Culture / Re: Stolen Benin City Mask To Be Auctioned In London For N1.25b by ettebobson: 3:59pm On Dec 22, 2010
Solozzo:

The glorious mask was stolen all right but it was part of what can be regarded as spoils of war. When you lose a war you are bound to lose a lot of property you may never get back. You may trade your life or even  your race for those material things. The mask is currently in private hands and we cannot use poitics to get it back. I suggest that Edo state govt with the assistance of the Federal government buy the mask back and ensure it 's safe keeping and preservation, That is the way to go

Sports / Re: Amodu Blasts His Critics by ettebobson: 4:52pm On Feb 10, 2010
, If the NFF gave Amodu a semi-final target and he met it; why then fire him?
The guys in the NFF should be the ones fired for giving a semi-fimal target.
it's a big shame to aim for the semi-finals of the nations cup.
Romance / Re: She Insists On Keeping The Pregnancy: I'm 27 by ettebobson: 7:16pm On Jan 04, 2010
In as much as we are not perfect and none of us here in Nairaland is a saint but for anyone to come here and subscribe to abortion (murder), it's a damn shame. Bring on ur insults, but for you to tell a 27 year old who knew the consequencies of his action to tow the line of abortion, you're a retard.
Ultimately, the decision rests on the female to make the chioce however wrong her choice might be.
but for the agbaya poster, get a life!

Events / Re: Ryhthm Unplugged, Anything Can Happen (refund!) by ettebobson: 12:00pm On Dec 29, 2009
Yep, the organizers messed up the logistics during the event but it was not so bad after all. it was a good show but the organisation could have been better considering the fact that this is not the first time they are organising such an event.
AND they are better off not using TA in any of their events in future. He was the disaster of the night. MI put up an incredible show, didn't he?

We must always bring negativity into it. If you have evidence post if not, let the man savor his glory for being one Governor who understand Governance

I'm not downplaying Fashola's good work. i just dey broadcast wetin i hear ni.
, besides, i have a right to complain cos' i pay tax. in between, let him use some of that money and hasten work on the lekki-epe expressway. The slow pace of work is causing me heartaches

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Do Stammerers Have A Good Chance In High Stake Job Interviews? by ettebobson: 3:14pm On Aug 19, 2009
First off; this is an insensitive topic. Two; i am not a stammerer.

I know lots of stammerers who have high profile jobs. I read someone mention shlumberger and not employing stammerers; dude should shut up cos he/she don't know what he/she is talking about.
