My oil turns bad with less than 1000miles even after using Hardex synthetic oil and mobil synthetic oil. And my engine smokes whitish black once I start it every morning. Any solution pls gazzuz I need your impute here

Toyota type T 1v. They use the same transmission fluid and they are identical in all components except that Lexus runs on premium unleaded fuel ⛽ while the highlander runs on regular unleaded fuel

Am currently using rav4 2004 and I will say it's cheap compact vehicle with beauty all over it. Please ensure on buying not less than 2004 model cus of perceived transmission ossie. The parts and readily available and affordable, just ensure you do your regular maintenance and use the right oil for servicing. Price range should be 1.5 to 1.9 depending no how neat the car is both bodily and engine

Thanks for the detailed analysis and your help for a follower enthusiast. Please I want to know if what am getting out of my car is OK. With a fuel tank of 58litres I get about 270miles out of my full tank on highway driving whereas I get less than 180miles while driving within town on my Rav4 2004. please what can I do to get a better mpg. for poor gas milage, you need a scantool that has live data functionality.
1. run a scan and scan if there's any present malfunction or historical trouble code
2. Check your live date. You want to be looking at your fuel trims. short and long fuel trim. you want to be close to _+0% on your long term fuel trim LTFT
3. for your case i believe you are probably running rich you should be between 20 - 24% negative long term fuel trim. This will lead to diagnose if u have a vacuum leak, poor fuel injectors, dirty MAF sensor etc
4. your short term fuel trim tells u the instantaneous pulse rate of the fuel injector/ fuel pump performance. can diagnose dirty fuel pump filter or clogged injector
5. exhaust leak may and may not be significant. Post B1S2 exhaust leak is less significant in fuel economy. Exhaust leak before before the B1S2 will cause excess air into the exhaust and ur O2 sensor voltage will be rather low close to 0.1V.

I use Rav4 2004 and it is very efficient. No car is problem free, it's all about management. With rav4, you don't need to have a mechanic. Just use the right oil weight and always monitor your car, You are good to go

I also use Hardex 5w30 and it is emitting smoke in the morning hours? Have your own stopped emitting smokes?

hi to all the gurus.I use a ford escape 2001 and the recommended oil grade is 5w 20 which I have dilligently adhered to but then I noticed the engine oil gradually reduces.I had my mechanic check for leakages but there was none.after several inquiries,I was advised to go with a fully synthetic blend and that since the tribute of same year came out of same assembly plant with same engine and makes use of 5w 30,I could go with a fully synthetic 5w 30 which I did.when changing the oil,I noticed the previous 5w 20 was extremely light.no thickness at all.

immediately after putting in the hardex 5w30 fully synthetic blend,my car started to emit blue smoke.I gave it a few days to see if it will clear but it didnt.my mechanic thinks the oil isn't good for the car but I want to be sure it isn't something else.

I didn't do an engine flush before using the synthetic because I didn't want to run the risk of tampering with whatever sludge might have accumulated.

please advise as appropiate

Should I revert back to 20w50 since 5w30 is too light so that the oil will stop leaking?

Perhaps you have too much oil in your crankcase.
