Philly offense don freeze. No free way to dunk or shoot 3 points. They better wake up. |
I am sure some have seen me say City United points gap can be 14 by simply not removing 3pts for City before United play WBA. Can be done by removing those points after the league is done. Can even be done gradually. Only doing it time wise will make a fair comparison. Not to come now that league is won to remove more points for City than United and ask why they have less points to win the league. All to prove they were to win the league by game 29 in a 34 match league. All those Amala turning I am accused of is from people who ignored everything I said to hold on to one aspect when they are all connected. |
What was I pointing out by mentioning those teams? That the points will be changing systematically that would still give City the estimated 15pts+ gap I was talking about. You knew this but for misdirected red mist you keep going on and on. How does timeline work for the umpteenth time? Before "game 29" City had to be ahead of United by 11pts according to you people's voodoo maths (to prove they could not win the league by then). City lost game 29 to move back to 8pts and then beat Tot to go back to 11 because United lost to WBA. That is your 87-12/71-7 Maths abi? Good. Now remember that before that game 29 you had already removed 3pts extra from City yet United had not played WBA. That is why the points gap was 11. If you left City's gap at 14 (Removing 3 wins and waiting for the WBA game vs United) City stood a chance of winning the league by game 29 (which they would not with your 11pts myth). Now United losing to WBA after that game will not matter (because we subtract that game) and yet City have won the league. That is why I told you timeline and when to remove the points will skew everything up. Edit: if you just do your 87-12/71-7 maths, you will only see 11pts. So in the same way, the points diff between City and Utd will fluctuate if we are removing those games you want in the way the league season panned out. The maths involved is not the rubbish you or him tried to force down my throat and I said it from inception. |
Ibime:When you guys have nothing to say, you stretch little facts or outrightly lie. When your guy swooped in to form punctilious police, I told him to swerve because the you I was interacting with knew I was estimating. Then he struck that my post and made his rejoinder (you have above) to which I responded below: Eruditor:Don't lie that it was long after. The post is there for all to see. I mentioned timeline because I knew even when you choose to remove the points will affect the gap by that game 29. All these your stories are here to paper over your shallow argument. Now you want me to accept that 87-12 and 71-7 is not a fair method to balance the maths when I had been saying from the jump that the maths was skewed by something as little as timing and you even barged to claim it was inaccurate. |
Ibime: Eruditor: Eruditor:Before he rolled out the calculators I already told him I made estimates because going exact will bring some of these issues I am now dousing. You just got excited because you saw 11pts gap and you are not trying to justify why that is so. I am 16pts ahead of someone, you decide to deduct 12 from me and 7 from him of course I will only be ahead by 11 now. Duuuh? Yes I agreed to remove WBA and Stoke after stating more than once that I would adjust the timeline. Is that not what I am doing now? I can adjust the timeline back to WBA game in week 25, if I remove those points from City I have to remove Swansea for United because at that point they were the 2 worst teams and both City and United will lose equal points. Not this voodoo maths where you want to do 87-12 for city but 71-7 for United. How will you give me your condition without subscribing to my own? That is fa fa fa foul! |
Ibime:% completeness is cold zobo You gave me your interpretation of the %: City won the league with 13% to go whilst Bayern won it with 15% to go. I told you the difference between the 2 figures is negligible. .13(38) = 4.94 .14(34)= 5.1 the diff is .16(of a match) That is like saying City won the league in the 14th min of the next match day after Bayern won it. That is laughable yet you keep shouting %completeness like Archimedes was yelling "eureka". I concede I asked for 34 games because the maths is basic. If City won at 87% of the league then 87% of 34 is 29.5 so City won the league at half time of the game 30. LOL. These are estimates. The table shows 5 matches to go for both. If that is how more difficult the "hard" EPL is...I agree. You are right. |
Ibime:I am exhausted. I told him timeline had to fluctuate. I said so because I knew removing those points now will be to City's disadvantage. To further buttress my point, I removed the same points from City and United even after City had secured the league but it showed them 4pts behind United. That should already tell you something was wrong. To elucidate further, I showed you that City won all games against the current last 2 teams so they will have 12pts to lose should we remove them. United picked only 7 so would lose only that number. This is a loss of 5pts which when added to your 11 gives the 16pts that City currently leads by. This again shows how time has skewed the maths. Lastly, I used the fact that the last 2 teams could change. United picked more points from Swans and Crys than City. Use them as the last 2 teams City 87-10=77 Utd 71-12= 59. Now City are 18pts ahead. I just estimated that ceteris paribus City should maintain the same 15+ points that they are currently ahead by. That is the only way to compare if City would have won the league before or on the same time as Bayern - which was my claim. |
