Hello @mizabey, yes dere's difference in cuttin male&female trouser. For male, u won't shape d thigh while for female u'll shape from waist to thigh to round knee, although depends on d kind of female trouser. If u'll use elastic waistband, dere wnt be need to shape waist to thigh

For me, I full padded breast, i.e the wadden will not be cut with the bust size rather,it will full padding. . To make a padded blouse, you need the following measurement point to point, upper bust, bust, underbust, waist&hip. Fold your fabric into 2, measure the widest part of Your blouse which is the bust add 4"s/a, then measure your point to point,it should either be 4 or 4.5",then add anoda 0.5" to the point to point for joinin, assumin you are using 4.5 as your point to point, when u add the 0.5",u'll have 5",add anoda 0.5" to d 5" that will give you 5.5", from that 5.5" draw a stright line down, measure 0.5" to d lefr&to the rightfrom d point to pointand do same for the waist too, then cut out d 0.5" i.e the dart, following the shape, once you are through cutting, you should be able to achieve d diiagram 2. Pls zoom picture to see clearly.

Could u pls expantiate on d jumpsuits......or probably explain d trousers. Its an overlap jumpsuit dat I wanna make.Pix will help.Tanxxx
estyy2:
To draft jumpsuit, measure your bodice i.e top from shoulder to waist &add extra 1", then your trouser, add 1" to d crouch depth, the 1" is for seam allowance. See rough sketch below
. Try zoom d picture, then let me know exactly what you don't understand. Thanks

It's not easy to explain bustier blouse without you seeing it in reality bt i'll try if you can understand. See sketch but the sketch is not for off shoulder, but from the diagram, you'll cut out the shoulder part i.e you'll not cut out shoulder with bodice while cutting your fabric, you'll have to cut the shoulder together with sleeve. I hope you understand?
ozedresources:
Hi could u pls explain how to cut and sew off shoulder padded blouse, just like the ibo type of blouse. Thank u.

As you know buba is usually free on the body except for the latest style. For the normal buba measurement, depending on how free you want it on your body, fold your fabric into 4, add 7" to your normal bust measurement, 2" s/a is inclusive in the 7". Remember buba doesn't have shape,so when you add 14" to your bust, cut straight down to length. For the neck, depending on how wide you want it, so you can make it 3.5" by 5". Then for the iro,a normal stature, is 2yards&9"
muskham:
How to measure iro and buba on myself is what i need pls

Measure your chest circumference, then measure length of armhole 9" to the line of chest, see sketch. For the other sketch, zoom it,you'll see clearly.
oluwadeeboi:

Yea,it did..altho I dint rili see the picture clearly, the explanation is ok. What about the armhole width, I believe you undastand what I mean by that? That place where the curve ends, what is the measurment?

Fashion / Re: Questions And Explanation On How To Draft And Cut Your Fabric On Any Styles by estyy2(f): 12:41am On Feb 05, 2015
To measure armhole for male,d standard measurement is 9" but for a bigger person, u can use 9.5", from shoulder point, measure your 9" down, den use ur french curve. But not dat u won't cut d armhole in d way a female own is being cut. See rough sketch below. I trust dis wld help.
oluwadeeboi:
Ohkay, thnx.. Please how do you measure and cut armhole for men across all sizes? (2) is there a particular shape or pattern the armhole should look like? Thanks in anticipation

how do u mean your sleeves doesn't match?, is it that it's not equal on the sleeve hem line or ampit?

@Kemmmy06, I use it for both sleeves&it's been wrkin fine,@Tirham1, after measuring ur shoulder slant, measure 7" down, it's from there u'll get armline
