to be honest I'm not sure about this, but when I did mine, it wasn't a dpo from my state, because it's the dpo of your immediate environment that should know if you have any crimina record or other stuff

No, it's free everywhere in Nigeria, but you know the way some people are, they'll require you drop something to make it faster, you get your printout that very day

just try to get this NIN before the closing date, it's not compulsory you register this early, because when you make it to Lagos, you are required to come along with your NIN card or printout, go and register to avoid stories that touch

haha, no man, to be honest I wasn't doing rigorous exercises before going for the training, so the stress on the muscles caused this issue, as I have said before start training from this very moment, if you have Weight try to reduce your weight drastically before going there ,work on your legs, you'll need that stamina, let me not say too much

it's not impossible, just that it takes time and you pay more, it's takes like 4 to 5 months, but it's possible to change dob

Hey guys good morning! Please I’m in a dilemma here o! As I was filling my details online, I got to where I would put my NIN(I didn’t know we would be needing this). Now, the issue is that there’s an error in my date of birth on my NIN. I was born in 1993 buh NIN shows 1990. Tried several times to correct but unable to yet. However my international passport, WAEC and date of birth certificate shows my correct age. Would this affect me? I think I wouldn’t be shortlisted and this kinda painful!

try and start the application for change of dob now, so by the time you'll be called for interview if you make it, it must have been changed, I believe it is very important all your documents correspond

I felt same too while I left last year... Wasn't sure where to start from.
Applied for a job two days after coming home from Onne. I now work with one of the largest O&G companies in Africa.

It just felt like God had better plans for me all along...and if I was still at the training, I would not have received it.

Now I see why the Navy never worked out. I'm just thankful for the experiences gained and the people I got to meet tho.

Meanwhile, I took medications for the ailment. I'm completely free from it now.

My advice:
Don't just limit yourself to the Navy. There are other opportunities out there. If one door closes, another one would open. Don't give up.

I have applied twice now( 2 years) and I have not been contacted for a test even for once.

Guarantor from a high military rank will not guarantee you being called for interview or test, by the way they ask about it at the final stage, just fill the forms correctly and hope

I made it to training but got withdrawn again cos of a medical issue that could have been sorted even before training.

Read through the thread and know all there is to know. I wish all the applicants the very best.

This advice is very important, start training from now, like this very moment, and make sure you have a clean bill of health

wow , I guess we had the same issue, I was at Onne too in march, hope you've rectified the health issue, I'm still hurting to be honest for making it this far and losing it at the end

Hmm, I believe they screen out people who have undergone surgery, I know of someone that was screened out as a result of surgery mark for appendic

Please anybody who ran the whole process of authentication at MOE and MOF please kind help me out with the following questions

1) how long did it take for you to complete the process, getting eligibility letter at MOE and authentication at MOF

2) how much in total did you spend at MOE and MOF


I'll be in abuja soon and will want to know what it will take so I can know what to expect

1.If you know your ways and it happens to be a lucky day for you, it can be done within 24-48hrs

For MOE, you'll spend like 3-4k, well same price range applies for MOF
