Please don’t discourage anyone. I got the NNDC foreign postgraduate scholarship without knowing anyone. The system might be corrupt, but there are definitely a few who still get it on merit. I used to think everything was based on connections, but I took a bold step and applied for the scholarship and the rest is history.
