Introduction Let’s accept the fact: many of us are skin conscious. As much as possible, we wanted to have a fresh, good looking skin. However, many of us failed to recognize that simple steps are the best ways to attain it. We just tend to ignore what is actually right or wrong for our skin. We tend to buy some beauty products that just worsen whatever skin imperfections we have as it turns out in the end. So, now is the time for change. We must do something to beat up all those bothering skin conditions we have. Think and Act CLEAN One thing that is true in our society since the early days is, some companies, if not all, that produce skin care products would like you to believe that a perfect, beautiful complexion can be purchased in a jar. But the truth is, a truly radiant, blemish free and moist skin is a result of being clean. If I say “clean”, it means clean from deep within and not just skin deep. Most of the medical professionals commonly suggest that people with skin problems must practice certain skin care methods that will help improve the condition of the skin. One of the most recommended ways is to clean the skin gently by washing it with a mild cleanser, at least once in the morning and once in the evening, as well as after a heavy work out. But behind that way, there is one thing that’s very crucial for maintaining a beautiful skin, and that is: to create clean blood that continuously supplies wonderful nutrients right to the doorway of each and every cell in your body. If you will start practicing this, there’s no doubt that you’re well on your way to having beautiful skin. But, how can you make it possible? Well, these days keeping toxins out of your blood and organs in the body seems difficult. The primary reason is that, most of us dwell in a “sea” of chemicals and drugs. We even eat mostly refined foods. Now, if your main “goal” is a healthy and beautiful skin, then it’s now time for you to have a somewhat conscious effort to cleanse these dangerous substances out of your system while placing in the finest nutrients. There is a particular good news that you must know about your own system, that is, your body is constantly in a cleansing mode. It was created with the ability to drive out toxins as long as the energy necessary for it to function is supplied. The bottom line is: cleansing energy is more abundant when you supply your body with the nutritious foods. Note the word “nutritious”. Main Organs That Keep Your Skin Beautiful Our body is made up of different organs that are responsible for providing us with beautiful and healthy skin. These specifically include: Liver Kidneys Adrenals Thyroid Large Intestines Small Intestines Note that with these organs mentioned, you are accountable to them as well. It is now your role to keep them clean at all times. You will just find out in the end that beautiful skin will result from your daily efforts. Liver and Kidneys It is interesting to know that our liver and kidneys are the two filtering organs that provide ongoing “housecleaning services”, as I prefer to call it, constantly. You must be aware that these days, these organs are seriously well-worn and even underpaid. So, why overload them with outside challenges? Is it hard for you to just protect them from outside harm? It’s not that hard though. Simply feed them well and they will keep you, including your skin healthy in the end. Adrenals Also, lying on top of your kidneys are your walnut-sized adrenals. These organs are often called the “workhorses” of the human body perhaps for the reason that they are responsible for making a number of essential hormones like the DHEA, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and pregnenolone. Speaking of hormones, it is necessary to note that healthy hormones are the essential ingredient when seeking energy, as well as healthy skin. Thyroid It is often said that if your thyroid is well nourished and energetic, it is capable of providing hormones and works closely with your adrenals to form essential energy. Note that a dry, sluggish and flaky skin is actually the evidence of a weak thyroid. So, strengthen it. Large and Small Intestines Studies have revealed that the general well being of one’s liver, kidneys, adrenals and thyroid is dependent on the general condition of the small and large intestines. Aside from providing nutrients to these organs, the small and large intestines hold the responsibility of removing whatever waste product is accumulated in the body. If the small and large intestines failed to perform this role, the waste that was meant for elimination will remain in your intestines and this will result to thickening of the skin, which will eventually produce oils and blemishes. Clean intestines actually mirror a pure and flawless skin. Several reports have noted that drugs, alcohol, chemicals and heavy metals like mercury and lead do daily damage to millions of people in the world. The liver is primarily damaged by the refined oils containing trans-fatty acids, while the kidneys are damaged by the common table salt that is devoid of natural minerals. Perhaps the main reason for this is the fact that thousands of processed foods that people usually consume everyday have trans-fats and refined salt. In addition, it was found out that those pasteurized as well as homogenized dairy products tend to clog the kidneys, thus they must be avoided. But, to attain a healthy and beautiful skin, you definitely need to add foods into your diet that nourish those mentioned six organs of the beauty. Think GREEN Today, there is what many dermatologists call as “Spring”. In Chinese medicine, spring is the season when the liver cleanses and heals naturally by way of driving