Emphasis as i have just gone through some posts this morning.If GVC is building account statement for you,this is very very risky because their organizational details may be appearing on the account statement of yours that they have own up to do for you. From the VOs perspective, you don't work there,they ain't your sponsor, so how the come of the accumulated funds? This now results to insufficient funds?

Mind you as you are JJC, they wouldn't tell you the negative resultant of what they are doing.they are only providing you the services you wanted while interested in the money they will collect from you.Within themselves, the can envisage applications which have higher percentage of being granted and work on that if you 100% have all the requirements they may be needing in your case while using successfully approved visas to be gaining clients confidence in them and ripping others that might have incomplete profiles.

During my time, my sponsor was desperate to pay 1.2 million on my behalf to an agent.if not that i got to know and intervened on time,by now we for don hang ourselves somewhere dead.The agent brain-washed her that my mum believed that agents are the ones that give VISA or have influence in getting visa.Funny enough the agent told her that they know visa officers, they meet them in their homes,tender ones profile to them and the Vo tells them the possible requirements they need.I was like to my sponsor,"so this agents travel all the way from naija to accra,Ghana to meet VOs unbehalf of each client? I told her,woman don't be myopic.One thing is that the agent can't come to me and say such because he would speak off point with intelligent questions and references i would give him.

About arguments emerging or not emerging and VOs reading the forums or not.To me that's nonsense. A Vo comes back tired everyday after talking and handling too many applications,na to come begin dey read canada thread everytime? If they want to approve an application they will if they don't,they ll equally find an excuse especially accra VOs.so what we say here or not to me i don't think it ever count in their decision making if ever they read it.

I need not you to come show me a link to convince me they do cos I'm not interested if they ever do.But my concern is we all should do the right thing but if you personally need advice on some lapses,you can talk that on chat with any1 here you feel you can share such than creating obscenity.

Shey we are all free to say our minds? I hate when people say we fight or nairaland attitude. We all have different opinions and dispute must occur for us to learn from it.if you do encourage lets talk it on chat from what others may learn if shared here,i may only see the thread dead or non existing like other threads that is like nothing happens there. I share my experiences on this thread for others to learn.people make mistakes even costly mistakes in life because of lack of information. Every question asked on daily basics have all been answered in past threads but still the views we share here keeps the thread existing.

So I've been following this thread like forever, and I said I wasn't going to post any comment till I have good news. Someone introduced me to this page a little while after submitting my application (that was like part 10 or 9 sef, not so sure anymore.) just to read through and see how much patience I'll require. TBH, reading a lot of comments, I already have up sometimes that my application wasn't as solid as some people that have been denied. But I kept the faith. Let me cut the long story short sha. I got admission to Conestoga College (PGC, Computer Applications Security)

Visa application details;
Applied 19th May (Online route),
Biometrics 21st May.

Admission letter, with full first semester tuition paid.
Letter of Explanation
Sponsorship letter from my dad, with his official letter headed paper (Serving Commissioner in one of the states of Nigeria).
Statement of account( inflow: 12,153,796, outflow: 11,377,364, closing balance: 790,876).
Letter of introduction from his bank.
Police Certificate.
Data Page of international passport (No travel history). And all those IMM forms.

Medical call: 27th August.
Medical passed: 31st August.

Had to defer my admission, since I didn't hear anything from them again. Sent the new admission letter.

Finally, Passport Request: 31st October
Approval update/Correspondence letter: 5th November.

Will pick up my passport on Tuesday or Wednesday, and resign from my current job at the end of this month.

Total Duration: 24 weeks, 2 days.

All praise to God. I've not been calm since morning. Turn down for what? I wish all TRV hopefuls all the best.

Absolutely.The person must give in his/her letter of invitation reasons for inviting you, show and state relationship to you, show financial status to caretare for you and all or any dependant(s). On your part, You must show strong home ties to compel your return at the end of your stay.(business,family,work, assets etc). Best regards.

Please, what was the reason for your refusal after medicals? For your questions, it takes 14-16 weeks. However it may take shorter or longer than that.

