U take it to ministry of foreign affairs in Abuja, they will do it for you, its just putting a stamp on the certificate

I checked with the school, they don't provide accommodation and I can't send the rest of the documents without the ones from the Landlord

Maybe you should check with people living in Mauritius, or in the visa form, add Student life residence, then check their website, I'm sure they are on xmas break now, but just add it on the visa form,

1 : Accommodation letter

2 : Proof of accommodation

3 : Letter from Landlord

4 : proof of address ( utility bill )

You should check your school if they help with accomodation...have you sent other documents to them?

Middlesex is better because they have more international students especially from Nigeria and the school is well regulated than Curtin.
Curtin is owned by An Australian university while Middlesex is owned by a UK University.

MDX, i haven't gotten the visa yet, the police clearance thing is just messed up, none of the methods of payment online could work, i paid a contact 60k to run am for me for Lagos

Yes I did police clearance... you can do that police clearance online... if you go in, those guys will be charging you 45k or more, when the actual amount you pay is 30k and you'll just gobin there for capturing. You can monitor the progress online.

Well what I will advice you on this is change another course because no embassy will grant you visa that extends the duration of your passport validity
So switch to another course that is either 2yrs or 3yrs, that way there will still be months left in your passport validity.

Go on possap.ng.gov, fill and pay the fee, then visit Louis Edet house(police headquarters) for biometrics and final steps of the process.

I also live in Abuja so if you want to get police character. Just go to area 10 at police FCT Command. Got mine there but make sure you don't allow those police outside to help you inflate it. Make sure you enter by yourself, go to the second floor and straight to the end of that floor. If you need me to give you the number of the officer, just contact me and I'll send you her number then you can just call her when you get to the fct command gate

I'm sorry I don't have information about both schools to help you navigate your choice, it's only my school I have information about them.
But if I'm to recommend, I suggest you for for Middlesex, the school is kinda popular for here sha.
You can make more research online about both schools and gather your public review about them, then that way it will help you to choose among them
