eazydon:
It's very obvious that PDP failed wolfly in Abia State. For a better part of the last 8 years that T.A Orji has been in power, it has been decline. This man is the worst Abia can ever have. Trust me, it can't get worse than it already is. Why didn't they take the campaign to Aba, the heart of Abia? They made late minute change of plans and took the rally to little Umuahia because, T.A Orji had never had a single successful public outing in Aba. He almost always gets stoned to death... Abia people will vote PDP for president, but if the election should be free and fair, PDP will be massively floored in Abia.

They're a failure in Abia. And GEJ didn't help matters. During his campaign in Aba in 2011, he promised to upgrade Aba to an international industrial city, to produce an aircraft before 2020, looking back now... I guess it was just a political gimmick. Imagine a city where there is no single street light on any single road or street. In fact there is no good single road or single street to install a single streetlight!

What kind of place would you call that in this 21st century? Yet, there was/is a governor who gets most of the IGR from Aba. Shame on T.A. Abians will vehemently reject his sinister plans to impose his criminal son as Abia House Speaker, his wife as commissioner, His good for nothing friend as governor and himself as senator. A common thief that was brought out of Kirikiri by his predecessor Orji Kalu, brushed up and installed as governor.

He said he rescued Abia from the tyranny of Orji Kalu and his mother, even though we saw no evidence of a shift in ideas, he now wants to plunge Abia into the hands if a greater tyranny in the person of his son 'Ikuku' (Wind) and other cohorts. Rubbish!
breeze don blow, fowl nyash do open!!!we are goin to flush TA Orji, and his Charlatans, and sycophants down d toilet lyk a smelly poo..its done deal!!!

Dear Nairalanders,
Regardless of our Political party affiliation, tribe, and religion, we shudnt let it cloud our sense of Judgement, by supporting what is wrong when it favors us. We can neva know true democracy except evry contestant and supporters is given equal opportunity, equal right, and we as individual shud be not be bias in our thought, comment, and action, because Nigeria is for evryone.

What is wrong can nva be ryt, and what is ryt can nva be wrong...

Whether PDP or APC, always stand for the truth

Regards

This was exactly what I discussed with a friend last week Friday,, GMB is lookin frail n sick, when he was giving his brief speech in Enugu, he was not lookin too strong/healthy from my observation. I think the APC shud have supported Kwankwanso or a young aspirant to bring the change that we desperately need or we might end up in same circle.

But only God gives life and knows what tomorrow brings!!! Wishing him Luck with his health

benalvino2:
Sura 2:191-193 “And slay them wherever you find them, and drive them out of the places where they drive you out, for persecution (of Muslims) is worse than slaughter (of non-believers)..and fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah.”

Sura 8:12 “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.”

Sura 3:56 “As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help.”

Sura 8:59-60 “And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah’s purpose) Lo! they cannot escape. Make ready for them all you can of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby you may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy.”

Sura 4:95 “Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah has granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in faith) has Allah promised good: but those who strive and fight has He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward.”

Sura 4:104 “And be not weakhearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain.”

Sura 2:216 “Fighting is prescribed for you, and you dislike it. But it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knows, and you know not.”

Sura 5:33 “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and his Messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the Hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement.”

Sura 9:5 “So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them.”

Sura 9:38-39 “O you who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when you are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, you cling heavily to the earth? Do you prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter. Unless you go forth, He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place.”

Sura 9:41-42 “Go forth, light-armed and heavy-armed, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the way of Allah! That is best for you if you but knew. If there had been immediate gain (in sight) , and the journey easy, they would (all) without doubt follow you, but the distance was long, (and weighed) on them.”

Sura 9:73 “O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination.”

Sura 47:35 “Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when you should be uppermost (Shakir: “have the upper hand”) for Allah is with you.”

Sura 48:29 “Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are hard (ruthless) against the disbelievers and merciful amongst themselves.”

Sura 9:111 “Allah has purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Quran: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded: that is the achievement supreme.”

Sura 61:4 “Surely Allah loves those who fight in His way!”

Let’s begin with Sura 2:191-193. Although the argument could be made that this is a defensive passage, there are two worrisome pieces to this verse. The first is that the killing of unbelievers is authorized in the event of “persecution” ( a qualification that is ambiguous at best). The second is that the fighting may persist until “religion is for Allah.” The example set by Muhammad is not reassuring. The radicals believe that they must dominate the world with Islam until there are no unbelievers left alive.

Sura 8:12 speaks of striking off the heads and fingertips of those who disbelieve. I have personally seen many examples of beheadings and hands without fingertips. Striking terror is their way, and they have shown us how well they have mastered the art.

Sura 3:56 says he will punish those who reject Islam with terrible agony, in this world and in the hereafter. The Bible speaks of eternal torment in the hereafter, but the Quran punishes those who are still alive as well. There is no escape, no salvation, no forgiveness.

In Sura 8:59-60, it calls for all-out war against those who reject Islam. Clearly anyone who chooses their own faith is an unbeliever, an infidel, and worthy of death.

Sura 4:95 “Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons.” Well. This passage criticizes “peaceful” Muslims who do not join in the violence, letting them know that they are less worthy in Allah’s eyes. And who receive no hurt? He wants them to get hurt? He wants his followers to die. He punishes those who don’t physically go out and “strive for the cause of Allah.” What kind of god commands his followers, those who believe in him, to go out and murder people? What kind of seething hate must Allah have for his followers if he tells them they must suffer, in such ways, for his cause?

Sura 9:38-39 “O you who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when you are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, you cling heavily to this earth?” Oh, I love this one. He’s pretty much telling people he wants them to die here on earth. “What’s the matter with you, that you want to live?” What kind of god tells his believers that something is wrong with them if they want to live? My God doesn’t. He tells me I can have an abundant life here on this earth and an eternal life in Heaven, with Him.

Sura 47:35 He tells his followers to not cry out for peace, until they have the upper hand. Don’t cry out for peace? I thought it was a “peaceful” religion. And this clearly tells us that there will be no peace in the Islamic world until Islam reigns supreme.

In Sura 9:111, he says that Allah has purchased of the believers their goods and their persons; that they fight in his cause; slay, and are slain. This means that he requires of them their belongings and their lives, and in return for that, they get to go to war against innocent people who don’t believe in Allah. Is the irony clear here? He demands that they kill in his name, he demands their lives as many will die in battle, and there is no assurance of salvation when they do die.

Surely Allah loves those who fight in his way. That’s sad. To so fully believe in a god who requires such senseless death. To say Islam is a peaceful religion when all of the evidence points to the contrary puts us in a position of vulnerability when it comes to freedom of religion here in America. Our Constitution was founded on basic freedoms, and the freedom to practice our faith is tantamount to our society. Without it, we go backward instead of forward.

I call upon moderate Muslim voices to speak out against the radicals and the extremists but all of you are the same though. The world needs to hear your voices and to hear your concerns about radical jihad. We see what’s happening in Africa and other places, and we see it here as well. Many of us want to open up discussions, ways to work together to combat extremism. If we don’t hear your voices, we start to wonder why. Why aren’t they speaking out against radicals? Why aren’t they denouncing terrorist acts? We start to think that it’s okay with you, and if it isn’t okay, then we need to hear it from you.
believe me, u wont get any response
