You're talking rubbish. Release clause or not, it changes nothing. Inflation is inflation.
Just look at your argument.
I have now confirmed you know nothing. How can I inflate something that is supported by documents? Mercedes make a car and tell you the car is 2M and you tell them it is inflation? What a dumb way of reasoning.

Inflation will be that someone decided to sell that same car for 5M because he heard Dangote was the purchaser. That is inflation. VVD was purchased by inflation. Same player was agreed for 60M just months prior but when Chelsea and other clubs showed interest, Southampton raised the price to 75M and Liverpool still said, we will pay. Even when the player in question was not earning more than a player who was valued at 30M.

Release clause or not. If you go above the market selling prize especially when you don't have the requisite profile, that causes inflation.
Get it?
I am tempted to say you don't know how things work. There is no market value with a release clause. It does not work that way. Players sign contracts and in return for adding a clause in their contracts they ask their parent clubs for huge wages. Laporte did that and Bilbao placed his clause at 57M. Which meant that the only condition necessary for the player to be sold is if any club met that valuation. It was the same reason Wenger offered 40M for Suarez in 2013 and Liverpool would have been forced to sell but the player himself decided against leaving because of the pep talk Gerard gave him. I digress.

What was position before klop left ?
They were 7th but for most of the season courted relegation. As soon as he announced that he was leaving at the end of the season, the performance of the team improved fueling speculations that the players wanted him out.

I remember pep first season in England ,he came 3rd or 4th with the squad he inherited from pellegrini if you see as English media bash am you go fear ,now he guy player dem say e dey spend oil money ,shebi man you don dey spend money since and dem never win Epl recently
He finished 3rd with more points than Sarri or Poch will finish this season if either of them is 3rd. Yet we are not hearing chum.

What's your point really? You're trying to prove that Larpote going for the amount he went for without being an international didn't inflate the market?
How could he inflate the market when that was his release clause?

Compare that to VVD who was sold to the HIGHEST bidder. You guys should lie with style abeg.

Klopp got Karius from that same Budendliga..which better keeper dy there ?

Klopp signed Andrew Robertson for a mere £8m from an already relegated Hull city team and turned him to a beast!
Pep is a genius, but Klopp is a bigger genius abeg...don't let sentiment over cloud your judgment
Every freaking soul knew how good Andrew was before he was signed. He was only cheap because Hull were relegated. Same as Shaqiri from Stoke City. Of course Klopp is a top manager but he had Moreno so why did he still buy Andrew going by the questions you people ask.

Talking as if Zinchenko whom Pep uses as LB was signed for 50M.

Hope you know laporte will start for almost all top teams and even most big national teams? and laporte was having issues with deschamps because of his double mind to play for spain, even till now he has no cap for spain, But the same laporte is one of the epl best defender alongside van dijk? he help mancity win the league last season when he arrived january, hope you know john stones and otamendi has been sent to bench because of this guy? but hope you know stones is an england international and he is a starter? but a non french starter sent him to the bench

You cant expect deschamps to bench Umtiti and Varane for laporte, Never

Did klopp win the finals he went to with Dortmund? na only person wey win final we dey know o despite all team want to play in the finals, na only who win am be achievement, liverpool was brillant last season but they end up winning nothing just because the lost to madrid in the final, madrid was crappy last season but winning the champions league final saved their season

Pep has also been disgraced out of the champions league in barca by bayern, hope you remember the 7-0 bayern beat barca, so loosing makes pep a bad coach abi? you are already using that to berate him..... smiles
Take note Peo was the coach of Barca when they lost 7-0 to Bayern. The late Tito Vilanova was.

VVD wouldn't have cost 75 million if the transfer market wasn't blown apart by Man city. We are talking about a team who got Laporte with zero international French caps for £57 million.
By the way, Klopp got to the finals of the champions league with Dortmond on a shoe string. The man have proved himself to be top drawer. Pep with the mega bucks of Bayern was always disgraced out of the champions league.
All rubbish lies. Who did Pep buy when he won the sextuple?

Do you know why Laporte cost that much? Hahaha. That was his release clause. As soon as City met it, Bilbao had to sell. This was not "making them an offer they will not refuse" like Liverpool and Klopp did for VVD and Alisson. You people will lie about everything.

For Klopp to buy a defender of 75 million should tells you alot, if liverpool have the money they will give klop a blank check, van dijk was a risk at that buy but it has already paid of, which big team buys a a defender from Southampton for 75 million

If you ask most famous football pundits, managers and players, many will rate klopp above guardiola. Its not rocket science. I doubt guardiola will agree to coach Inter Milan for exa.ple because they wouldn't give him that much financial backing.

His spending notwithstanding, he has not been able to reach the champions league final not to talk of winning it. #SMH

You don't get my point do you? I have never said anything to discredit Pep as a good coach. I think he's brilliant but I have always maintained the Klopp has made more impact judging from where he picked up LIVERPOOL and and having to spend moderately to build until last season when the club built up cash reserve and invested heavily to match city.
If you had followed my argument, you will find out I have always maintained this point.

Guardiola on the other was given a blank check by City. Infact the main reason he joined Man city in the first place was because they promised to make cash available to him for whatever he wanted with no limits.
LOL, BTW he signed for City because they had been making plans to get him since 2011. They even hired the former Barca CEO just because they wanted him to lure Pep. Blank check ko.

Every time blank check yet you cannot justify why he refused to buy Pogba, Mbappé, Sanchez, Jorginho, Fred etc. Players he clearly wanted. You cannot explain why he converted Delph and Zinczenko to LBs when he could have just signed new LBs. LOL.