out the dangerous toxins that were accumulated in the body through the refined foods that we eat. Many experts suggest green foods, including chlorella, as they are said to be excellent for the liver. Note that green foods refer to those green leafy veggies such as spinach, kale, dandelion greens and broccoli. These foods are what many people consider as the “especially wonderful foods”. Now, for a healthy and beautiful skin, have them cooked, raw, juiced and even cultured. More Foods Necessary for Nourishing Your Body and Skin Generally, super food formulas provide a mix of nutrients necessary for the body and skin. These include the cereal grasses, algae and green veggies. So, it is best for you to look for one that contains organic ingredients, but also note that the food was designed to heal and nourish the small and large intestines. It is often said that such foods are ideal in ... Facial Skin Care: All You Need to Know ‘Facial skin care’ is more a matter of discipline than anything else. A facial skin care routine is what you need (and you need to follow the facial skin care routine with complete seriousness). So let’s check what comprises an effective facial skin care routine. Well, very simply, a facial skin care routine can follow the following 4 steps: * Cleansing * Toning * Exfoliating * Moisturising Cleansing is the first thing in facial skin care routine. Cleansing helps in removing dust, pollutants, grease and extra oil from your skin, thereby preventing damage to your skin. Just spot your face and neck with a good cleansing lotion or cream and gently massage it into your skin using upward strokes. Use a soft face tissue or cotton wool to wipe your face in a gentle patting fashion (do not rub). Cleansing should be done at least twice a day i.e. morning (as part of complete facial skin care routine) and evening (on a standalone basis). Water soluble cleansers are the best for inclusion in your facial skin care routine. Toning is the next in a facial skin care routine. However, this is the optional part of the facial skin care routine. Mostly, proper cleansing can compensate for toning. Toning helps remove all traces of dirt, grease and excess cleanser. Instead of making it part of your daily facial skin care routine, you can using toning occasionally i.e. when you have been exposed to particularly harsh environment/pollution. Exfoliation is again, kind of, optional step in everyday routine for facial skin care. However, exfoliation is necessary at least once a week (or twice, depending on the skin type and the environmental conditions). Exfoliation finds its place in facial skin care routine because of the natural tendency of skin to replenish the skin cells every 3 or 4 weeks. As a facial skin care technique, exfoliation helps in removing the dead skin cells that block the pores, thus assisting the skin in the natural process. However, excessive or harsh exfoliation can cause damage to your skin; so you need to balance it out. The next thing in facial skin care is moisturising. In fact, moisturising is the most important part of facial skin care routine. Moisturisers prevent your skin from getting dry. Dry skin is really undesirable since it cause the upper layer skin to break, leading to dead skin cells. Again, use light upward strokes to make the moisturiser more effective. Moisturisers work the best when applied on warm and damp skin. So do not try to remove all the moisture in the previous steps of facial skin care routine. Besides the normal facial skin care routine, you should also exercise the following for facial skin care: * Use proper make-up remover instead of just washing it away * Pay heed to your skin type and the environment, when choosing facial skin care products. * Before you start using a new facial skin care product, test it by applying it on a short patch of skin e.g. ear lobes. * Never rub your skin too hard. * Use sunscreen lotions for protection against sun. Sensitive skin is often blamed for breakouts and itchy skin. This article discusses the qualities of sensitive skin and how these can be determined. This article also provides information and tips on the proper care of sensitive skin designed to reduce sensitivity and increase skin resilience. A lot of people claim that they have sensitive skin when they break out after using a certain product or were exposed to the sun. However, most often than not, the culprits behind the blotchy skin and zits are using inappropriate products for one's skin type and bad skin habits. If you are one of the many who break out or itch after sun exposure or using a product, it is a good idea to determine if sensitive skin is really the cause or something else. How to tell if you have sensitive skin? Generally, sensitive skin is thin with visible broken capillaries under the skin's surface. Sensitive skin also has fine pores. When exposed to moderate changes in temperature, sensitive skin reddens easily, whether from cold or heat. Sensitive skin tends to rash easily when exposed to dirt or even moderate strength skin care products. If your skin manifests these signs, chances are high that you really have sensitive skin. For a thorough skin assessment, a visit to a dermatologist is in order. Since caring for sensitive skin can be quite difficult, it is advisable to limit the use of skin care products. Generally, simple skin care regimens are more effective on sensitive skin since it prevents product overload. Sensitive skincare relies on strengthening the skin to reduce sensitivity and increase tolerance. How to care for sensitive skin? 1. Hydrate your skin. Sensitive skin is prone to dryness which can lead to increased sensitivity. Drinking eight or more glasses of water and applying a lightweight and hypoallergenic moisturizer a day can help restore your skin's moisture or lipid barrier that acts as defense mechanism against allergens. 