All I’d tell Lillard is, take it in your stride. This only shows there is still more to improve on. Great players face adversity it is the reaction that matters. I know I trolled him a bit, but he is pure fire. Just use the first few days to chill in Cancun with your girl and the new boy. Then watch film after the vacation and go to work.

As for NOPs and AD, worrisome how fierce they were in the whole series. Shows the rankings can be misleading even though only one game split them from the 3rd placed Trailblazers.

GSW would have a definite problem containing AD so we might as well not bother too much about him. Make sure Jrue and Rondo have bad games. It is possible.

Here is my problem with Lillard: He thinks he is influencing a game by bombing long range 3s. It may look okay when it works but most times it is just senseless.

Dribble this ball and bend the NOP defence so your other guys can get a rhythm. They will help you later because it will force NOP to change their defensive scheme which will give you space to bomb your 3s and drive to the rim.

How can you think that play was Embiid? It had Reddick written all over it.

Kane is not fit. Eriksen was very good first half but tapered off this second half. He could have made better decisions atimes.

The Spurs are obviously playing with added motivation for Pop and his family and have found a way to get to the paint by driving through the lane. Your Warriors are having some difficulty matching T. Parker at the point as he has been crashing the board with strong drives. However, the Warriors pushed the pace of the game which meant the Spurs could not set their half-court defense consequently conceding some terrific jumpers from Durant who has been awesome. Durant finished the half with 2 fouls and that is something to keep in mind.

Minnesota is not an easy opponent. Warriors are playing the weakest team in the western playoff. And I believe Rockets match-up well with the Warriors. If anything, they are more ready for warriors than any other team. Their real test will be in the semis if they play against OKC

I am not worried about Rockets. I am annoyed at Minnesota there is a difference. Just like everyone expected Spurs to beat Memphis last season but we were happy at how close the games were. A team with KAT, Wiggins, Crawford, Teague, Gibson, Butler etc should not be scoring 82pts in the playoffs except the other team has 80 or 84.

As for match up bla bla, don’t get too excited. I stopped watching Houston after the first Q yesterday but they did not impress me in their first win. In fact, if that Houston team played GSW (without Curry) that way, they would lose by 20.

Chucking 3s in transition is not what you can do sustainably against GSW. The reason Spurs look bang average is because we have snuffed that out of them including their midrange game. Try to watch basketball a few times without seeing the team you are stanning for’s strong points. It helps.

You see the way people rave about Andre Roberson and now Jrue Holiday because of the smothering D Roberson played before getting injured or in Drue’s case what he is doing to Lillard? Well, those are two players Curry used to abuse like banned drugs. Add CP3 to that list.
