I was at the scene of the incident and ran for my dear life too but why exactly he used the word 'northerner' could be because immediately after the young man was hit, northern folks hit the road and tried blocking it with any obstacle on sight. And they burned tyres right in the middle of the road. So, northerners responding could be the reason he used the word. We are ofcourse one, Hausa Igbo, Yoruba. Cheers.

I agree with your judgement of the OP's title. Students would feel condemned, but if they don't feel condemned, why should we argue this?

That's why I said it's not always true. Seen industrious students too. Ofcourse students can't be divorced, 99% are not married and so, immaturity and irresponsibility isn't far from them. What are they responsible for? What bills are they paying for? What meeting do they have to meet up?
Rather, most jump from one guy to the other. It's a two-way argument, but I'll give it to the working class ladies.

For a lady to be a working class one, I believe she must have a sense of responsibility and at least bits of maturity. Definitely, such ladies don't galivant around like the typical school girls.... It's not always true though, but on the high side, more respect to the working class ones.
