As long as theist are free to preach everywhere ,i also hold the right to belief or not...i can also share to people that care to listen.
I see you are angry already only by assuming i am talking of Christianity(this is what happen to theist when someone challenges their belief).You are right ,every other religion when you put them side by side are all the same thing.Do this and go to heaven ,dont do it and go to hell...imaginary places that have no effect on humanity.

just imagine that scientist did not pursue empirical answers to the meaning of things. I am not against you,i am just against you belief system which has brought nothing but pain ,lies and death to humanity.all religion are dangerous.free yourself

Why is the target since 2000 years ago?
Were you there before 2000 years ago to see that there was good mindset and wisdom that bring progress among the people living in the region called Nigeria today?

How about other developed countries like the UK, Canada, USA, Germany, etc that have gradually acquired wisdom and progress since 2000 years ago, why didn't they stop progressing like Africa because there was 2000 years ago?

Please your thoughts or explanations are distorted ,I cant understand your take.when i said 2000 years ago ,i am talking of the holy books presented by religion as a way to give meaning to existence and explain the universe as an act of god.

If we love Nigeria and humanity, we will come out boldly to correct the ills and retrogressive mindset of our people,knowing fully well that we cannot progress with the wisdom and knowledge used over 2000 years ago.we do not need to disrespect or attack theists we just need to raise our argument and morality.We should make our presence known and let the international community know that we are over 1% of the population and our size is not infinitesimal.Your take please.

I guess when you all think of God ...you see a picture of a huge white man with lots of beards.it is sad.
Just imagine that scientist did not bother to observe the cosmos and proved with empirical evidence many of the things that were consider 'acts of God' i am sure you will still be serving the rain god or sun god.no body will be able to change your mind.

ok i guys i will like to come in here.YES I am an atheist and it took me years of doubt and critical reasoning to get here.
I will help you all out ,please read with an open mind and read up before jumping at me...

1.Atheism is not "the belief that god does not exist' rather it is the rejection of the assertion/belief that supreme deities exist.

2.The belief in a god came to existence when humans could not understand the cosmos.i.e you do not know how rain falls ,hence you conclude that there must be a rain god.

3.religious book lack basic empirical knowledge and more also rational ones.i.e no mention of dinosaurs or other extinct creatures show limited knowledge.

4.Lots of stories in the religious books are not rational and are mere superstitions.i.e the ark of Noah(not logically possible and not moral right to kill everyone except Noah's family and two of all species which is almost an infinite number),we can bring it home and compare it to stories of obatala ,amadioha etc.

5.every tribe came up with a creationist story ,the jews were just wise enough to tie theirs to an historic figure in person of Jesus .Be aware that the jews are currently not Christians.

6.It is difficult for people to doubt religion and the existence of god because we were all wired to belief right from cradle.

7.some people may argue that religion gives a sense of morality but the truth is that it has caused more death than any other /war than any other ideology .morality comes from rationality.ownership of slaves ,incest ,unjust wars were all normal in this religious times.religion was spread true brute force,oppression and war.

8.People do not choose their religion,they are simply born in a geographical location where a particular one is prevalent and they have to defend the inherited religion all their lives.i guess this people will all go to hell as long as they do not subscribe to your own god.

9.science has explained so many phenomena that were formally thought to be the act of God ,give it more time and it will do more.the only thing that is holding science back is religion.

10.we cannot blame the stone man for trying to give meaning to his existence,we should blame ourselves for sticking with the ideas of the stone age .we should progress.

11.If the said god is all knowing,it means he already knows and decided who will go to hell or heaven.

12.we can also blame the said god for giving people the kind of brain that will doubt his,her or its existence.

13.unlearn and Think,you will find the answer.

kclub83: yes go d test invite today. Study ur verbal and quantitative analysis. I did d test in 2011 but did nt finish coz time was short but dis time around am doing d test with d grace of God

hibekey2: GUYS, I GOT THE MAIL TOO AND I AV THE SHL PRACTICE QUESTIONS BUT THE PROBLEM HERE IS THAT MY SHL DOESNT CONTAIN THE CORRECT ANSWER TO CROSSCHECK MY OPTIONS AFTER PRACTISING.
