Politics / Re: What Are Your Thoughts On Universal Basic Income by Ertugrul: 9:02am On Apr 14
Minsk24:

Communism? This could be a possibility, if majority of the people are not working , then the government may step in to control some sectors of the economy to ensure there's enough for everyone, like Agricultural sector ..
This is very possible...hmmmmm
True
Politics / Re: What Are Your Thoughts On Universal Basic Income by Ertugrul: 8:55am On Apr 14
Minsk24:

Yes for sure, but at what cost?
For example, California has a new law which increases minimum wage for some restaurant chains, some of them are shutting down or relocating, imagine this scenario in 20 years from now, these restaurants will simply buy more robots, lay of some workers amd and save cost on the long run ...by then these AI robots will be cheaper and more efficient
Very True...
A world of Universal Basic Income, how then can humans be productive, if we all get paid by government, we may see a shift towards Communism
Politics / Re: What Are Your Thoughts On Universal Basic Income by Ertugrul: 8:46am On Apr 14
This is concerning,
On the flip side, it will make cost of production cheaper for business owners..

Nigeria needs to be sold and the proceeds distribued equally into our bank accounts, everybody find your own new country.
Nigeria as an entity has expired and needs to be disposed.

Exactly, despite his incompetence, there was still anxiety wether he will handover power at the end of his tenure...if Buhari had delivered on the campaign promises that brought in the APC, buhari would probably still be president today
Very true

I agree, buhari would have been thjs figure if he was competent, dude really messed up

Even tho i supported obi, I wasn't emotionally invested coz i did not see a free and fair elections happening....
I still had this feeling that he will win against all odds, like a miracle will happen
Politics / Re: What Elections Have You Been Most Emotionally Attached To? by Ertugrul: 7:41am On Apr 10
The last presidential election, i supported Obi, my emotions was heavily invested in the last election...

I also will highlight the last election in Edo and the Edo no be lagos Movement, i was so heavily invested in obaseki winning, it really felt good to see Apc loose that election

Politics / Re: Why Revolution Is Difficult In A Liberal Democracy by Ertugrul: 9:36am On Mar 05
Minsk24:

Yes it is very important to have plans for what happens after the revolution, a simple revolution in form of protest might spiral into complete breakdown of law and order and eventually armed uprising....but like i said, such things will not easily happen in a liberal democracy like Nigeria
Hmmmm, u are correct
Politics / Re: Why Revolution Is Difficult In A Liberal Democracy by Ertugrul: 8:39am On Mar 05
I agree with your point of view.... everybody in Nigeria is complacent of the problem we have today...it will be very difficult to overthrow the government via protest in Nigeria...
Coz even if u do, who will replace them? We should be careful before anarchy descends on the land

Romance / Re: What Can Someone Deduce About You From Your Social Media Accounts by Ertugrul: 9:37pm On Feb 28
Minsk24:

Its quite strange for a deep thinker like you to not be a fan of Messi and Pep, these two guys embody everything a deep thinker, lover of philosophy, and co would Love..
I really find it strange...
What pages would i see on your Facebook regarding your history interest? I have lots of Roman history pages on my Facebook
I am also a forex trader and imagine our Facebook will not be too different, i just have a few pages on trading psychology i follow, i also have my content filled with financial markets contents, stocks and co from cnbc, Yahoo finance, Bloomberg
Interesting to see how things we love define the content of our social media
I agree with you on ur assertion regarding Messi and guardiola...a person who loves art would surely be drawn towards Messi, they way he plays the ball and does stuff that stats cant capture, really amazing, a deep thinker would love Messi even if u are a cr7 fan
What can i say about guardiola, the man that's always inventing stuffs and soaring to new heights...
I agree with you....

Moroccans and Algerians might be neighbors but they're never brothers⚠️

They have been at war with each other since the creation of time, infact more than half of their yearly national budgets goes to the purchase of arsenals and war tanks☠️☠️☠️

Very true , i do not know the origin of the dispute but Morocco supported secessionist groups in Algeria while Algiers backed Western Sahara which Morocco claims...it is crazy how such neighbors hate each other and have closed borders....such economic losses

Romance / Re: Why Messi Swooped All Awards This Year by Ertugrul: 12:32pm On Jan 19
Minsk24:
I agree with this suggestion...
And the calendar year for the award should be January to December, so everyone is clear...
With this method, everybody will know the likely winner....
Yes the suggestion makes sense...but i fear it may make players to be too focused on stat when playing
Romance / Re: Why Messi Swooped All Awards This Year by Ertugrul: 12:32pm On Jan 19
Where did u get this voting list from?
Politics / Re: What Areas, sectors, Laws E.t.c Would You Love To See Reformed by Ertugrul: 10:25am On Jan 17
Tokyo24:
The Format for deciding fifa best player should be overhauled, the award will loose relevance if it continues this way...the voting format will always favor popularity over performance..i am a Messi supporter, but i dont see why he should win it this year since he won fifa best in 2022...
I suggest a new format where the player with the most MOTM awards should win the ballon dor or fifa best...
Motm awards should be decided on a point based system,
Goals scorers should have points
Assist providers should have point
Chance creators should have points
Tacklers should have points
The highest point earner should be MOTM....
This will give fair chance for every footballer irrespective of position, strikers take up all the accolades, this is not fair ..
wow this makes sense to an extent, make i think this tru thoroughly

Nice thread bro. The thread will open the eyes of many christians on many of their beliefs. Many athiests will also learn a lot if they will humble themselves and dig deeper. These things are highly spiritual. Only those with deep knowledge in spirituality can answer your questions. Spirituality is the mother of religion. Science is a school boy where spirituality is. They can only explain things they can see. Many things they can't see they have no knowledge. Do they have knowledge on how the pyramid were contructed here on earth or who engineered them? Why are pyramids found in Mars? All this will tell you that their are those who came from above and dwell here. They were half gods, half men. We only knew 20% of what they knew. Many things things they did in the ancient world were sunk in Atlantis. The world today don't have their kind knowledge. They are your ancient ancestors.
Those pyramids are amazing, who knows what the original purpose for building them .
and u also find them across different areas of the world

We as humans are no longer babies, there's nothing that we cannot comprehend, so to say we should humbly accept what we don't know is not logical or sensible...we must strive to attain knowledge and continuously understand the world around us ...
Because we don't understand Spirituality from a scientific aspect today, it shouldn't stop us from asking questions, this is to enable us transfer the curiosity and research to the next generation to carry on from where we stop
U have a point, but this is really beyond our understanding so far
Religion / Re: Alien Disclosure Thread (countdown) by Ertugrul: 1:07pm On Dec 17, 2023

In my opinion, Spirituality is a field of science that we are yet to understand...
Logical Analysis for my response
By science, i infer that for anything to happen, there must be guiding principles for it to happen, if there are guiding principles in the workings of Spirituality, then it is a scientific process that can be studied....
For example, in my university days, i was friends with some NBM guys who did juju to make them immune to gunshots and machete cuts, they juju man gave them a ring, on the condition that rain water should not touch the ring ...
Looking at this scenario, it means that there could be properties of rainwater that could interfere with the workings of the juju.
Hmmmm

first, what is spirituality?

what does it mean to understand it?

if we cant understand it ,then what can we determine about it?

how do u know that ur existence proves the universe?
Good questions, i wish i have an answer...
We are here to learn, if u have nuggets, please drop them...with logical analysis as stated by the OP
