Oga, talk is cheap. Provide proof. Please take a trip to each of the villages in the entire South-East, and interview all the villagers/residents in those districts, on their ability to speak English. Next step, conduct a census on how many people in the South-west (excluding Lagos) can speak English, properly.

When you have completed this exercise, plot the results from both zones into a chart, along with the methodology used in arriving at the hypotheses highlighted in your statement above. Then let us see this comparison in black & white. Perhaps it would serve as empirical evidence to support your strange assertions. Maybe, then we would believe you.

My next door neighbours can barely speak two sentences in English, yet they are from Abagana. The couple that lives in the house opposite mine are from Akure, yet they speak perfect English, with correct phonetics. Tinubu has gone too far to privatize South West politics are we must stop him now. Awolowo did not go to the extent of installing his family members against people’s wish.

Tinubu crowned his daughter the Iyaloja of Lagos. He installed his wife, as a Senator for Lagos State. His wife’s sister is apparently a member of Lagos State House of Assembly. His daughter’s husband is a member of the Federal House of Representatives. This is unacceptable.

Tinubu has controlled South-West politics NOT because he is popular in the region, but because he has been allowed to get away with his anti-democratic tendencies.

He made no pretenses to be democratic. Candidates for elective offices did not come from any democratic processes; they were chosen in Tinubu’s bedroom.

There was only one discernible requirement for qualification: total allegiance to Tinubu and the acceptance to do his bidding.

In 2011, PDP supported Mulikat Akande of Oyo State for the position of Speaker of House of Representatives. But Tinubu corralled his party representatives to defeat the woman in favour of Aminu Tambulwal of Sokoto.
