My great stanbic guys obviously learnt from the mistake made in the last auction. They bidded conservatively at just about 16.7% for 182 days. Thanks to them, I already thought lost out, because I submitted 17.35 for 182 days (I wonder what I was thinking). This is the second time they are making me go with the bank rate contrary to my instruction, and guess what, it's always paid off big time. I guess I'll just choose to always go with their rate. stanbic for me means a good deal for investment transactions, their MMF too is doing around 17% for me, with the added advantage of flexible withdrawals. Oga, what Stanbic did was wrong. They should have credited u back ur principal since your bid was not successful. The approved CBN rate was 17.25% for 182 days while you quoted 17.35.

However they should have left you with the option of buying from a secondary market or you wait for the next bid.

What Stanbic did was either of the following.
They gave you their rate contrary to your instruction or they bought you Tbills at the secondary market.

Banks don't lose out in Treasury bills they are only smart to manipulate their customers ignorance and maximise their return. Imagine they gave u 16.7 for 182 days at worst 17% would have been better but you are here praising them

Don't blame those bank staff as they are deprived of so many benefits promised them over the years. Some are not happy at all. Some are 8 years on the same level without promotion. No promotion or salary increment.


If you are a graduate and aspiring to become a banker in those new generation banks I pity you. They make your life miserable and ensure you continue working as a contract staff for 4 years and more. Most banks don't care about their staff welfare. It is so annoying that after promising them good welfare package, they refuse to honour their pledge.


How will such staff be happy. Some are not happy at all and the industry is capitalist in nature with self centered mgt using their staff salary to increase the balance sheet.

If this continues, the service will worsen. You see banks declaring huge profits but it does not reach the middle and lower level staff. Even the branch mgt are not happy with the conditions of the lower staff. The loyalty is lost btw employees and employers.

Both of them are not gonna achieve much.


Sinful giver is wrong cos the bible says that Sin separate us from God. Your sin shall surely find you out. SIN does not always fulfill what it promises. Giving is good but it amount to nothing when a sinner is involved. Mind you Satan also gives. Giving is not complete when sin is involved. Two people can pray while one prayer is answered and the other unanswered is because of the individual lifestyle, Sin. Sin will make you pay what you are not prepared to pay. A sinner will not go unpunished. Giving does not eradicate the consequences of sin except repentance.


A believer who lacks giving is not also fulfilling God's instruction. There is no way he will also be complete cos he will also lack resources and helpers will be far from her. Well being a righteous man God has a way of showing him his shortcomings. By not giving shows that he lacks love as written in 2 Cor 13 :13. He needs to give back to God and man by which his heaven shall be open

I have worked in uyo and lagos and worked in that industry. The costransmission of living in uyo is the highest in Nigeria. However going into bank contract job is not good at all. They WILL fire him after few years and he won't be able to get a good job in uyo. Forget it that he came from uyo. This is not a good criteria.


If he doesn't like his present job let him start the bank job he will regret leaving is current job.

For a healthy and lasting marriage I strongly recommend minimum of a year courtship. This is because we are tend to have a bad sense of reasoning and tend toakeem wrong decision when we Court for 3 months. Events and circumstances during this few months is not enough for good and valid decision about marriage.

..From what I was made to understand by my account officers at FBN,there is not meant to be any charge on your TB..I wasn't charged any fee and my bid went through(FBN)..So go to your FBN bank and ask them to provide explanations..

What is her in laws expectation about her

Is she meant for me?

I strongly believe that the man has a duty to be sincere first with the wife, open up to her. Be truthful tell her ur income and how u will spend it. Ask for her opinion and you both agree before spending. You can't do this and the wife will do otherwise else her conscience will disturb her.

It is better to do all these when u r dating before marriage. Then u will have idea what u r getting into.

I have observed over the past few months the actions and inaction of our able president. The following observations are worthy of note:

Buhari is not after the economic status of the country neither is he concerned in any way

He careless of the corruption he campaign rather he is after who is involved.

He has an agenda but to accomplished it requires a gradual process.

He installs Muslims be it Northerner or Southerner regardless the person is not a Christian. Most of his appointments were majorly Muslims. The affected justices are mostly Christian as Muslims will be spared.

Let us remember turkey. A Christian country now dominated by Muslims

Most Christians supporting Buhari in the name of corruption do not really know what theye will loose when the Islam agenda is in full force. Most of the judges in the supreme Court will be Muslim and the sharia law will be easy to take effect. Judgement will be on your religion and not the constitution.
