You stand a chance if you can act fast. Your MSc is what you need for your assessment with Vetassess as HPO, although you still need to provide your bachelors which does not equate to public health degree. However, veatasses will deduct one year from your experience counting from when you finished your msc. Gather your documents, transcripts, master degree award certificate, reference letters from your NGO detailing your duties as a HPO and some evidence of payment like Tax, payslip and bank statement. Go for tour English exam, preferably PTE and score 73 in all sections or better aim for 20 points. lilichi: Good day house,

Congratulations Mamabigboy, I am happy you got your 15 points from experience. To answer your questions 1. You can go ahead as MLT, there is no disadvantage per say, only that MLT is not on MTSOL meaning you won't get 189 nomination with it. However, writing the exam is up to you. If you want to go for 189 you can prepare and write the exam, many of Medical Laboratory Scientists had taken and passed the exam so you can do it if you can devote time and prepare for the exam, it will only set you back some thousands of dollars. 2. Those are no issue. While filling your EOI, endeavour to use same details on your assessment report. Pls don't alter anything so as not to warrant unnecessary CO contacts. Just creat your EOI and wait for July Mamabigboy: Good day everyone. I hope we are good and keeping safe. I received a scanned assessment result letter from AIMS this morning, they had earlier sent the original copy which got stuck in God knows country due to COVID19 pandemics. The outcome of my assessment fetched me 10 years 2 months experience as a Lab technician. Thanks to everyone who answered my questions on this platform, most especially @tunlex01 and @Bellong, God bless you, I appreciate it. I will need a lot of clarifications and guidance during the course of this journey, I hope you guys will be there to put me through. My questions now are as follows: 1.To anyone who sat for AIMS exam, was it really worth it, or I should just maintain Lab technician? 2. I have an overlap in the start&end dates of employment at two places of work. I used my terminal leave at workplace A to resume at workplace B giving an overlap of days, how do I justify this during application? Best regards |

What is your occupation? Have you gotten positive assessment? Nomination is based on state requirements in relation to occupations in demand. Goto anzscosearch.com to check which state is nominating your occupation. mamatwiny: Please I need someone to guide me on this. I intend to apply for 491, my current score without regional pts is 65. At what point is the regional point added? If it is added, it gets to 80. 3 regions are currently sponsoring my SOL, how do they nominate? Is it based on the highest point, or based on what their current demand is? Eg, can a civil engineer ( which is said to have high demand ) with point 65 get regional invitation before a musician with point 90 ?
I want to know what my chances are on 80pts ( my target) as we don't want to spend money on spouse Ielts and accreditation except it is so needed. If it is, it will be wise to start the process on time to get nomination on time. |

Firstly is what's is your total point for 189 and 190 Secondly, have you gone through SLA to know if you are truly eligible to apply as a Solicitor Thirdly, have you gone through vetasses to ascertain your husband can apply as Sales and Marketing Manager based on roles and responsibilities. To answer your questions, both of you don't actually need to apply individually. One application is enough and the other can be a dependant. However, to up your points, your spouse can go for assessment and English test to help boast your points. Pls take time to read from page one BelovedQuerida: Hi everyone, My family and I just started considering immigration to Australia and I have a quick question (or maybe 2). I am eligible to apply for 189 and 190 as a Solicitor, however my spouse is only eligible to apply for 190 as a Sales & Marketing Manager. My question is can I apply for 189 and still travel with my spouse even though he is ineligible for 189 or do we both have to apply for 190. A follow-on question will be if we have to apply for 190, do we both need state nomination to submit EOI or will one person's nomination suffice? I apologize if similar questions have already been answered on this thread and will appreciate any direction I am able to get. Thanks! |

All documents to be submitted to AIMS except your course syllabus must be certified true copy by a Notary public. You can goto any high court and ask for a Notary public or you ask any lawyer in your state of residence list of Notary publics. Prices per page may range from 300 to 1k, no let them cheat you. Twostargeneral: Hello, Please i am currently gathering my document for Skill assessment by AIMS for 234611- Medical Laboratory Scientist. However on the AIMS website i noticed that it constantly refered to certified copy of Front passport page, credentials, IELTS result and others. Please do i have to find a notary personnel to do this?. Please Help. Secondly, i need direction on how to check the provinces that can nominates for skilled workers. Thank you. |

Goto aims.org.au and read about what and what is required for assessment. Secondly, drop your individual points so we can determine your point score from English. Your overall score is enough for assessment with aims.
From the little info you dropped, here are your possible points Age 25 Education 15 English NA Experience 15 If single extra 10 points If married, State your spouse details. State nomination 15

I only hope you have not been scammed. |

Looking at your result though it won't give you any point as you need 7 in all to get 10 points or 8 in all for 20 points, it is just enough for you to start up with your assessment with AIMS. Gather all your reference letters from your internship till now. Goto AIMS website for more information on assessment process. abroad2020: Hello guys, Thanks for your responses on this thread. They have really helped. I have been following this thread silently but decided to activate this abroad waka.

can the inverter be power only by electricity as I don't have solar panels? remi2good: yeah I'll recommend it if you're on a budget. The inverter is so good you won't agree it's modified sine wave at times and it has an inbuilt charger that's very intelligent. And you can be using it and charging your Batts at the same time which is equivalent to ups mode. The power consumption is so low that it save you more 30% on your batt unlike the normal inverter because it's very light weight. The icing on the cake is that it charges with low current even as lows as 100v. The humming sound on fans with coil is not very significant, I've used it for personal use at home and I've used it for commercial purpose in salon office and I confess the inverter is very rugged. I have the normal inverter in my office but any time PHCN light get problems and no hope of light for days I swap with this one to enjoy my batteries for very long time. But make sure every extension you use it with should not be loose and every plug plugged in should not be loose and shaking . |