2. Eat skin-friendly food. Fruits, vegetables, and other water-rich foods are essential in correcting skin imbalances. The vitamin, mineral, and water content of these foods hydrate your skin and restore its health. On the other hand, eating spicy food and drinking alcohol and caffeinated drinks can increase your skin's sensitivity. 3. Limit sun exposure. Sun exposure can cause sensitive skin to redden and burn easily. Before going out, apply sun protection on your face using sunscreen and on your body with sunblock lotion. You can extend the protection to your lips to prevent them from darkening. Applying an SPF-rich lip balm under your lipstick or gloss can help protect your lips. Umbrellas, sunglasses, and hats protect your body, eyes, and face from overexposure to the sun. 4. Protect skin at all times. Even when you are indoors, your skin still needs protection. If you are staying in an airconditioned room or one with forced heating, apply a lightweight moisturizer frequently. this will prevent your skin from drying...READ MORE @ Skincare Tips for a Sensitive Skin http://skincarehint..com/2015/12/skincare-tips-for-sensitive-skin.html?spref=tw |
An effective approach to managing skin allergies has three components. Firstly you must understand the condition, then you must discover if anything is triggering your skin reaction, and thirdly you must look after your skin. Many people think that allergies only affect the respiratory or digestive systems, but they can also affect your largest organ- your skin. As with other allergies the immune system overreacts to the presence of certain substances and releases inflammation-producing chemicals. Do some research and talk to your doctor. You can be confident of controlling your skin condition better if you are sure you understand what causes it via appropriate skincare. The second component in managing a skin allergy is identifying then eliminating the allergens and irritants that start the itching/scratching cycle. There are over three thousand known triggers for skin allergies. Many are natural, but there are plenty of man-made ones too, hence, the essence for a good skincare routine. A common man-made trigger is latex, which comes from the sap of the Brazilian rubber tree. The natural proteins and those added in the manufacturing process can trigger an allergic reaction. Most people are aware that this can lead to reactions if you wear latex gloves. However latex is also present in baby pacifiers, balloons, pencil erasers and elastic bands in undergarments. There can also be problems when latex particles become airborne and are inhaled. If you have a latex allergy try to avoid the material and use vinyl or plastic where possible. Nickel is another trigger. In addition to the obvious nickel-containing metallic objects like coins and jewelry, nickel is also present in everyday objects like scissors, bathroom and kitchen cabinet handles, and zippers. Mascara, eye shadow and eye pencils also contain nickel. Experts estimate that...Read more at http://skincare-story..com/2015/12/3-skincare-steps-to-managing-sk |

Wal-Mart has a tremendous economic war chest and possesses the power to penetrate and influence the highest levels of the host States. Its presence in Lagos would destroy the mom and pop businesses scattered all over Idumota, Surulere, Mushin, Kirikiri, or Yaba, etc.. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has promised a solar power revolution in Nigeria in the next one year. Osinbajo made the promise after inspecting Solar power stands mounted at a Trade Fair by the Department of International Development (DFID) as a follow up to the agreement signed between Nigeria and the UK for massive solar power in Nigeria. According to him, Nigeria will no longer watch as millions of its citizens, especially the rural poor, find it difficult to access electricity. “This is the time to jump in and we are all set to do that. “This is very exciting for us and of cause Grant (Mr Shapps – UK Minister of State for International Development) has been extremely supportive not only encouraging everyone and pushing and bolding everyone but I think that in providing all of the support and the various suppliers and all of the various people who have been working on solar power for so long. “We are really excited to be here and I am sure that in the next one year when you hear about us it will be quite a story to tell. “Nigeria will be the place where all of the example will be set for the rest of Africa. We are really looking forward to.’’ The vice president described the trade fair as “really inspirational for us when we look at the share enormity of what we have to deal with”. He said that no fewer than 96 million homes in the country required power. “I am speaking of Nigeria alone and they have no access to power at the moment. I just have to look in round again and see what is possible. I think we really have to go and go very quickly. “I think that every day means that we actually can do cheaper solar power and the technology appears to be getting better by the minute; we can’t afford to wait until it is cheaper.’’ In an interview, the Executive Secretary/CEO, Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Mrs Uju Hassan –Baba, stressed the need for the country to explore opportunities for alternative sources of power to augment the low production level and make power accessible to Nigerians. “Renewable energy is the only way to go because if we are going to wait for connection to the... www.nairaeconomy..com |
