Career › Re: Secondary School Teaching Vs Lecturing: Which Of These Two Jobs Should I Choose? by Excessnation: 10:29am On Oct 07, 2020 |
Handouts are not sold in private universities. Sorting: yes, but it is risky cause you can be easily caught which will warrant an indefinite suspension. iaamxavier: Can you teach these kids forever? No! Think about career prospects rather than the current pay! Do you know how lecturers make their money? From sales of hand out and textbook Imagine you get to sell handouts at the rate of 1k to 100 students per department and you're lecturing about 5 departments (100Level) Do the math As a lecturer you can't possibly have class from 8-6PM Every school session ends by 4pm I don't want to including sorting because that's corruption Anyways its still your choice to make Just lent my advice |

You see what I am saying, when you don’t know something keep quiet. I am not talking because I feel like talking, I am saying this because it is what I know, I see it everyday I go out, I have elder ones who talk to me. There is money in Nigeria, keep your eyes down and you will see the opportunities glaring at you in the face. Everyday I go out I see a lot of opportunities that are untapped and these are what this foreigners are seeing. There are also billionaires in Nigeria who made it without having to step an inch outside, it’s all about looking. I wouldn’t want to give you my business ideas if not I would have opened your eyes to somethings. Look at our population, don’t you think it’s an asset. Read about Chinese billionaires and you would understand how they put the high population into good use. lilmax: Sadly, you're the ignorant one here
The fact that those chinese, Indians are succeeding in the country should make you rethink
Those people you called are killing the country with the help of Nigerians
Trust me you're the ignorant one here bro |

Kekereekun123: those ones are above the law, you a common man aint. Different treatments by government. you don’t always have to spew your ignorance around, I am talking based on the interactions I have with people, my friends and family members who are also making it big in Nigeria. I understand that it’s not everyone that is made for the stress that comes with making money in Nigeria, but that does not take away the fact that people are making serious money in Nigeria. |
Travel › Re: 8 Million In 9ja Or Canada? by Excessnation: 7:55am On Oct 06, 2020 |
Exactly my point. They all believe that it is until you travel abroad that’s when you can make it, forgetting that there are also people doing well for themselves in Nigeria. Etinosa1234: Someone that already believes that all business are created completely by corruption He should tell that to people who have big businesses in aba, nnewi or Lagos... Na money wey i never get yet, I Dey get inspiration from those Chinese people make I pursue dem from this country or make dem work for me... After all, Nigeria nor get big business for China
Op... whatever u choose with money is ur choice. Just make sure it’s best decision for u |

Baba, when you don’t know about something try to keep shut. It’s not a must to shalaye. There are people making it big in Nigeria. The country is not working for you doesn’t mean it’s not working for others. There are a lot of wealthy people who didn’t come across 8 million, but today they are making it big. You sef reason it why do you think everyday the Chinese and Indians are trooping into Nigeria, even the Lebanese. It should tell you that there is something they are seeing which you are not. Snaagg: Enough of silly blanket statements like this
Invest in what exactly? I'm tired of people like this who come on nairaland, talking bogus bullcraap as if investing in some imaginary 'thing' in Nigeria is guaranteed a return in investment. Mention one industry in Nigeria that isn't overrun with nepotism, tribalism and corruption - where you are guaranteed to be successful no matter your age, gender, background, status or who you know.
This is how people will be leading folks astray with false hope.
@OP, Nigeria is a country where nothing works and you will lose that 8million in a heartbeat if you're not careful. |

If your friend has 8 million naira let him not leave Nigeria. If he invests the money properly he would go to Canada or USA on vacation comfortably without having to stress |

It depends on his budget, but I will advise he moves to any country in Scandinavia (Norway, Finland,Sweden and the rest) . He can go through the study route though. periperi: I was having a conversation with a friend recently and he was thinking of leaving this country to a better country to work, earn massively and change his life and the life of his family members. I told him I'll ask my nairaland family and get back to him. Which country is okay?
Ps: He's newly married and he has no kids. |
