Sometimes last year, I was here to look for rental or HP but found none. Its over a year I've been looking for one. I got this 1.5m from a as gift from someone who knows bout my interest in e hailing.

Lastly, if you ask me a million times I will tell you think outside the box for another business to invest that money into, don't make Uber the only study at hand. In GS400 as we were thought in school, always have 3 business plans then venture into the one you feel is best.

If at the end Uber is the one you pick fine.

As for the car, your budget is good enough for an 03-05 Honda Civic.

That issue of leg makes me fear anything Honda.

You will be paying almost 4m in total HP package for a tokunbo big daddy. Hope you know the price of a tokunbo big daddy is averagely 2.4m+.

I dont know how you think you can get naija used big daddy for less than 2m on HP when naija used big daddy is sold for 1.3m and above.

If that car is sound, take the offer and hit the road. Work very well and save enough to keep the car in good shape through out HP duration so you have minimal down times

The papers must be inspected and complete, especially customs paper.
The owner will still have the papers with him pending when you complete the car payment, but ensure the car isn't a stolen car and has valid/complete papers before you embark on HP deal.

Your mechanic should help check for engine, transmission and suspension.

I advise you inquire if he's the first user of the car as the tokunbo, and how long he's used the car (you should know this from the papers though)

If you get at 1.9m or 2m, consider yourself lucky. If you get it at 2.1m, still a good deal provided the far is sound.

You will be 100% responsible for the car repairs and maintenance until you complete the payment and becomes yours.

Don't go beyond 25-30k weekly even if you think you can do 40k weekly. You need to have cash in your bank and pocket to maintain yourself and the car. Don't divert all your earnings on weekly remittance
