Investment / Re: Bonds Investors Hub by evalasthn: 3:01pm On May 31, 2018
Thank you so much guys for this thread especially awesomeJ.
I recently started money market investment with Stanbic ibtc bank (after dragging my feet for some months) and I must say it's really good.
With an investment of 3m i get about 1k everyday which is added back to the total investment and re-invested again yielding higher income.
percentage return is about 12-14% depending on the market price.
And I can start withdarwing from the account with full proceeds after one month

My question now is, what kind of investment is this? is it Bond, TB, Eurobond
Is their any better bank investment than this?
Do you guys think this is really a good investemt because the marketer that sold this to me made me understand that its the best i cant get out there.

I plan on increasing higher than 3m but after reading this thread am dragging my feet again

Politics / Re: Child Beggars On Lagos Street by evalasthn: 2:43pm On Jan 11, 2011
@poster, nice post but your preferred solution isnt a good one. this is a societal issue and not something few groups of people can handle.
what i think is the solution is for government to make and enforce a law on free primary and secondary education with free breakfast, lunch and some amount of money every month for every citizen of the age 18 and bellow (especially the less privileged ones). the cost is nothing compared to what they steal in just one ministry.
you talk about mental slavery but you show mental slavery by something you wrote. our govt has failed us and we need to voice it out. demand for the right thing to be done by them!
PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE IS USELESS

@sledge406, dude i think u need see an oculist , the post is about "Child Beggars On Lagos Streets" and not "beggars". easy man!
Religion / Re: Why Did God Have To ''Kill His Son''? by evalasthn: 4:57pm On Oct 27, 2010
I don't know why many people are being immature and insulting the poster. What the poster needs is schooling not insult or condemnation, Also people should stop condemning what others believe or do. Everybody should be respected whether Christian, Muslim, Buddha, Grail message, AMORC or traditionalist etc,
If you can school somebody, do it and not insult or condemn, What matters is that you keep (or try to keep) your hand clean and your heart pure, Spread Love as Jesus Christ taught us and send positive vibration to one and all, Do research and get some knowledge and understanding , Read the bible not just as a Holy Book but as a research material,
Peace and Love.

NB: Am a Christian by the way
Religion / Re: Why Did God Have To ''Kill His Son''? by evalasthn: 4:38pm On Oct 27, 2010
I think Jesus Christ is the best thing that happened to mankind.
I don't think God sent His Son to die for our sins, even John 3:16 says' "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life"

It was not written that God sent His son to come and die for our sins.

Jesus brought us the Truth and also grace.

I think His death symbolizes His unconditional love for mankind. Because He knew that many people will not like the Truth and will kill Him for that. But He had to pay the price to bring mankind Truth and Grace (John 1:17).

So to the poster, I don't think God sent His only begotten Son to come and die for our sins, rather He sent His son to bring us Truth and Grace but He paid a price to do that.

@ madlady, attached are Rasta and Ghana flags, very identical. Yes there are real Rastas in Nigeria but them are very few. even some few Jamaican Bobo Ashanti's live here. Seems you like Rastas or you enjoy reggae music. Bless up

Religion / Re: What Do Rastafarians Really Believe In? by evalasthn: 2:55pm On Jul 05, 2010
I see some folks here ovastand (understand) what RASTARAI is, big up to madlady. To sum it up, RASTARAI is not a religion but a way of life that is pure, simple, full of love and respect, peace and Inity (unity). Most Nija people that pose as Rasta are really fake but real ones are around still. In west Africa, I think Ghana is where you'll find most real Rastas ( their National color is the RASTAFARI color ). Rastafari is not about Dreadlock and Ganja (not all rastas are on dread and ganja, and not all dread ganja smokers are rastas).

these blind and ignorant cec members amaze me, none of you said anything about the 16 couples' wedding that was overshadowed because anita was coming(and those couples are supposed to be your brethren?), so pathetic ,  loveworld indeed!

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Not pastor chris and anita worshipers or cec fanatics or even religion fanatics!

