This is what angered me the most. The people defending the penalty are being clever by half. Juventus always needed at least 4 goals to go through so whatever goal allowed or disallowed for RM was inconsequential. Even at 3-1 Juventus needed one goal.

In the last seconds of a high profile match you don't want to become the centre of attraction for nothing. To decide a game with a penalty, you'd need to see raw blood or for someone's knee to completely shift.

Even if Michael Oliver refused to give the penalty that game would have gone into extra time so it is not like RM were on the verge of going out.

CP3 is a core reason the Clippers failed during the assembly. He was undisciplined/ selfish and these behaviors were detrimental and contagious within the group.
