martin123: What were you expecting him to say ? He is a wise man, he was well taught how to address press conference. Unlike Bubu. When you need to be taught how to address press conference it may be hard to be sincere. Imagine if you were displayed unjustly and the people you worked with are being percecuted, the only thing you can now say is that you will talk at the appropriate time. What kind of person will you be.? Let him talk and clear his name if he is innocent. Sometimes keeping silence when you know the truth means you are lying. |

Business › Re: How To Beat 50NGN FG Imposed CBN Charge by ETHIX(m): 6:59am On Jan 21, 2016 |
kibzz: THE Federal Government through the Central Bank of Nigeria, on Tuesday, imposed stamp duty of N50 on bank customers for money received into their accounts.
This no doubt however is a fraud in many aspects. Although, “For all avoidance of doubt the following receipts are however exempted from imposition of stamp duties: payments of deposits or transfer by self to self whether inter or intra bank; and any form of withdrawals/transfers from saving accounts; It should be noted that these charges are only payable by receiving accounts;
However, Nigerians shouldn't be troubled. The best way to beat this system is outline below:
Step 1: gather the amount of money to be deposited. Step 2: divide it by 900NGN or if U are like me, divide by 999NGN. Step 3: pick the number of payment slips you need. Step 4: deposit accordingly.
Traditional methods can also be applied; 1: bury deep in the ground of your backyard and tie red cloth around it. 2: bury deep in the ground, kill chicken constantly on the spot and pour oil. 3: bury in the floor and use "dig and faint charm".
I hope I've saved your 50NGN..
Please if you have other methods, you can drop as comments.. Save Nigeria from A**.. Peace Hmmmm some banks have started charging N210 per transfer form. Am sure other measures will apply and teller deposit slips will attract a fee. Then u will be more careful how to use the bank's instruments with caution and care |

amarachi06: My name is Mrs Chibuike and l got married in May 2013. l was waiting on the Lord for the fruit of the womb and He answered me in Nov 2015. l became the most happiest woman on Earth, my colleagues, parents,in laws and other were so happy with me that some will even dance on seeing my body. The pregnancy was out because l have big tummy to compare what 11 weeks look like. Unfortunately, on 1/01/2016 l noticed some brownish colour coming out of my body and l went to the hospital
but was told that my baby was not function well and was given injection. l was told to go for an ultrasound yesterday but the result shows that my baby is 11 weeks and is lifeless. l am so devastated with this news of my first loss that l don't wanna do the D&C as prescribed by Doc.I find it difficult to believe cos this baby brought out a good side of happiness in my marriage. l have no other people to break this news to rather to come this family#Nairaland to build me with kind words before l break the news out to my family and my colleagues. Am so confused that am thinking is my fault that it happened....... Please somebody should talk to me... and don't be angry l posted it here but this section is my home. Next time when you get pregnant keep it to urself don't ever discuss it with any family friends or neighbours except God and your husband. My wife lost 2 pregnancies cos we could not manage success. We told all and sundry but after some time she took in again. We did not tell anybody till she gave birth. They were all suprised. No one will come to your house to celebrate cos you are pregnant, and people only share testimonies when they give birth. Not when they are pregnant. Be wise madam. We live in a wicked world. |

Atmmachine: Bullshit. I repeat again, Bullshit.
Banning the use of ATM cards abroad ain't the solution to Naira's problem. You can't send Western union out from Nigeria to other countries, when Nigerians abroad get low on cash and decides to steal, Una go say them dey bring us bad name. Another bullshit. Who are you gonna deceive with that pile of steaming shiit you just wrote. I have a degree in Marketing. You're making Nigerians look uneducated. Have you heard of Pegged Exchange Rate ?? It's a type of Exchange Rate regime where a currency's value is fixed against either the value of another single currency. In a fixed exchange-rate system, a country’s central bank typically uses an open market mechanism and is committed at all times to buy and/or sell its currency at a fixed price in order to maintain its pegged ratio and, hence, the stable value of its currency in relation to the reference to which it is pegged. The central bank provides the assets and/or the foreign currency or currencies which are needed in order to finance any payments imbalances. The last large economy to use a fixed exchange rate system was the People's Republic of China which, in July 2005, adopted a slightly more flexible exchange rate system called a managed exchange rate. The European Exchange Rate Mechanism is also used on a temporary basis to establish a final conversion rate against the Euro (€) from the local currencies of countries joining the Eurozone. Jamaica, United kingdom and the United States of America also used the method.
I wish i can see you face to face so i can seize your degree and send your ass back to primary school Oga u copied some of your lines here online. You don't understand what you wrote here. What the op wrote was very on point. Ur own analysis was just theory in international trade, which explains the type and determinants of exchange rate regime. However, what is happening in the economy and CBN decision is a practical issue and a solution driven. We import more and demand for dollars is on the high side. Reducing the demand for dollars will stre |

I will sell 50 to 60 percent of the refinaries to private sectors for efficiency and proper accountability. I will ensure 3 refinaries are built with 100 percent private while the govt will enjoy tax from them.
Oil marketers licence, terms and conditions of service will be reviewed. I will remove subsidy by taking advantage of the fall of the oil price.
Meeting with FEC should be done every 2 weeks to review and appraise their work and give feedback on how and what prospect they have in their various ministries.
I applaud the TSA. It is very good but it must be reviewed every 6 months. Some govt agencies with the help of banks have opened discreet account and is operating presently. Some heads in these govt agencies needs to be changed. |

Your money is gone and the bank will not refund you. They only want to investigate it to avoid re occurrence. But then that is a cheap fraud. |

chiddye: its real ooo their site is dead I guess they couldn't handle the traffic the deals are awesome..... but with the dead site it annoying No, their site is not dead but is an intentional act to reduce the traffic of those that want to buy cheap goods. They scramble the site themselves while the black friday only last for one or two hours btw 12am to 2 am. After which the goods will be returned to the market price. But then, a second look at the discounts shows that there is nothing special cos the prices are ridiculously high before small discounts were given, bringing the prices to the normal market price. Check the site now you will see that is functioning well unlike what happened midnight. Their am is to create awareness and unsuspecting public will buy the goods after 2 am thinking the black friday is still on. They are not even ready to reduce anything. We need to be vigilant and suspicious. |
