All these online beggars surfaced immediately Blowjobs sent airtime to some Nairalanders. Because the brother intimated that he may send readers something for Christmas, they now think he's Santa-claus.

This thread is about people living in Yankees who want to share the experiences. Let's keep it that way!

Lol i warned Blowjobs about this issue when he mentioned to share Xmas gift etc, that it would bring more folks after thinking he's santa.

Mrs K na like that girl wey you bring from "village" to city.

You know how village girl dey do their first few months in the city.
Exception is that is Mrs K's lifestyle.

The con is that she doesn't know how to keep a secret (just like her sister). grin. She believes if she tells someone when i am there, its still kind of a secret. grin

i must kiss my wife everytime i see her (doesn't matter if i haven't brushed my teeth). Reply to her "i love you" sentence. Cuddle when we watch movies, talk about our issues (na dis one hard pass. We aint raoswd to comnunicate our problems). Tell her what i want for lunch/dinner. Tell her the gift i wanr for xmas ( Na gift nah, why should i say what i want)
She's sensitive. She says i make her happy everytime and she's never been this happy her entire life. So, I have to be happy too. I had issues recently from home and i broke down. I didn't communicate, and kept it all to kyself cos i don't wanna bother her. She became sad (she doesn't have to tell, her face becomes pale and eyes pink). She can't bare watching me struggle. She aske me over and over. Now, i am learning to connunicate better. We still get into arguments, silly arguments

I think part of it is how we are raised. We don't question things. We do things because that's what we are told to do. We can't question elders. So most of us don't communicate when we have issues. We kept them bottled in trying to deal eith it ourselves.
grin grin grin Gademmit!!! i need a white Girl/Woman in my LIF3!!!!

All what you mentioned in 1, 2, & 3 has to do with payment which I have earlier discussed before, so I don't care so long I pay 4,500 and I receive a bonus of 11,250 to call all networks. And if you don't pay they won't take it away as you've mentioned in your first point, they will only call to encourage you to pay like dstv...that's all
As regards your point 4...You can always maximize the use, it's not compulsory you exhaust the battery with heavy gadget whenever there is no enough sunlight to recharge the system
As regards your point 5...your arithmetic is wrong. Subscriber will pay 270,000 in 5 years if he is paying 4,500 per month. Pls recalculate
You aren't making any valid point in 6 since the subscriber can discontinue at any point in time
Ok! best of luck sir and do have a nice weekend
Technology Market › Re: A Sincere Review Of Mtn Lumos Solar Electricity by error4040:
pobeaf:
Free as the sun is can you generate electricity from it with nothing? I know how much inverter, solar battery, solar panel and installation cost. So also I know that I will be responsible for its repair unlike MTN Lumos that would be repaired or replaced by MTN for the next 5 years if the need arises.
I recharge my line 4,500 monthly to subscribe the light and receive 11,250 promo on better talk which I use to call all networks...so it pays me
Mtn Lumos is not for everybody, it's for those who don't have regular supply of electricity or those who don't have light at all.
Since morning I've been using my laptop with no disturbing noise of generator or having to think of where to get petrol.
And why did you not mention this

1. You must pay for a minimum of 20 days in a
month or it will be taken away from you.
2. If you use it even for just one hour in a day you pay the full daily price.
3. It will cost you about N3,000 per month for
very limited power.
Now 4500

4. It is low capacity. With small sized TV it will
run out in not more than 2-3 hours in the night
may be better during the day. On days when it
rains and heavy cloud with little sunshine you will
have no light especially if you exhausted it the
previous night.
5. You will only stop paying after 5 years and by
then, the battery will probably be dead.
Paying outright it would cost N402,000.
If paying over 2 years it would be N447,000 over
the 2 year period.

6. This is just mindless money-making by MTN
and Lumos and I suspect that it will fail for lack of
patronage they may be force to increase their Price later on.
Technology Market › Re: A Sincere Review Of Mtn Lumos Solar Electricity by error4040:
@Op what i dont understand is payment of N150 daily when the device uses Sun and solar panel Abi Mtn now own The Sun ?.
Why not buy solar Panel instead youre busy shouting its just for N150 daily that those who cant Afford to pay N150 the device is not ment for Them, To me thats pure Bullshit! Why ?
Well why dont they give the device for free? but instead they sale the device and still charge you for Using it. or please kindly
do the Math N150 X 30 = N4500 huh

NB: A penny wise Nigerian should boycott this Capitalist company and it device for They are not planning to help but to milk average nigerians

I really understand you bro. Your action is not different from that of an average Nigerian girl who would fall for a man and accept to marry him because of the size of his wallet. Gulf region is an emerging market where you can be opportune to meet even younger American ladies in events who would love you for who you are not for your wallet. Having said, Americans are extremely emotional people, she can wake up one morning and seek for a divorce. PS: Be informed that you guys ought to be married for at least 2years which gives you temporary green card from the time of marriage, after which the condition will be lifted in the second year and you get get your official green card. Then after 3years of marriage, you apply for citizenship. Your temporary green card is more like a premium visa (premium in the sense that you enjoy the priviledge other permanent resident but stil temporaral because is valid for 2years) and if you guys divorce before the 2nd year in marriage, you stay out of status at the end of the 2years in order words, you will be an "ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT." So my brother think twice considering who have had several affairs. Have you asked yourself why she don't last in relationship and the average time she has lasted in a relationship. Does she have any criminal record, because if she does, you could be indicted in the future for what you don't know because you're her spouse. Yankee love dey sweet but no be for tokumbo like this. THINK TWICE.
Seconded

I really dont know how to explain this.. You might get married and decided not to file for you. She might just keep you indoors and servicing her without you working.

Also she might not be working and you work while she controls your money. Imagine a situation of paying bills and catering for 4kids.

Some of those Akatas are very mean but always pretend to be nice. You really dont want a burden on yourself. Worst she give birth and you are stuck for the rest of your life..

Use b1 visa for vacation, spend time in US, MEET people and there you might be fortunate, build a relationship, come back home and everything go dey alright.

My advice might not be pleasing to your hearing but I want the best for you as a fellow nigerian.

Pls reconsider.

So I met this woman on a social forum. Early 40s, 4 kids lives in southern America. She is African American.
We have become good friends. I live in Gulf region and she is talking of coming to visit me next year.i am late 20s. We are also talking possibility of marriage when she comes. I work in construction in the Gulf while she works as home care nurse in Southern America.

Problem is she has been married 3 times. All to foreigners.

First husband...from caribbean country...had two kids but divorced b4 green card can be given. (He remarried and living in same state with her. Now a citizen)

2nd husband.....a Nigerian who paid her for papers. No strings attached. No love.

3rd husband....another African who she married for love. They married for 4 years. The guy got his papers and left without saying good bye. No kids

Other 2 kids are from a boyfriend...never married.

Now the lady feels that Men Always Leave. I have promised I wont leave if she gives me kids. (I intend to keep that promise) I know she dont believe me though.

Questions
1. If we marry and i come over on spouse visa, can i work on the visa
2. Can i study also on the visa
3. How long can i stay on the visa without applying for green card (incase she gets cunny and refuse to file for me based on her past experience with the African guy)
4. Seeing that she has married 3 times, will it complicate and delay the greencard process if she eventually agrees to file for me

I ask these cos i know she is now paranoid and thinks i would leave after i get papers. I dont mind staying with her after my papers...but i wanna be sure I can live, work and study in America on spouse visa for a long w until she feels confident and trustful enough to file for green card for me. Dont wanna come to America on visa type that wont allow me to work and study
