Yes there is no gainsaying that agitation for the creation of Biafra is gaining momentum daily and there is no doubt that soon or later there may be referendum to determine whether to have Biafra or not.
Going by current circumstances and reactions that follows Northern youth quit notice to the Igbos, It appears obvious that Biafra might be difficult to achieve and the 'marginalization' might continue in the future as Biafrans have created enough enemies for themselves already.

In my opinion, Any referendum that does not allow all Nigerians to determine whether Igbo stays or leaves is not acceptable. In the interest of Justice and fairness, It is very proper at this juncture to allow all Nigerians to have a say in this referendum as we are all stakeholders because whether Igbo stays or leaves it affects every Nigerians.

Before the ultimatum, ipob have been a threat to national unity, they called Nigeria several names like
Lord lugard cage, zoo, British estate, e.t.c

They shout at the top of their voices "BIAFRA OR DEATH"!!! BIAFRA OR DEÄTH!!!
Ipob believe North are holding them down from achieving their dream country.
The curse everybody that oppose their opinion, they reign curses on Yoruba's and Hausa's.
They call Yoruba's slaves to the north, while Hausa's re animals that re swimming in abject poverty and their land is full of backwardness.
They also unleashes series of propaganda to cause
panic and attract foreign sympathy for self.
determination.

Like trump will give us Biafra
Putin has promised to bomb Nigeria
Nethanyu warned bihari to let the Israelites go.

They even conduct an early morning jugging in support of trump.
To cut the stories short Their madness started
immediately Gej lost election.federal govt have administered so many drugs to cure their madness but all their efforts was in futility .
Until Kaduna 2017 declarations effectively cure ipob madness within 24hrs.

Their reasoning started changing like, we want to go in peace, north should support refrendum for igbos.
North should give us time to move out.
We will not leave north ,we re ready for war.
Their leaders that went AWOL came back to live they started sending emissaries to northern leaders, they cry to DSS,police, and security personnel's to come to their aid.
Now they don't want Biafra again what they need is referendum and dialogue .

It is obvious now the whole agitations is a pure SCAM to destabilise the present administration because their hero lost election at the polls
Tirigbosa for you. Let my people go refuse to go. Waiting for Daura secret service to arrest the Arewa youth that ask you to go
PoliticsRe: ICC Will Not Allow Ethnic Cleansing Of Igbo - Igbodefender.com by ERockson: 4:56pm On Jun 10, 2017
igbodefender:
Ethnic Cleansing is when you try to kill or evict members of an ethnic group because of their ethnicity. since 2008, the International Criminal Court (ICJ) has classified it as a Crime Against Humanity and punishes people who try it.  When some Hutus ethnically cleansed Tutsis in Rwanda, they were rounded up and prosecuted in ICJ. When Nigerian Government almost refused to handover Charles Taylor to International Criminal Court, do you remember what almost happened?

Anyone who thinks they can repeat 1966 in 2017 should forget it, because now the Igbos have the international presence (they are all over the world in large numbers) and social media power to get and hold the world’s attention if we are pushed to do so. Believe me, if we begin protest from Washington DC, to London, to New York, to Paris, to the doorsteps of the ICJ at the Hague itself, the world will not ignore us.Look at our Facebook, Nairaland, Twitter, blog, Whatsapp activists and their reach and abillity to stop fight unjust government policies to a standstill and fight anti-Igboism.

Look at our fearless lawyers, human rights activists, journalists and cultural champions spread all over the world and constantly interconnected – constantly checking to see that everything is allright. Which world leader has not heard of the fearless Ndigbo? If we speak the truth to them, they will listen to us, both those that like us and those that hate us.In 1966 we didn’t have international spread and social media power.

In 2017 we do. So, don’t try US unless you want to relocate to Hague. There is no country you cannot find the Igbo in today, and we therefore have the power to harness public opinion, and no Western politician can ignore public opinion when it is so glaring.

Today the Igbo protest in front of courts, on the streets, in front of embassies and everywhere if they feel they are being shortchanged, and judges know they have our backing to do the right thing even when governments may oppose what they want to do.

You want to stop Igbos from remaining in Nigeria. Where you when Nnamdi Azikiwe was building Nigeria? You want to stop Igbos from legally agitating for Biafra, who told you you can deny them their rights to agitate legally for Biafra?

So, let there be peace not violence. Everybody loses from violence. But when people discuss in peace, they can achieve much.

According to Ibe Kachikwu, The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, has stated that Nigeria needs about $1.2 billion to repair the three refineries of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

On Thursday, at a news briefing in Abuja, The minister, said reports of the concession of Port Harcourt refinery to Oando and Agip companies were untrue.

He further said that a technical committee set up by the government to undertake the review and selection process was yet to submit its report.

“We have not selected any firm yet even though some firms have shown interests.

“We need about 1.2 billion dollars to repair and bring the three refineries of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in Port Harcourt, Warri, and Kaduna, up to 100 percent production level”, he said.

Kachikwu added that the cost of the project had been determined in terms of the extent of work required.

“The total cumulative amount is in the 1.1 billion dollars and 1.2 billion dollars category between all the refineries. And that, of course, does not include the pipelines.

“You have got to address the pipelines and that is something else that is being done”, he noted.

He explained that Nigeria spent about N4.74 trillion on the importation of petrol in the past year which was 30 percent of the total foreign exchange outlay of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

“The importation of petroleum products between January and December of last year amounted to about 20 million metric tonnes.

“A total amount of N3.4 trillion was spent, the consumption of FX from CBN was approximately 30 percent of CBN total FX outlay, and the logistic costs of that importation was about N1.34 trillion within the same one-year period”‎, he added.

Members of the House of Representatives,
mainly from the South-East shun plenary in
what appears as a protest following the
rejection of the South East Development
Commission bill
- Political analysts and observers blame the
defeat of the bill to the absenteeism of
south-east lawmakers
- Meanwhile, member of the House of
Representatives, Goodluck Opiah,
describess the rejection of the bill as a
calculated attempt to marginalize people
from the south east

Lawmakers from the south-east region have
reportedly boycotted plenary session in the
House of Representative on Tuesday, June 6,
in what appeared as a protest move following
the rejection of a bill for an Act seeking to
establish the South East Development
Commission.

NAIJ.com recalls that members of the House
of Representatives, mainly from the South-
East, on Thursday, June 1, protested in the
House following the defeat of a bill seeking
to create a South-East Development
Commission.

Political analysts and observers had blamed
the defeat of the bill to the absenteeism of
south-east lawmakers who could only muster
the presence of 18 out of the 43 members
from the region on the day the bill was
rejected by majority voice vote, Daily
Independent reports.

The newspaper stated that the boycott by the
lawmakers was unclear as at press time due
speculations of an ongoing caucus meeting at
an undisclosed location.

Meanwhile, member of the House of
Representatives Goodluck Opiah has
expressed sadness and frustration at the
rejection of the bill proposing the
establishment of a South-East Development
Commission, during its first reading.
In a recent interview with Daily Post, Opiah,
representing Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta/Oru West
federal constituency of Imo state, disclosed
that the bill was rejected due to a gang up by
northern lawmakers who opposed to its
passage.

He stated that there was a calculated attempt
to marginalize people from the south east.