Manipulating a person to give (whether directly or indirectly) is a form of witchcraft,

2 Cor 9:7

7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

RELIGION IS A BLUNDER AND CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH SEEM SO BLIND, PEOPLE CHOSE MAN OVER THEIR MAKER, GO READ THE HOLY BOOK AND ASK THE MOST HIGH TO GIVE YOU UNDERSTANDING, HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU GIVE, BUT THE REASON BEHIND WHY YOU DO WHAT YOU DO, MANY PEOPLE GIVE TO RECEIVE (MUST IT BE LIKE THAT?), GIVING JUST LIKE LOVE SHOULD BE SINCERE ,BUT THE SO CALLED MEN OF GOD MANIPULATE YOU TO GIVE IN OTHER TO RECEIVE(WHY?), GIVE BECAUSE YOU WANT TO ASSIST OR HELP NOT BECAUSE YOU WANT TO RECEIVE, HUMANS LOOK AT THE PHYSICAL ACTION BUT GOD LOOKS AT THE HEART, THE REASON!, THE INTENTION!, MANY PEOPLE ARE LOOKING FOR MIRACLE, FORGETTING THAT GOD HAS DONE EVERYTHING FOR US (IMAGINE YOUR SON DIEING FOR ALL MANKIND), AND HUMANS STILL WANT MORE, (SELFISH AND UNGRATEFUL GULLIBLE HUMANS), THAT'S WHY THEY LOOK FOR MIRACLE EVERYWHERE AND GIVE ANYTHING TO RECEIVE, SOME OF THEM HAVE SUFFERING BROTHERS AND SISTERS, SOME ARE IN POSITION TO HELP THEIR BROTHERS GET JOB AND THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING, INSTEAD THEY QUICKLY GIVE IN THEIR CHURCHES, EVEN WHEN ITS NOT NECESSARY, EVEN WHEN ITS ALL SCAM!!!!,
WHEN YOU WAKE UP GIVE THANKS AND PRAISE TO GOD FOR HE ALONE IS GOD ALMIGHTY. WHEN YOU ASK HE GIVES , WHEN YOU DON'T ASK HE GIVES EVEN WHEN YOU ARE FILLED WITH SIN HE STILL GIVES YOU.
READ THE HOLY BIBLE MORE OFTEN AND LIVE UP!, GO READ PSALM 112 http://www.bartleby.com/108/19/112.html

LOVE GOD, LOVE YOU AND LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR, THAT ALL

if you want to follow God, then do it, because many people i see follow their fellow humans as if God is so far away, Christ is the Way, Truth and Life, and not pastor chris or any church.nice one poster,
Health / Re: Hiv+ Experiences,lets Share It. by evalasthn: 1:14pm On Mar 10, 2010
brave step, nice one and commendable too.its only ignorant peps that discriminate, the virus cant even survive 3mins outside its host, HIV virus is only strong inside but outside , its almost useless, so eating together or touching and things like that cant give u d virus, av got someone dear that has the virus and all i do is show love and care and be careful too and everything is great.

NB: you dont have to do this if you dont want to, but you can get prescription from your doctor to use medical marijuana to improve your appetite ( you'll see ya self eating pretty often).
Music/Radio / Re: Why Are Nigerian Musicians Forever Copying African American/jamaican Artistes? by evalasthn: 12:38pm On Mar 05, 2010
Its best to stick to ur roots and do African songs but that doesnt take away the fact that good music is good misic, Lucky dube is one of the best (if not the best) African reggae musician and he didnt copy anybody.
Celebrities / Re: Dbanj Smoking Indian Hemp With Wande Coal? by evalasthn: 12:23pm On Mar 05, 2010
marijuana is a creation by God and their is nothing bad about it. but its not for everybody because some ppl smoke or take d sensi and start tripping and messing up, some ppl think being a rasta means smoking weed. Many artists are even confusing the young minds, making them belive that weed makes you cool and great when they should talk the good side and bad side of weed.i love marijuana but its not for everybody, if ur head cant carry it ,dont take it, it sure can mess u up if u abuse it.and ppl are really ignorant, how can someone think its agbero or irresponsible guys take weed, Presidos, doctors, lawyers , bankers smoke sensi, IT gurus and we Oil and Gas ppl take it too.
Bushman sang, i smoke d sensi when its necessary,
better ur levity and free the kaya man,
Music/Radio / When Are We Going To Have Another Evi Edna Ogoli-ogosi: by evalasthn: 10:34am On Feb 24, 2010
, remember her? The Queen of Nigerian Reggae that made hits like Ririovara , Oghene Me , Message to the Youths, Look Before You Cross, Jealousy and Happy Birthday amongst others. unless your a 90's person, you might not really know her. I wonder where She and her family is. She is no doubt Nigeria's best female reggae musician and is highly loved and missed by her fans. i wish she could come back just like Pa Fatai Rolling Dollars did now that the music industry is big, and take her position and money.
I also will love to see more conscious reggae singers (esp females) in Nigeria. I know they exist but most of them don't want to face discrimination because most people see reggae musicians as weed heads and irresponsible people and that's not true. some reggae singers don't even smoke weed or drink alcohol, e.g Lucky Dube (doesn't smoke weed). root reggae fans are many in this country and are ready to support reggae artist.
bless
