And thats why i'm pissed cause now you can claim the facts have changed when your analysis was wrong to begin with.
You should know who you are talking to. When I am being emotional with my opinion, you would know. I don't like Rockets enough to big them up. That fact is well-known. I was calling it as I saw it. Colin Cowherd is as big a Lebron fan as any journalist. But even he is not sold on the team. You need to know the difference between someone saying a team won't win and that they don't have good players. If you had 11 Lionel Messi's on one team, they won't win as well. The Lakers team don't have balance and Lebron does not have enough to play heroics to cover those lapses anymore. Even in Cavs, the decline was getting palpable. They eked out a game 7 win against the Celts. And could not take the Lakers from 35 wins to 48 which the Clippers did. So if you are seeing a 20 game swing on the LAL because of your roster. Great for you. I don't see it. I see it with the Clippers. They had 48 before Kawhi and can very well get 12 more with him and PG. Their defence is solid and they have good interior and some perimeter shooting.

Think critically about your LAL and convince yourself that they are as good. You won't convince me.

As a Madrid fan I wanted Neymar than hazard in my team. A proven winner already and now I don't want Neymar in Barcelona, Because I take joy in seeing them fail on the biggest stage lol. They need him for the Champions league and to upgrade their attack which will disturb us. So for now I support Bartomeu lol.
The most delusional sect are resident on this thread.

If you lose CR7 and you have between Hazard and Neymar to select a replacement, a sane person will choose Hazard?

The only reason Barca are being hesitant is vendetta. A player we need. We know we can't win another UCL with this present roster and Messi might be depressed following this Copa America.

You supported the other guy who asked me a dumb question then went on to do the same thing I just did. Even when what you are saying is pure conjecture.

Do you realize that before Mbappé left Monaco FC to PSG he offered himself to Barca and RM but neither felt he was worth the money? So how did RM ALWAYS want him?

Meanwhile, there is factual evidence that RM got outbid by Barca for Neymar and that they courted the same player last season.

You keep making your points like a dumb analyst to be honest. You're Rob Parker 2.0. You say LeBron can't shoot? Lol. And how much did father time expose his barrelling into players and getting to the rim last season? He had better numbers than the season before, so unless you can come up with evidence that father time is slowing him down, don't come up here giving me rhetoric analysis.

And Chris Paul is the second best player on that Rockets team so it's not out of place to zero in on him.
Lebron Cannot shoot. Every fool knows it. But you are less than every fool so I understand why you don't know or see it. LOL @ Better numbers. With all the usage, lack of efficiency and stat-padding. Do you pray for a brain during your spare time? Why do you think nobody talked about Russell's triple double but instead praised PG 13 on the same team or why did Harden not win MVP in spite of his historic numbers? Three syllables: Stat- Pad- ding. That is the answer.

Ok. Father time is not slowing him down. Make we dey watch. I am eager to hear the excuses you would make. I already know Vogel will be blamed for it. Which reminds me, last season, Lakers were ranked higher than the Raptors before the season began. Then they did not even make the playoffs whilst the Raptors won the chip.

I almost wanted to ignore the rubbish about CP3 but may be just may be there is still an aspect of your brain that is not maggot infested. CP3's game was never based on the things age steals from players which is why the Rockets had no fear in giving him a huge contract. If your analysis of the Rockets chances are based on CP3 you are just typing for the sake of it.

I remember when they said the young Lakers core won 35 games without Lebron and so with him they will win 50 games. EL-O-EL

So the heavy Iso ball that the rockets play is what you think will win them a championship. I can say for a fact if they play that way, Harden will gas out before the WCF and once again people like Max will say he choked. The rockets are far from a championship in my won book.
Your own book is wrong and I don't really care about Max Kell anymore because he is paid to say dumb shit. Harden gasses out in the playoffs, yes, but so does everyone else. Even Kawhi was tired in the playoffs. Are they iso heavy? Yes. Precisely why their style though efficient against others, failed to overturn GSW. Because they could not stay efficient enough to compete. Problem is, that same style will be efficient against 95% of the rest of the NBA. You can bookmark this post. If they stay healthy and maintain the same core. They are better than the Lakers.

Thank you Eruditor.. You just explained the reason why I said this Lakers team cannot beat the Rockets (at least the Rockets team we saw last season). There will always be the hype (with or without AD and co.) because this is LBJ's team and na Lakers, but with what I am seeing, this Lakers team is not invisible. A very strong team when healthy, but any injury to LBJ or AD and them don enter panic mode. WC go smoke this coming season, I believe more surprises r still coming. Eruditor, follow port come Clippers na!! You go lowkey dey follow em' splash brothers. grin grin
Tbh, this season will give me a chance to rest and watch basketball without threatening palpitations. For the first time in a while I don't have expectations like before, so that should help me. In other words, I humbly decline the Clippers bandwagon even though I know they have the best chance when fit. Defence wins you titles, and they have it.

It's funny how you keep saying LeBron is getting old and at the same time asking what changed about the Rockets. Is that not flat out ignorance/hatred for LeBron? Like he's the only one that gets old. Lol. For you one more year for LeBron probably makes him more useless(which isn't the case if you look at the rising stats in the past few years), but one more year for CP3 and he remains the same, or even better.
Can Lebron shoot? nope. Free throws? nope. Defend? Not like before. So what are the upsides to his game? Barrelling into players, traveling and dunking? Yea. Those are the very things that father time exposes the fastest. I ignored your daft post about a groin injury because you are the same idiot who did not listen to GSWs own injury so save that for the marines.

