Omeny: Shallow mind and unenlightened! Do u know how many past leaders that have call for immediate clean up of Ogoni land and Niger Delta in general!
Did I hear immediate clean up? PMB just express immediate setting up of a committee towards clean up of oil areas! According to report, it will take 20 to 30yrs to totally clean up those areas! To carried out this total clean up, Billions of US Dollars will be required!
Then you ask urself, how do u do a total clean up of a polluted area when those companies polluting the areas are still busy doing their oil spillage and gas flaring combined with illegal refineries?
Come and I will teach you more brat!
We are talking about glaring issues on ground you are talking about president Buhari! Myopic fellow! over informed man.. so did such protest take place during the time some past leaders ordered the immediate clean up of those areas? Be pragmatic with your argument. Over informed man please tell me the sense behind protesting against something you claimed they haven't started. You could advice that due process must be followed not protest. |

Omeny: Do u read at all punk? Are they protesting against Buhari's presidency abi negligence and soil, air and water pollution?
U talk as if Buhari will leave all his life in Abuja! Few months from now parties will roll out their manifestos again! Watch and see! I thought about ignoring you. I guess you weren't out of data when it was all over here when buhari instructed that there should be an immediate clean up of the communities affected by oil spills.. he's about starting your people are here protesting about due process.. I insist your problem isn't about oil spills but the fact that buhari is the president. Live with it. |

Romance › Re: 7 Silly Characters In Guys That Can Turn A Lady Off by espn(m): 7:22am On Aug 24, 2015 |
StephanieEzeh: Except you are not mature emotionally as a lady or you are just too incapable of stepping up your game, the following characters should be a total turn-off for any right thinking lady with class!
1. "Mature" guys that sag: You can see the mature in quotation marks because I doubt if they are really mature! Some guys who are above 30 still sag their trousers! Don't you look at yourself in the mirror and see how you look like a condemned prisoner on Death Row to be hanged? Dress decently guys and stop all these silly attributes of a naïve teen that you are always trying to put up! That's irresponsibility to the core!!! No responsible woman will date you abeg
2. Calling a girl countless times: Its time to behave yourselves guys. When you call a girl up to 3 times and she's not picking, chill and see if she calls you back. If she doesn't, it means she isn't into you at all. If she calls back, fine. You should know this by now; calling her all the way when she's not picking exposes you as a desperate love-starved guy that can used and dumped! Personally, this turns me off.
3. Wanting to have sex immediately you meet a girl: Except she is a woman of easy virtue, demanding for sex or trying to entice her to sleep with you would definitely turn a right-thinking woman off immediately! What if she's your sister? Would you want another guy to get down with her just like that? It is the unusual, abnormal and unnecessary thirst for sex that makes many guys to act like programmed machines when you see a woman, you begin to analyze her female anatomy with your ravened eyes like hungry lions because small shawarma and probably, 2 bottles of SNAP that you bought.
4. Begging a girl to love you: Any guy that begs me to love him has already been seen as an incurable mugu by me. It is a huge turn-off!!! Whether you do it through phone call, sms or face to face, its still the same thing. Do you know how you appear when you do this? Like a dumb ass! Yea, a dumb bloke Some would even go as far as kneeling down for you.
5. Bad English: When some guys open their mouths to speak, you would be surprised! They can't even differentiate past tense from present tense or past-participle from past tense! A guy once met me at a mall and asked: "Did you attend Uniport? Your face looks similar" . I held myself back from bursting out laughing!!! Instantly, right there, standing with him, I was turned off and I left him staring into the air like an abandoned child.
6. Begging a girl for cash and other goodies:
Whenever guys rant about digging in girls, I just laugh. I have experienced it several times and first-hand, where guys beg as if there's no tomorrow for stuffs like cash, recharge cards, etc. This is shameful. Its disgraceful If I want to get a present for a guy or give him cash, which is not advisable if he's not a worthy person, I'll do that from my heart but not you scheming and begging. Why don't you get up your lazy butt and look for something useful to do with your life? You think Nigerian ladies are like those white women you scam daily? We are far wiser...but some ladies still fall for such romantic scam all in the name of love from Mr Smooth-talker!
7. Irresponsible life-style: Some guys don't even consider their age. They still feel they are 10 years old. They do nothing other than smoking skunk, weed, cigarette, popping Tramadol and all silly types of drugs you can ever imagine. That's a huge turn-off if you don't know. Only the awful smell that emanate from your body after smoking and excessive drinking can even make a woman leave you immediately! I agree with some of your point..i don't sag though..btw from your write-up I must say most of our so called celebrity are irresponsible.. and many of you call them role models, ambassadors.. they drink, smoke, do drugs and dress irresponsibly. from your write up I want to assume they don't have class either and classless girls go after them. So tell me if you have never crushed on any of those celebrity before. |

Education › Re: FG Reverts The Decision To Upgrade Colleges Of Education To Universities by espn(m): 4:51pm On Aug 22, 2015 |
bushdoc9919: I have some questions for all of you.
1.Do you have the extra trillions of naira needed to upgrade the colleges of education to universities.?
2.Do you have the manpower needed for the newly upgraded universities? When we do not have enough lecturers for the original ones...talk-less of the private unis, or the new ones GEJ established?
3.Have you forgotten that the price of oil has dropped....and as such we have to cut our coats according to size?
Look.....education in Nigeria has serious funding problems. And unless we have the extra cash.....and the extra manpower....especially lecturers.....we cannot proceed with upgrading....or even establish new universities.
That is the problem....and even if GEJ was in charge...he probably would have reversed the decisions too.
So.....do you have any alternative idea? Must we establish schools and universities that we cannot cater for in the long term? Or would you chaps willingly pay school fees of up to N400000-500000 just so that these new universities you like can be properly funded?
Some of you Nigerians.....you like awoof....but you do not consider where the awoof is gonna come from. PDP and APC both. simply ask them how well have we managed the universities we have..and how well equipped are the graduates been flushed out every year. So many dull people on NL. They rush here to show their dismay for GMB and as well their level of ignorance. I hope the number of people that would die from living with the fact that GMB is the president would out number that of natural causes before the end of his tenure.#maybe 8yrs# |

After several months that the unfortunate incident happened..not immediate..he used dat as a bid to con people's favour when election was close( after the postponement) why must that recruitment fail in the first instance? In a sane society is that man fit to be in office..even Abba moro?? I guess they refused to be sacked by GEJ or probed because there was more to it. |

Yes facts about Nigeria:
1.I expect to see an ex president with a deceiving looks but criminal mind who looted Nigeria of all its treasury. 2. An ex president who is a professor but does not know stealing is corruption 3. A professor whose failure in government was attached to sabotage by the same people he appointed. So dumb that he was tricked to signing contract. 4. An ex president with a terrible drinking habit and a social misfit as wife. |
