Lazy windows user just because u did not understand how linux rendered your phone so that is why you conclude linux may never catch up windows. I use a windows mobile 2003se smartphone,  windows xp does not even have a native driver 4 it as a usb device not 2 talk of detecting my modem plus windows mediaplayer does not see it, you know copy to device option. You call vactive wap a dial up? So stop criticising am a windows power user and have used linux for quite a while now. Have worked with 98 upward both as an engineer and desktop publisher and knows their limitations. Stop criticising linux.      tongue tongue tongue tongue tongue tongue embarassed lipsrsealed undecided kiss

Computers / Re: Why Win 2000, Win Xp or Windows Vista When There's Win 98? by esquire(m): 5:12pm On Aug 28, 2006
its so funny who some of u guys are still thinkin it shows that most are not engineer. now back 2 d issue of win 98 i dont know how you guys are using yours thats making it 2 crash so easily i've gotten mine 4 like 2 years now with heavy use & havin 2 change my power supply (pack) thrice i have never 4 once formatted os re-installed my os. win xp is easy 2 troubleshoot & install  4 a layman just boot from ur cd & repair but in win 98 even if u boot from start up disk u still need 2 enter some command line.  prone 2 series of problem like lost IO.SYS, misplaced mbr etc. may not see sound, VGA etc in some systems and if u use 2000 & xp reverse is d case is not even plug and play os eg flash drive most manufacturers dont even include d flash installation cd. ms no longer provide support for win 9x   tongue tongue tongue
Computers / Re: Newly Designed Laptop to Cost $100 (14,000 Naira) or Less by esquire(m): 10:07pm On Aug 27, 2006
its so funny how most of u guys love awuf well the laptop in question cannot be used alone as in it need some sort of mesh network positioned into the space & its not some type that u can just pop a cd rom into & start doin stuffs. Its a gadget or some sort of miniature of laptop not capable of any real job. I read it sometimes ago that those coming 2 west africa will run Wazobia  Linux you know its an open source thing. So don't be this-illusioned. go 2 otigba wit dat amount add little money u'll bring home correct p3 pc. cheerio