You look at the whole Rockets team, and zero in on CP3 like he is their best player. LOLOLOL.

You are not retarded. You and the other schizo dumbo are sharing the same brain which is majorly air and nothing else.

About Boogie, there is plenty examples of other players who had such injuries and it took them a whole season to get their feet under them. This season I expect Boogie or Gordon Hayward to be the comeback story cause both have had some game reps to get up to speed
LOL. Boogie can't run up the court, can't defend and can't jump as well any more. There are still good aspects to his game, but he will be abused on defence and teams will just push up the pace against this Lakers team. LOL.

For the rockets, CP3 will be another year past his prime for one thing. Capella was exposed by GSW last year, so unless they somehow improve that roster I don't see the rockets making the WCF.
For Denver, the previous season they did not make the playoffs, last season they made it to the 2nd round and only lost IMO because of lack of experience. Now they are the only team with both continuity and with players who still have upside I.e jokic, Murray etc.
As for the Lakers I'm buying them as favourites, but if the PG13 trade has taught us anything, it is if the FO of a franchise is willing to go all in, it can make things happen.
You keep using GSWs success to judge the Rockets lol. GSW is the team Rockets were assembled to match. So Capella was exposed by GSW not Utah or any other team prior. And CP3 is not known for his athleticism. So age barely plays a role away from him being injured when he is needed. CP3 is a PG with great passing, midrange and free throw shooting. Something no other player on the Lakers roster can do better than him. None. And they have snipers on their perimeter. This is an aside from being a team that has gelled not one with an identity crisis. If your analysis is based on CP3 alone. That is a serious own goal.

IMO Denver is better than both rockets and Philly at least in the regular season. By the playoffs the Lakers will in all probability have added to the current roster since there is the news of them being willing to pay the luxury tax.
Also l expect load management to be a big thing this season and regular season seedings might not matter.
What changed about the Rockets? Apart from losing to GSW (who have their button) and perhaps the seeming discord between the star players they were 65 wins in 2017, 50+ wins in 2018 with all their injuries and tied 2-2 with GSW (With KD still on the team). The fact of the matter is, between 2017-18 only GSW would have beat the Rockets. They play this Raptors without injuries and they would have won. Now people have kept them aside. I don't see anything to shout about Denver. They are the ones who look like regular season hipsters. They had no reason to lose a game 7 against the Blazers without Nurkic last season. Perhaps, maybe that is why I don't respect them as such. Philly definitely improved with Al Horford joining. But they look top heavy as well so I know they are good but that is their asterisk. There is absolutely nothing the Lakers will add that will significantly change their fortunes. Nothing. The better players in the trade block have found franchises. Don't let this fake analysts create a narrative that won't see the light of day. Ask yourself one question, if Kawhi had stayed back in Toronto and the Clippers got some of the players that now went to the Lakers will anyone start telling us that the Clippers improved? So what changed?

And please don't tell us about AD and Bron improving people around them. We know that to be almost completely false. See George Hill and Rodney Hood for example. We also saw AD in Pelicans with a coach they claimed was the brain behind GSWs 2014/15 title. So what changed? What will he do differently?

Truth is, if RM knew Neymar wanted out they would have waited for him instead of getting Hazard. In fact, if they can sell Bale, they would go for Neymar. Let pride be doing Bartomeu when he knows he has failed woefully 2 seasons running.

You're changing the narrative. Before last season began the media was talking about how our team had so many strong-headed players like Lance, Rondo, Beasley and Bron, and they all felt the team won't be coachable. Don't act like you don't know. And most people said we might make the playoffs quite alright, but they said the WC semis at most.
Those were your role players and yes the media was really hyping them. Some even said Lebron was going to be the MVP. Nothing could be further from the truth. All the "I won't underestimate Lebron" expired in 2017. Be real with yourself. If you were so sure about this team, why did you want Kawhi?

Seeing as the lakers are the 5th best team in the west after they win it all and i call Lebron the GOAT you have no right to protest. You can't claim its because of his team. I have you right where i want you eruditor. I set the bait and i can't believe you fell for it, the other guy i didn't even have to set a bait for. You lot are so gullible LMAO!
The difference between me and you is you are not real with yourself. Lebron is past his best and AD is not a winner yet. You guys needed a Kawhi to take you over the hump. Cook, McGee and Cousins are people who were almost inconsequential to GSW winning, so how you think they somehow get to the Lakers and make your squad formidable is what makes me laugh.

You don't have me anywhere. I am just setting your expectations aright. You don't see me bigging up GSW for e.g or even the Celts. Those teams have lost some shine. You are building castles in the sky. You did so when Cavs played GSW in the last finals and same you turned around to say that same squad stood no chance. Whereas, I was already telling you about the impending sweep based on the personnel you guys had.

Lakers will not win a spoon. Lebron won't win anything in LA.

I 100% agree with you.

The thing is, a lot of people get swayed by the media and in a way they direct the fear factor teams command. See how everyone feared the Bucks last season or the Lakers before the season began.

Nobody said that Lakers squad was not good. Shows ran themes asking if the Lakers team could take GSW to game 7. A useless team that did not even make the playoffs.

I think you're right. The Lakers suck. They're a really bad team right now. How bad though? How many teams do you think are better than them in the NBA right now?
The lakers do not suck. They are better than they were last season how much better is what I don't agree with most journalists or even people here.

The best team in the NBA currently is the Clippers. The next best team, as things stand, between Philly and the Rockets. The third best team is most likely the Bucks. The long and short of it is, even in the west, the Lakers are at best 4th or 5th.
