluntarily adopted to sponsor twin brothers on Scholarship through their Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary education. It all began in August this year at an event organized by the Ataifo Family of Egini Town in Udu LGA to felicitate with the trio of Senator Emmanuel Aghwariavwodo; Chief Taleb Tebite and Hon. Jonathan O. Goru over their recent appointment by the current administration of the Delta State Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori. The 10 year old Twin brothers happened to be members of the Udje-Udu Cultural Dance group of Ujevwu that entertained the Dignitaries at the event. The highpoint of the occasion then, was the award of a full-scale scholarship to University level to Master Goddowell Ugborhikefe who was singled out by the Commissioner. According to the Commissioner, he was captivated by the vigour and enthusiasm with which the youngster did the fascinating and enthralling dance. It was at the point of effecting his pledge to the young dancer that the benevolent DESOPADEC Commissioner learnt that the beneficiary had a twin brother, Master Godspower Ugborhikefe, who happens to be a member of the same dance group. He also discovered that these twin brothers lost their father, Late Mr. Alfred Ugborhikefe of Ujevwu Town in Udu LGA when they were barely 3 years old and that their struggling mother, Mrs. Loveth Ugborhikefe, whom they lived with at Ugbisi Town in Udu LGA has been finding it very difficult to financially see them and their older siblings through school. In the process, it was also learnt that these 10 year old twin brothers were still in Primary Two(2) at Ugbisi Public Primary School due to the instability which has bedeviled their academic life for years. The benevolent Hon. Goru, touched by their ordeal, extended the Scholarship award to cover both of them. According to the benefactor, "It's an opportunity to directly empower and positively touch the lives of the younger generation and ease a burden. This is a personal project to me since it would be spanning a period of two decades." The Twin brothers have been moved to a far more decent learning environment (private school) since the beginning of this Academic session with all expenses - School Fees, School bags, Textbooks, Note books, Shoes, etc fully paid. #GoruKaro_Is_Touching_Lives #GoruKaroIsWorking #GoruKaroDrivingMOREAgenda

Am really disappointed in PMB because the speech shows that he doesn't believe in Nigeria and he doesn't as well believe in his best. |
Ades1:There's no need arguing with you. Study the last 20years growth trends of the Stock market for yourself and you will understand what is volatility. Am talking from experience because I invested in 2008 after the market crashed. |
The Nigerian Stock market is a very volatile investment channel. It favours only the super rich that are able to buy majority shares of a company. Before you invest in the stock market, I would advise you watch the movie titled "the wolf of wall street" and understand its intricacies. |
