There are people in our circle that we wouldn’t like scrolling through our documents and files on our PC. The computer password lock doesn’t really work out in this kind of scenario because our familiarity with some friends won’t let us say no when they ask for our PC password.


Insert the flash drive in the appropriate port

Enter “Syskey” in the Run window and click run

Select the Enable Encryption and tap Update

Choose Store Startup on Floppy under the System Generated Password

This will set up the system startup with the flash drive. Anytime you want to on your computer, you insert the flash external drive.

Second Method


After downloading the app on your system, insert the external memory (flash) and run the app.
Options would appear afterwards, choose create password and proceed by tapping the Ok button.

Before completing the setup, open the Preference options to see some major settings that would enable you know how the system works.
Put in the required options appropriately after which you Ok and the system starts working.

A flash will be needed henceforth before your computer can be unlocked. Also note that this configuration can be disabled at any time by going back to the setup window in any of the methods explained above and disable the app.
