Also he didnt use any insultive word on Odenigbo Aroli or on you but you went on to insult him and called him names for expresing an opnion that Nigeria cant stay together forever. Your post was reported and I acted on it.

I have banned Dayokanu in the past, I will not spare him if he breaks the rules. If he insults anyone or any ethnic group please report it.

Let me also say, it is not against the rules to be a "tribalist" (i.e defend your ethnic group and dislike another ethnic group) but while at it do no insult another poster or another ethnic group, doing that is against the rules.

People only know about ur ban if you whine about it like the OP is‎​ doing. When some persons are banned, they take it like that and move on. Some others do what they've got to do in order to reverse the decision.

If you're banned, the easiest way to get ur freedom in "Record" time is‎​ to send the MOD a PM and promise to desist from what led to your ban in the first place..

the guy that i was in a rift with insulted my person (instead of addressing the topic) and i defended with a reply like any other person would, he quoted me a couple of times still insulting me and i spiced one in form of a cake for him and i got banned while he wasn't. He went on rampage on the topic, boasting and trying to make me feel like a pogue. Is that fair?

To me, I think anybody that contravenes Nairaland rules should be sanctioned or banned, regarless of whether he's Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba or Efik. Tribalism shouldn't be brought into it. In this case, a particular tribe gets the ban most for the same offence committed by another tribe (usually the home tribe of a moderator)