SIRcumalot:Lebron hype is the issue. I don't think anybody has said he is not the best player in the NBA. But is he the MVP for this season? No. GOAT? No. Perfect? No. Helpless? No. Yet someone will argue it to ridiculous levels, insult everyone that disagrees and troll other players (like Jordan) hypocritically. |
Ibime:Is it not "if" we did to get a 34 game schedule? When we remove 3pts from City for WBA should we not remove 3 too from United then because Swansea were the 2nd worst team by then? You would see that at the times of removing points, the 2 worst teams will change which could even make United more than 16pts behind. And all that is because you want to claim that Pep did not walk the EPL whereas he did and could have done so 6 games to spare which was not possible in Germany. THE END. |
Ibime:But that 29th game is against United? If they draw the 29th game, they win the league, no? |
Ibime:I am not going to waste my time over-analyzing this. Because I would be arguing voodoo figures on your own turf. City had more points to gain and therefore lose by beating both teams now whereas United had 5pts less. That is why at this point in time 75 to 64 will make City only 11pts ahead. This therefore means City should have been 14pts ahead before playing United (because by YOUR figures they lost that game to drop it back to 11 right?). So what game on a 34-game schedule would that have been? It has to be game 29 (because you have removed 4 games from 33) so think of it: City are 14pts ahead by game 29 with 5 games to go. They only need a draw to secure the league title not a win that they needed by game 32 of a 38 game schedule. So they still win the league at the same time Bayern win the Bundesliga which puts paid to the poser your comrade was trying to raise. You just analyzed yourself into making my point all along: That at the barest minimum, City wins the "harder" EPL same time it took Heynckes to walk an easier German league. Enough said. Edit: and you said timing does not matter but it does. The 2 worst teams could end up being Swansea and Crystal Palace in which United will lose 12pts and City only 10 (if they beat Swansea on the 22nd). Removing both will mean 102-10 = 92 and 86-12= 74 (18pts) will Indicate that City could have won the league before game 28 of a 34 game schedule. That is why I said timing matters. |
Eruditor: |
airmark:I don tire. Did I not tell you that your method will change the timeline? I can help out. If City decide to lose every game from now till season end whilst United wins all. City will have 87 to United's 86. Then if I decide to remove 12pts for WBA and Stoke from City and 7 for united (City will have 75pts to United's 79pts). Which means in a 34 game season United will win the league. Does it make sense? No because of the time I am removing the points. You are to calculate as though both teams never played WBA or Stoke. Not to remove points from both based on what they got from both teams (without following chronology). So 87-12( at this point) compared to 71-7 at this point is voodoo analysis. Except you remove equal points from both sides. |
airmark:This is a 34 game season recall and I told you that being exacting will make the points fluctuate because of timing. For e.g removing City’s game 25 (Westbrom) will mean City would have played 1game less than United whilst being 11pts ahead. Agree? Edit: don’t be in a hurry to gloat I am watching basketball here. LOL |
airmark:LOL. United played Stoke twice and WestBrom twice. They took 4 from stoke and 3 from Westbrom before today. So remove 7 before today. Which means City are ahead with 14pts with 29games played (in a 34game season). |
I legit thought Cavs will blow out Pacers so I did not watch the game. I cannot believe my eyes. Where is ZeusSkrill? |
airmark:You are just regurgitating Ibime’s misappropriated words. How can someone ask me to cut out Stoke and Westbrom and then when I do and show him the implications of that condition. Turns around to say I am making conditional statements. Is it not an “if” argument to say in 34 games City would have won the league in 31 games? Is that not what Ibime claimed? LOL. |
Greatihex:Pep won sextuple. He had Xavi and Ini. Why did they not win before or after. Well they won treble after. Yea, 4years after with the crux of the team changing. Nobody calls the manager who spent a chequebook guy. Because nobody called him a genius. Well, the other guy they call genius won more than the others who came after right? Are you saying he won treble consistently? And I’m like WTF? |
airmark:LOL. Still forming activity. We are past that type of argument because time of losing will make points diff to flunctuate. For e.g United losing today made it go back to 16 whereas it was 13 just before and 16 before they played themselves (City vs United). That is why even if the points lost from both teams is 2more for City. It does not matter. |
Greatihex:Pep won more within the same time frame abi? |
airmark:You are just forming activity. The person I am posting at understands the estimations. United picked only 3pts from Burnley and City picked 4. Same for Leicester where City picked 6 and United 4. They will make up the same 16pts that it is today without Stoke or Westbrom. I did not need to write them out he already knew. I just brought out the most glaring source of 12pts for City that LFC and United will not have. Which still puts City at winning the league latest 29games in. |
