My responses are in bold.
I am tired of keeping quiet about these comparisons going on between a developed and developing country, a sane and an insane society. Please whatever rocks your boat. Don't move from one thread to another on Nairaland giving people shallow reasons why they shouldn't relocate.
Peace..
Your Reply to that HYPOCRITE Was more than Perfect!! I pray you have whatever you wished for this New year.

Amin.

Compliments of the season. I pray this 2018, more dollars fall on you and the "love for nigerians and nigeria" also fall on you.

Sincerely, i believe you have a personal life which everybody do as well.

You can not stand and let people make false information about your family of yours? I really understand how it feels bro.

But how do you feel when you call people fraudulent, dishonest, disgruntled nigerians?

How do you feel when you say to people " talk to me when you have visa"?

How do you feel when you say to people they live is cesspit of poverty?

How do you feel when you say " congratulations on your marriage and getting a green card mockingly"?

As you can't stand people making false allegations about your family IS the same way some people of those you call all those demeaning words wont accept that too.

Do onto others the way you want people to do to you.

Respect is earned not forced.

Shalom

Happy to discuss this on the relevant thread but just a quick note... an MIS is a complete waste of your time. You should always think about the likely jobs that your expensive degree gets you once you are done with school. With an MIS, you are no better than the thousands of Americans with similar skills and will struggle to get jobs that are willing to spend money to get you through the immigration process.
cool

I was planing to apply MIS next year but from the above, I will divert to another Angle.

thanks for the INTel

I had a nice time through out my stay in Oklahoma, two of my friends live very close to each other with plenty money - welcome to the real oil and gas work smiley, not the nAnsense they pay in port harcourt. angry

Omo, I jam one food like that - they call it Ayamase or Designer stew - I can sell my birthright for it! cry
How come I had never encountered it? The thing sweet, there are tutorials on YouTube on how to prepare it.

The temperature was unkind - hovered between 17*F to 25*F - going outside was a torture and these guys have to work outside for extended hours...
If you like money, go to Oklahoma to search for oil and gas work they are still recruiting - have a work permit is basically the requirement, limited or no work experience is okay, entry level positions are available. Make cold no kee you before the first pay check arrives.

The weather wasnt improving so I had to leave before I get stuck there, if the roads become filled with snow and slippery, bye bye to my education be that.

So I packed up, said my good byes and left on Sunday the 31st.
Oklahoma City to Kingsville - about !5 miles of road and 9 hours of driving.
all this Gist no pictures huh

Good. That's a wise move. Things like these are best not said over the phone but face to face.

Follow him up and ensure when he gets back you two should have a heart to heart discussion about the situation of the marriage. By next Yuletide he must introduce you to his family physically if he really wanna keep the marriage

Go to the previous appointment and remove your

Afterward create your own profile with your

Manoftheyear na your post carry me come here o, shey you de see our men ?
the man just de busy de paint bad name for us down there.

@peacefull i hate to say this but that your husband is an ingret i mean no sane man will treat his wife the way he's treating you!
and please calling your self stupid is Wrong.
you are those kind of women that Ungreatful men take advantage of just because you dont act violent or react, which even if you react he knows you will still come back and beg him
the issue of he never for once introduce you to his people or family is a sign that he is a FRAUD!
Real nigerian men dont behave lile that, meaning who wont take care of his wife when she is sick ? i think its time you move on with your Life.
:
kindly leave him with the Law of Karma it will hunt him back!!!

You can google for the meaning of words i use which you dont understand.

I really don't get this.
This is normal thing when you live with flatmates.

I stayed with 3 to 5 flatmates, all working , in Victoria Island before i moved here for 5years.

We had people using your stuff, drive by people, if they're close to the house, what if i didn't see them or, as is the case, no convenient place to stop, someone cooking fish, i dislike the smell of fish, people don't clean bathrooms, noisy girlfriends during sex, people eating your food in the fridge, someone used the washing machine, left his clothes there or didn't drain the water, till it stank...etc

It's not because they're foreigners. my brother in Germany has 2 flatmates, an Indian girl and an Albanian, he also complains about her spicy, savoury indian food and messy bathroom

That is flatmate life!

If you don't like it, you pay extra and have your space

Things we have to endure living in a shared house. So far, these are the bullshits I have been enduring:

1. One of my housemates told me to please walk more slowly and gently while climbing stairs as it disturbs her downstairs.

2. One of the bottles of wine I kept in the fridge went missing, my fruits go missing too.

3. One told me to always close the kitchen door when cooking as the smell makes him uncomfortable.

4. A note was left by a housemate to keep the TV volume down between a certain time as she would be doing a nightshift and needed to sleep.

5. Another note on the kitchen sink by one that she doesn't share her mugs, plates and spoons.

6. Constant triggering of the fire alarms almost: everyday depending on who is cooking.

7. Housemates not willing to clean the common areas.

8. Housmates ignoring you when they drive by even when they see you on the roadside in the rain.

9. One asked me, I heard you're some kind of professional, what do you really do huh

10. Most never remember my name grin

11. There is a whatsapp group for us, we're just four in the house, but no one responds to any questions you ?post on it. They're all whites by the way.

12. If you don't bring out your clothes from the washing machine on time, they just evacuate it an? dump on a dirty surface for you rather than tell you even though you just saw each other seconds ago.

13. Waiting to use the bathroom especially in the mornings and skipping shower sometimes to avoid! being late to work.

I'll add more if I can think of anything else.

So it's not all rosy cry
