smoosh20:He played with 4 fouls all through the 4th. A leader. |
ipledge10:She wanted him to make his shots. |
KarnThornheart:That was commentary. Read. Understand. |
ipledge10:He gets cute when his brother is guarding him which I hate. He has shot the 3ball poorly since the 4th but that is partly due to good Blazers D. Blazers role players have hit good 3s this Q. But we got this. |
Down 8. 2 TOs but a phantom foul on Dame to give him the 3pt play. Good time out because we have lost our way in this slightly. 3rd Q intensity let us wrap this up. I believe. |
Hardetayour:He rushes sometimes unnecessarily. I don't like the way the offense stagnates when Iggy and Dray or Steph are out. But I know Kerr wanted to use the lineup that gave us the lead in 6 mins to go. Down 3. 97-94 We are winning this. |
Kerr and his second unit. Klay should have passed to Jerebko instead of forcing that shot. We should go back to trapping. Good thing is Curry is resting. |
ipledge10:Selling fouls is not flopping. |
Hardetayour:It is to keep the game close. If we can play the same type of game we did in the 3rd, we win this easily. They are tired. being rescued by Fts |
ipledge10:The Blazers are closing the space he shoots from and if he does not sell it they won't back off. Notice they will try to give him separation just so they won't get called. On the other hand, the same D we played that got us back into the game is the same one they started calling for Dame to prevent a lead that would have been 9pts in GSWs favour. |
Hardetayour:They did not want GSW to take a lead before the 4th Q. Na for ratings. All the calls on Dame were rubbish especially that offensive fouled they first called on Curry when he was clearly fouled during that lay up. |
Draymond with 4 fouls is the only issue I have. He is such a leader that one. But he played hot potato with the ball in the 2nd to the last possession and caused a TO. |
We are the warriors! lead down to 3. |
Good trap on Dame. Lead down to 11. Klay's shots should start falling soon. |
Kerr has to stagger that second unit. They played 5mins and made only 7 points. That is not good enough. Klay is rushing some of his easy shots and bricking hard. We are 3/13 from 3 and they are 11/22. We need Jerebko to take some of Iggy's mins because they have left Iggy to shoot 3s and he has missed all. Good thing is, their shooting will drop in the second half so we should see this one out still. |
Only issue I have is Steph is slightly behind the game. Always getting his pocket picked by his brother. |
Hardetayour:Klay is off but he is not being reffed well. Other than that, they have 5 more 3s than us. |
airmark:Powerful official told you what? That Emenalo (Conte's friend and defendant) went to sign a player Conte did not want? These jokes write themselves. |
Beorn:I said Walker was better but not 90-10 better, 55-45. I said Trippier is even more of a Pep-type player than Walker. I said it was easier to price Walker out of Tottenham as he was unhappy and also good for his position but the narrative that he was the best RB in the league is only skewed to make it look like Pep tries to acquire the best of everything which is a lie. Azpi was great in his day for sure, but that was prior to 16/17. Walker is good just like David Luiz was good in 16/17. But was David Luiz the best CB in the league since he started for CFC and Brazil? No. |
airmark:You are cornered so I see you are looking for wriggle room. Trying to pin a signing on Emenalo who was Conte's friend in CFC and tried as much as possible to do his bidding. Look for one of the Chelsea dumbos on here to feed your lies to. I should prove that a player that Conte contacted himself was not his choice? ![]() |
airmark:Your questions are stupid. Conte tried to buy the player 3 different times (Juve and CFC). Conte spoke to the player. I agreed that 2017/18 Conte then wanted Lukaku following how he played for Everton FC in 16/17 but Everton wanted to cash out when United showed interest after they failed to get the same Morata. CFC refused to pay 100M for Lukaku so they went with Conte's second choice - the same player he had chased 2 previous times. Emenalo only told us what we already knew, that in 17/18 Conte's first choice was Lukaku and he was unhappy to lose the player to United. This will not be the first time Conte will have issues with United and Mou. Abeg try another daft senseless lie. |
Greatihex:Prove that he was as good as he is today. Start from bringing posts or quotes from the player himself contradicting you. I know words are lost on you. Subjective is a key word and other pundits agree with me. Just google best RBs in the EPL in 15/16 or 16/17 to see what shows up. LOL |
Beorn:1. Show me where I said Trippier was better. 2. Being number one for club and country means you are that good? I agree with every other thing BTW and another thing Poch added was that Walker was not training well and was not doing well in the big games. |
Greatihex:How good was Walker? Not as good as he is today under Pep Guardiola. Who was better than him? That will be subjective. Just like if I said VVD or Kompany was better than Cahill and Luiz in 16/17 yet both players made the team of the year and he did not. Personally, Hector Bellerin, Antonio Valencia were better than him. |
airmark:https://metro.co.uk/2017/04/12/alvaro-morata-reveals-antonio-conte-tried-to-sign-him-for-chelsea-last-summer-6569939/ The striker was contacted directly by Antonio Conte when he became Chelsea boss and was open to a transfer to the club. |
airmark:https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/chelsea-real-madrid-transfer-news-antonio-conte-alvaro-morata-kylian-mbappe-a7651831.html Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will go back in for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata for a third time this summer, with the Spaniard set to be on the move again.Chelsea were never linked to the player until Conte got there. Then sold the player after Conte left. But it was Emenalo that bought him. I hear you. |
airmark:Another dumb lie. You did not see Conte telling CFC to sign Morata? You did not read Morata saying he spoke to Conte? Conte did not bring the same player to Juve? What is the correlation between Lukaku who I already agreed was Conte's first choice in 2017/18 and Morata who he wanted in 16/17 and was clearly his second choice in 17/18? |
Beorn:Hmm. I don't want to say you don't know how to read. First, provide the post where I said Trippier was better than Walker. Even in your link, Poch had stopped starting Walker before Walker walked up to him to tell him his heart was no longer in Tottenham. This is from your link. The reason Poch gave for not starting him is also online if you would only search for it. The argument was not that Trippier was better than Walker but that Walker was not as good as people here tried to claim just because Pep signed him. They have denied Morata, denied Zappacosta, denied Bakayoko and every other player that was bought with big money. But if Pep buys anybody, that person was world class. There is a special place in hell for people who make such arguments. |
Beorn:I can see that you are trying to appear sensible and dispassionate which is not the norm here so I will be slightly patient with you. Rose was injured 2017/18 season but before then, 2016/17 season when he was in the team of the year he wanted out. The news is online. Why did Poch keep playing him? Again, Walker fell out with Poch in 2016/17 season when he too made team of the year. Poch started playing Trippier over him. I posed to His Royal Foolishness that if I was to ask him to prove that Walker was benched because he wanted out, he cannot prove it. You too cannot prove it. |
airmark:https://en.as.com/en/2016/06/07/football/1465295381_864840.html This is your Conte even before the 2016/17 season began. |
Emaprince:I have always maintained that most Chelsea supporters are Lemmings and your post epitomizes it. If I ask you to prove that Walker wanting to leave was the reason he was on the bench you can't. As if Rose did not want to leave himself yet they did not bench him that season. The same you who is half-assing about blind people now mentioned Iheanacho whereas if you did a little research you would have known that Iheanacho left because he thought he would have first team opportunities in Leicester. He always flops against teams with equal strength in the CL that he won twice? In 2008 when United were adjudged favorites to win the CL? Oh God save Chelsea supporters. |
