Sorry but this is an official announcement that Ocean of Secrets will be on an indefinite hold. I was mugged yesterday and my phone was stolen. My manuscript is gone and I have no means of continuing for now. I'm still in shock and bingeing on Sia's Big Girls Cry.

Merry Christmas millieademi! So, this is my first post on your story and I must say kudos to you. I love the fact that your characters are plenty and interrelated in one way or the other and yet you still have control over the plot.

So, I noticed something yesterday. The colour of Seyifunmi's eyes. People do not exactly have black eyes. Eye colours usually range from incredibly darkkk shades of brown (which is what most of us in this country have) to lighter colours like sky blue, light green and all that. Except you're going to shock us later sha and reveal to us that she has an eye defect that affects her eye colour, then okay.

I'm ashamed to even call myself a writer. School hasn't let me have breathing space but here goes.
Like LarrySun said, many times a story just pops into my head. At other times, someone could just say a word and the word registers in my head and refuses to leave. More often than not, I write the word down as the title of a new document and just leave it there till somehow a story gets woven around the word in my mind.
Sometimes, something happens to me or around me and immediately, my mind starts to work and a story is born.
There are times when I get annoyed into writing. When people get me extremely angry and I don't want to complain to anyone. I just pick up my pen and start writing. Sometimes, it comes out beautifully. At other times, it's quite rough. Either way, when I'm calm, I arrange everything properly.

I didn't want to quote the whole update but I hope Divepen1 knows what part of the update I'm referring to. I think the correct expression is "There is no smoke without a fire" not the other way round.
