Children Learn What They Live
By Dorothy Law Nolte

If children live with criticism,
They learn to condemn.
If children live with hostility,
They learn to fight.
If children live with ridicule,
They learn to be shy.
If children live with shame,
They learn to feel guilty.
If children live with encouragement,
They learn confidence.
If children live with tolerance,
They learn to be patient.
If children live with praise,
They learn to appreciate.
If children live with acceptance,
They learn to love.
If children live with approval,
They learn to like themselves.
If children live with honesty,
They learn truthfulness.
If children live with security,
They learn to have faith in themselves and others.
If children live with friendliness,
They learn the world is a nice place in which to live.

I get your point. Please read my response to a similar point above, I think it addresses this issue.
Cheers smiley.

psalmsjob:
I don't think Mark Zuckerberg got a job offer from Microsoft and turned it down because he wanted to start Facebook. Besides, do you think accepting the Microsoft job offer by your guy Chris would have prevented him from starting his own business in future ie 2-3 years after gaining some experience? Furthermore, what your guy Chris now knows was learnt or taught to him by someone/somewhere.

I still maintain that the $25,000 he won in that competition a year before got into his head ane brought out the pride in him due to his age maybe. So working at Microsoft even for a year will add value to him to do much better at what he intends to startup. So his decision isn't "Perfect" like the person who I initially quoted said. Pride goes before a fall. Experience is "always" the best teacher my brother/sister.
WebmastersRe: Chris Kwekowe Pictured With Bill Gates As He Turns Down His Job Offer by esperon25: 5:14am On Dec 08, 2016
I am sorry for getting you wrong, but you are right in saying that we are all different.
And then, there is a difference between a job and a calling. There are some persons who have been called to blaze a trail, and when they second-guess themselves for a moment and decide to 'go learn from a ''master"' ,( for example take up the job offer,as in the case of this guy, for even a month), they would lose that light bulb of creativity, and become confused.
And this is prevalent among Africans because we feel our creative ideas have to be doctored by a 'white' expert before it can be executed. I'm sure there are many Africans who should be starting great things but because of a little self-doubt, they lose their creative impetus.

I'm not trivializing the importance of learning from others- we go to school or continue to gain experience and knowledge from useful interaction. However, when Creative Energy directs you to chart a certain course, don't hesitate in the terrain of certainty.

And like you said, we are all different.

mordtonia:
You're getting me wrong.
I would work with Bill Gates for free just to spend some time learning from the best. Then I'd build mine to be even better than his. But we are all different, goodluck to the Lad.
WebmastersRe: Chris Kwekowe Pictured With Bill Gates As He Turns Down His Job Offer by esperon25: 10:43am On Dec 07, 2016
Well, what if he's the master of his niche, and doesn't need to be mastered? Maybe he needs to 'master' others instead.
I think we all have that gem of intrinsic capability, that we need discover, hone and with which we become master in our own right. But unfortunately, we'd rather chase money and 'chop belleful" smiley.

mordtonia:
I would take the job and build mine simultaneously.
When I am stable enough with my experience and money at Microsoft, I'd resign and face my own.

I believe in learning from the master.
WebmastersRe: Chris Kwekowe Pictured With Bill Gates As He Turns Down His Job Offer by esperon25: 10:28am On Dec 07, 2016
And who was Mark Zuckerberg's master before he founded Facebook? If 'The Muses' have given Chris Kwekowe the vision, he should jolly well execute it. He's found his niche and he's pursuing it with passion. What's more to want?

"Blessed is the man who has found his work; let him ask no other blessedness" - Thomas Carlyle

psalmsjob:
Not quite perfect my brother/sister! Working at Microsoft will add more value to what he thinks he knows even if it's for a year then resign to start up his own. I think the $25,000 he won in 2014 made turn down the job offer in 2016/afterwards and pride made him believe in his ability more than gaining experience and experience they say is the best teacher. You got to be an apprentice for some days to become a master one day.
RomanceRe: After Series Of Heart Break, I Am Confused by esperon25: 11:30am On Dec 06, 2016
My dear young man, I think you are pretty much in the same situation as Braoadway, the op, and I'll suggest as I did to her, that "you need to heal by giving your life to Christ. You have some deep void in your heart that only Divine Love can fill. As you accept, receive, experience this Divine Love, you'll be empowered to know yourself and to realize how valuable and loved you are. It is then, you'll be at peace", and experience true power and freedom.
You are still in bondage to anger, hurt and disappoint. If you want to prosper, grow and not be bound in the cycle of the pattern of your past relationship, if you want to be free to Be who you truly are, you have to forgive.