After you do ur medical or u didn't do the medical thanks

This are the only thing that deprived me from getting the visa. My sponsor who is am american citizen ask me to appeal. What are my chances if I appeal. How will I go about appealing. Thanks

Not everybody CIC send that 3of my frds was not asked evidence of payment, sometimes once u have the money in your account

It may be a red flag on your visa application if its stated that you should pay 500cad in your admission letter. I would advise you to make d payment before cic ask for d payment evidence.

It was not stated there that I should pay it in my admission letter only said I should persent my letter to the embassy datz why I choose that one ,3school gave me admission I only saw it in the shool website thanks

I applied for TRV Sept 15, the problem now is the school that gave me admission said I should pay tuition fee before Nov 2nd which I have not done yet. Should I go ahead or mail the school if I can pay when CIC request for it. The school's name is HUMBER COLLEGE.

Hello guys,
Please I need an urgent assistance. I submitted my application in April, 2016 for sept admission but got invited for medicals on 12 September. Medical result was good and updated as passed via online platform.
They further informed me on the 27th of September to provide another offer as evidence of deferral since the former has expired. I wrote the school for another deferral but they refused on the account that I cannot have more than two deferrals and should ask for refund.
Fortunately for me I have another offer for winter 2017 from university of Winnipeg but on a similar course and I did submit same to Accra office via email as stated in their request and also updated my online account as it equally appeared there on the 6th of October, as I had 14 days to respond to it.
Surprisingly today, they sent me the same mail that was sent on 27th of September with same date but my online account was not updated.
My questions
1. Do I need to resend again to them?
2. Giving them a substitute offer in place of the former, is it proper?
3. What do you advise I do again?

Someone already gave you the estimated processing time which is 16weeks. If you do your calculation right, the maximum number of weeks you can possibly get before this year runs out is 10weeks considering Christmas and new year break. Do u need a prophet to tell you that you will probably be needing GOD'S intervention for your app to be processed within short period of time? If your faith can carry it, why not go ahead and apply?
The question you're asking is synonymous to when someone is telling you to walk on the water and you're asking the person if you will sink if you walk on water. So if the person advice you to walk in it that you won't get to sink, will you the go ahead base on the advice?
Please let's all desist from this act of asking for food and still also asking to be spoon feed.

I was at VFS yesterday to pick up my refusal package. Men!! I could even count the people I saw applying for visa. in fact I went to meet the man who stands at the entrance to attend to applicant asking him the reasons for the high refusal. I advice you have to rethink. My concern is that we must be cautious. Some have used the so called agents in the past who ended up misrepresenting them with fishy SOA. I say it again that we all must be cautious. The best form of application you will have is self application and self representation. That's why I say be cautious in all your dealings because any information you submit through any agent or any intermediary is considered to have originated/emanated from the Applicant and applicant must be answerable. Be wise. Those criticizing my post should at least pause and reflect for a while. Sometime in the past, someone's SOA was seen as fake by the Immi and the applicant attributed such misrepresentation to the use of agent. Be wise. I've actually gained a lot of knowledge from this thread which I like to continue sharing it with members. This is not the first time I have been criticized by some members, the first criticism came as a response to my opposition of a mail written to Immigration Minister by an Applicant accusing that CIC is biased when reviewing PGC/PGD application as Masters and Phd applicant receives fair review. With the way this criticisms are coming up, I may decide to take a bold decision which I had never wished for. I pray God helps us all to understand and see the reason why VO are actually skeptical about applications coming from Nigeria. Be your brothers keeper as there is nothing to hide. Let's help ourselves and God will help us. Thank you.

To the bolded, please i will like us to ask questions with a mature mind and mature mentality. I dont understand why some people will come and be asking the bolded question here. How on earth will someone go and submit a fake bank account statement? even with a genuine bank account statement the Canada embassy still confirm the Authenticity of the statement and some still get denied even after presenting a genuine bank statement let alone presenting a fake one. I want us all to know that there's maximum possibility that a Canada V.O may be silently monitoring this thread and our posts as it is in other threads. To stop raising the curiosity of the V.O and to stop giving ourselves a bad reputation to the international world, lets desist from asking such questions.
