[/quote]The road to TotalEnergies U23 Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2023 has been completed as seven teams join host Morocco to secure their place in this year’s event.

The final tournament will take place between 24 June to 8 July 2023.

The TotalEnergies U23 Africa Cup of Nations is a qualifier for the Summer Olympics where the top three nations are guaranteed a place in Paris next year.

Africa Powerhouse and Olympic medalists, Nigeria, Senegal and Cameroon failed to make to the tournament after losing in the qualifiers to Guinea, Mali and Gabon.

Nigeria were held 0-0 at home in Abuja before losing 2-0 away in Morocco to Guinea while Senegal who won 3-1 in Dakar were defeated 3-0 in Bamako as Mali secured their place in Morocco on a 4-3 aggregate.

Despite Eto’o son scoring the only goal in Yaounde, Cameroon were unable to book their in Morocco after losing 6-7 on penalties to Gabon who won the first leg 1-0.

Others who book their place in the 2023 AFCON are Ghana who eliminated Algeria 2-1 on aggregate, Congo on away goal rule against South Africa and Niger who recorded a massive 2-1 victory against Sudan in Khartoum.

Honestly speaking the tribalism on this forum is just way too much. I cringe whenever I see their comments. I do report some, but I got tired of it cause, when you report one, you will still see 10 left, and now I noticed some of my comments doesn't appear again, without breaking any rules