Christ said in Matthew 18:7, that offence will surely come in this world. Just like you are not perfect, nobody else is perfect in this world- it's a sinful, fallen world. So the wrong people are bound to cross your path. However, we are accountable for our response to these agents of offence.
You can't say for example, "Well I went wild, because someone betrayed my trust". You are responsible for your behavior. What if you got infected with HIV, while on your sexual rampage, where would you be now? Please leave judgment for God.

'Please say this prayer, (irrespective of your belief or non-belief system) with all your heart:
"Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I need you as my Lord, Saviour and Partner in life. Come into my heart. Wash me with your precious blood. Save my soul today. Give me instruction, direction and revelation of your promise in my life, and invest the faith in me to bring that promise to pass. In Jesus Name, Amen."
Please proceed to pick up a Bible and open it. God will speak His word to you through the pages of the Book.'

Peace and Love.

motherfucker:
I am fine now. smiley if na before, I was wild beast. It made me not to date one girl. I started dating like 3- 4 girls at a go. Forking them as well.

This was direct opposite of whom I am, the guy who keep to one girl.

That same attitude made me missed a chance with a very nice lady on here because I erroneously assume she had nothing to offer like every other. How wrong was I? It was too late when I realised my mistake and tried to correct it but another dude had taken the place.

So you see? When we do somethings, we do not know the extent of our deeds and their effect on the people we inflict with pains.

I have never really loved a girl since 2009, I locked my emotions and just play along.

Though the girl I met here did see a glimpse of the real me, which shocked her to the marrows. As in the dead drop, romantic and caring personality, attention giving etc. But since I couldn't get her, I have locked it up again grin

I am on to another one now. Whom I hope to unleash everything on if she does right but we are still getting to know each other and she is really cool. Will just focus on her only when it's sealed.

Hello dear, this may sound clichéd, but I think you need to heal by giving your life to Christ. You have some deep void in your heart that only Divine Love can fill. As you accept, receive, experience this Divine Love, you'll be empowered to know yourself and to realize how valuable and loved you are. It is then, you'll be at peace and will be no more confused.
It's like your spirit and emotions are entangled with your early relationships, and you made some soul-ties that are haunting you. Those relationships replaced God in your life.
Please say this prayer, (irrespective of your belief or non-belief system) with all your heart:
"Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner. I need you as my Lord, Saviour and Partner in life. Come into my heart. Wash me with your precious blood. Save my soul today. Give me instruction, direction and revelation of your promise in my life, and invest the faith in me to bring that promise to pass. In Jesus Name, Amen."
Please proceed to pick up a Bible and open it. God will speak His word to you through the pages of the Book.

Shalom.

FamilyRe: Nigerian Men In USA, Killing Their Imported Wives From Nigeria. by esperon25: 2:24am On Oct 14, 2016
I am not defending the women; I only maintain that, however appealing it may be under provocation, the premeditated act of taking another person's life is never justified. No mortal has that right: taking life that they cannot and did not create.
cyrilamx:
Keep defending the women in ur comfort zone. If you have financially be responsible to a girl only for the said girl to call you a fool and hit u bellow the belt, you won't be picking a fight with me regarding my post
These men didn't just wake up and decided to eliminate the women, the spent their hard money to bring to the US, trained and provided a roof over.
They first of all, were disrespected, divorced, thrown into the streets to start all over again.
Worst still they were denied custody of their own kids and will also assume responsibility for the up keep of the kids, why their now estranged wives tak over their property.

These men were already murdered psychologically. For those saying the men couldn't live with the fact that their wives earned more than them are being economical with the truth.

Didn't the men know that nurses earn higher and if they trained their wives to become RNs, they will earn more than them? Until u fit your leg in those men shoes, I tell you, you will go on genocides...you can do worse...even erasing the woman's entire family.

You might as well endorse the activities of Boko Haram.
Don't worry you may soon be getting your wish: Women are watching and reading these stories, and they'll be emboldened to attack and possibly kill men as well. The dead men too will appear before God.

Murder is not justified for whatever degree of provocation.
cyrilamx:
did u read where they said the women later start disrespecting the men because of American liberal law leaning towards feminism? Or how they throw the men out and have custody of the kids and get the property?

The op ain't lying. I have an RN sister in the US..
She does say something...how Nigerian RN ladies are treating their hubbies and those divorced turning lesbians. Put yourself in the men's shoe and see how frustrating for your sweat to he taking from you. They killed them well. Let them appeared before God...foolish women.
