THE Federal Government through the Central Bank of Nigeria, on Tuesday, imposed stamp duty of N50 on bank customers for money received into their accounts.

Although, “For all avoidance of doubt the following receipts are however exempted from imposition of stamp duties: payments of deposits or transfer by self to self whether inter or intra bank; and any form of withdrawals/transfers from saving accounts; It should be noted that these charges are only payable by receiving accounts;


However, Nigerians shouldn't be troubled. The best way to beat this system is outline below:

Step 1: gather the amount of money to be deposited.
Step 2: divide it by 900NGN or if U are like me, divide by 999NGN.
Step 3: pick the number of payment slips you need.
Step 4: deposit accordingly.

Traditional methods can also be applied;
1: bury deep in the ground of your backyard and tie red cloth around it.
2: bury deep in the ground, kill chicken constantly on the spot and pour oil.
3: bury in the floor and use "dig and faint charm".

Hmmmm some banks have started charging N210 per transfer form. Am sure other measures will apply and teller deposit slips will attract a fee. Then u will be more careful how to use the bank's instruments with caution and care

Hmmm the real thief was the guy that made a call and you divulge your information to. Why will you do such? No bank official will call you to give them your PIN details for them to help you. No one in the bank can know exactly when an account is being defrauded except a fraudster.

Your money is gone and the bank will not refund you. They only want to investigate it to avoid re occurrence. But then that is a cheap fraud.

No, their site is not dead but is an intentional act to reduce the traffic of those that want to buy cheap goods. They scramble the site themselves while the black friday only last for one or two hours btw 12am to 2 am. After which the goods will be returned to the market price.

But then, a second look at the discounts shows that there is nothing special cos the prices are ridiculously high before small discounts were given, bringing the prices to the normal market price.

Check the site now you will see that is functioning well unlike what happened midnight. Their am is to create awareness and unsuspecting public will buy the goods after 2 am thinking the black friday is still on.