I know son from his Leverkusen days

Lucas has always been a good player ,psg get their own for Body sha

Lucas has been good since São Paulo days ,he and Neymar was the best player in Brazil league while Neymar playing at Santos ,Lucas was purchased at 45 million euros 7 seasons ago to psg at age 20 ,that should tell you the level of player he is

Wanyama was a beast at Celtic ,sissoko and wijnaldum was Newcastle best player back then .

I will not rate him ahead of pep ,pochetino has not won any trophy,he was supposed to win the Epl ahead of Leicester then because the Epl bigger boys where weak that season ,pochetino said his biggest moment was escaping relegation with espanyol ,maybe it will be changed after last night win against Ajax

Pochetino is good but I won't rate him ahead of pep .
Everyone wants to pretend they were not here when Poch crashed to lowly Leicester. Had it been Pep we would have been hearing it over and over and over.

Pls let's be balance. I love Pochetino and Kloop, in fact I will be sad because one of them will lose the final.
Let's not reduce the excellent work Guardiola has done with this man city team. If money could buy success, them Mourinho won't have been sacked.
He deserves real credit spending well. Another part you are downplaying is how he has improved almost every player of his squad.
Perhaps Pochetino will have been sacked if he was in a bigger team because he has not won anything at Tottenham, now that's the pressure that comes with coaching a bigger team. That's why I rate him as a top manager, spending money is not an issue spending it well is the main thing....nobody is talking about how much VVD was bought, because it has proved to be money well spent unlike Pogba. Moreover Guardiola has never broken the transfer record not forgetting the outstanding work he did at Barcelona.
If you love pure football, you will love Guardiola's team.
That is the question I asked them to mention one transfer record that Pep broke. Just one.

rodgers almost won the league with players such as mignolet, mamadou sakho, ageing kolo toure, lucas, joe allen with a sprinkling of quality like gerard, suarez, sturrigde so much for shitty squad.

mahrez was supposed to make an instant impact it hasn't quite worked out pep continued to worked unlike some coaches that will blame the failure to sign one miserly defender (maguire of all people smh) as the reason for squad imbalance
Mahrez was not even supposed to make an instant impact. Raheem was benched a lot in Pep's first season same as Bernardo. Every player takes time to gel and understand Pep's system.

The reason Klopp had to spend that much on a goalkeeper and a defender was because the likes of city and PSG have inflated the transfer market!
Check how much Klopp spent at Dortmund and how much he achieved with them..

He inherited a shitty squad from Rodgers.. He needed his own players to rebuild the team and that involved spending money...if Roma had asked for 200m for Alisson, Klopp would have paid it....if Southampton had asked for 500m for Van Djik, he would have paid it. he needed those players...

Unlike Pep that spent £60m on Mahrez to use him as a back up player, Klopp doesn't spend big on players he doesn't need in the starting eleven..
You guys talk from both sides of your mouth. Klopp needed to spend on a squad that finished 2nd before he came but Pep did not need to spend on a squad that were 4th equal on points with 5th place United?

Mention one transfer that City inflated. I am waiting.

That's why I rate him ahead of Pep. Guys like Rose, Alli, Keane, Tripper, Son where virtually unknown before working with Pochetino while Luca Moura was a caste off at Psg, Wayama and Sissoko were playing in small Premiership clubs, the less said about Llorente the better.
I have respect for people who achieve results with limited reasourses. It is a trait of sound leadership and good management.
LOL @ virtually unknown. So the Walker that City bought from him what about him? If he was a player that Poch was using does it not mean he too was virtually unknown when City got him? I don't know how you don't see how biased and shallow your arguments are. Gab Jesus, Zinchenko, Sané were they also known players? The core of City team did Pep purchase them abi he inherited them?

the point goodjoe is making is that other clubs are also not spending peanuts everyone has spent big to compete. when it gets to that point it's then coaching ability that will separate men from boys. let's even analyze who were the lynchpins for pep's success last season aguero, sterling, david silva, de-bruye, fernadinho, Kompany was it pep that bought all these guys?

one thing i always find funny is why the same energy is not maintained to criticize mourinho, alex ferguson, ancelloti to say they bought the league
You are so correct!

The core of his squad is the one he inherited. The rest are to augment the depth. He literally improved every single player in the club. All of them have exceeded their past performances bar none. I don't understand all these lies about money. The only player City signed this season was Mahrez. Add to that, KDB who was City's best player last year was out for long yet they are going to peep LFC to the title. How many times the key players go down and yet Pep reinvented the squad to compete. I don't know how people don't see that as great coaching. Someone even tried to make Zinczenko look like a formidable buy. A winger that Pep has turned to a LB. I can't deal.

Liverpool are having their best ever season historically (at least by numbers) but they are still behind this juggernaut called City. Somehow people forget the quality of City's play and make it look like City were always this way. I mean, every English team spent money. Chelsea have spent more in the last 2 seasons than City but nobody says peem about them.

Jerebko is a renowned spot up shooter. Sadly, that is not Curry's game even though he can thrive at it once in a while. So when I say spot up shooters like that will have a good game I know what I am saying. Also, Curry has no reason to be passive, there is no KD to bail us out. If KD is out, i predict, Curry will get at least 10 free throws in game 6, he will become the driver, and all fouls will become glaring. The guy gets fouled all day while doing his runs. Did you realize when Curry was driving in the 4th, a lot of guys were wide open for threes, draymond green and Jerebko especially.
I feel it will force him to not be cute and passive but to attack the paint as much as possible and collapse their defense. Expect players like Jerebko to play very well with the wide open shots they will have.

It won't be easy because Refs will cheat like they did in 15/16 to get an extension of a series but if Curry goes back to the guy he was even during the regular season, this will end in 6.
